Abstract

The paper aimed to find out the adaptation of tourism actors in Dieng Plateau, Central Java in dealing with the pandemi. The qualitative study through employing observation and in-depth interview as data collection techniques reveals that COVID-19 pandemic has weakened the tourism sektor in Wonosobo Regency to the lowest point in history. The pandemic’s impact has appeared on the economic and management aspects of both the government, tourism actors, and tourists. Tourism destinations in Wonosobo, especially in the Dieng Plateau, has been closed, resulting in a drastically decrease in the number of visitor, similar to the other destinations facing the huge economic losses in tourism. Through the reopening of several phases in stages with the adaptation of tourism in related tourist attractions, will save the tourism industry. So that tourism actors in Dieng included tourism sektor employees, guests, government, to adapt the pandemic have started to adapt the new behavior in tourism sectors during the crises. These adaptation strategies are expected to revive tourism sektors measured from the increase of visitor’s arrival and the implementation of the new behavior in tourism sector.Keywords: Pandemic; Dieng; Adaptation; Impact

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of riverbanks as part of the development of ecotourism-based hotel management at Hotel Puri Asri Magelang which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation as well as the obstacles faced in utilizing river banks at the hotel. The choice of Hotel Puri Asri Magelang was because the researchers viewed that this hotel was able to apply the concept of ecotourism well. This research is qualitative. The research method used is the method of interviewing, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this study using descriptive analysis. In a more comprehensive environmental impact analysis, socio-cultural and economic factors, the environment are also considered and in fact, it is often to try to separate the socio-economic and physical components of the environment, however, separate checks of these components are usually made as is done here, for convenience organization. Many features of the physical environment are attractions for tourists, tourism facilities and infrastructure are one aspect of the environment that is important in tourism activities. The development of tourism and the use of tourists in an area can have environmental impacts. The type and extent of environmental impacts are also closely related to the type and intensity of tourism development undertaken.Keywords: ecotourism, sustainable tourism development, hotel management

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to cultivate oil palm in Indonesia, so it could become a tourist destination that gives welfare to the surrounding community and the Indonesian community in the development of oil palm plantations is also supported by the geographical position, topografi, climate, hydrology, and natural conditions suitable for planting oil palm. Agro Tourism is a special type of tourism that makes agricultural crops, livestock, farm as an attraction for tourists. According R.S. Damardjati (2006) Agro is a tourist attraction visits the farm with agricultural or plantation areas that are distinctive, which has been developed such that the various aspects related to the cultivated plant species has led to motivation and attraction for tourists who visit it.Keywords: Agrotourism, Attraction, Palm,Indonesia,climate,and hydrology

Abstract

Health tourism particularly medical tourism has been an attention by Indonesian government. Many Indonesian citizens travel overseas to get medical treatment and it has made millions dollars of money went out of country. Indonesia works to mitigate the loose of money because of the citizens seeking medical treatment overseas. Consumer motivations in health tourism is various such as to get a better health facilities at better price. This research sets out to find out hospitals in Yogyakarta that provides health tourism service, and also the potential medical treatment in Yogyakarta. Literature studies, observation and interview are conducted to collect data and information. This research finds there are two hospitals in Yogyakarta have been focusing and experiencing in health tourism. The potential medical treatments are infertility, skin and beauty care, urology and all the medical services provided by these two hospitals. Collaboration and cooperation among stakeholders in health tourism need to be continuously improved to prepare Yogyakarta as health tourism destination. Abstract

This study was conducted to see how much influence the organizational image and study program prospects have on student decision making in choosing the Department of Tourism Studies at the Ambarrukmo Tourism College, Yogyakarta, both gradually and simultaneously. This research is a causal associative study with a quantitative approach. The variable of this study is image. organization, study program prospects and student purchasing decisions. The object of this research is the student population of the STIPRAM Tourism Study Program class 2018/2019 as many as 110 students, consisting of 70 women and 40 men.as a sample through proportional random sampling technique.Data collection method by conducting questionnaires and data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that:.(1) The image of the study program has a positive and relevant effect on student decisions as indicated by the value of tcount = 6.120 with a significance of 0.000. (2) Likewise, the prospect of study programs has a positive and quite large influence on student decisions as seen from the value of tcount = 3,479 with a significance of 0.001.Keywords: Organizational Image, Study Program Prospects, Decision Making

Abstract

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in Indonesia. Coffee is currently sold not only as a product, but also as part of a lifestyle along with the development of many coffee shops or coffee shops. Along with the development of business businesses engaged in food and beverages, especially coffee, many companies are trying and competing to set up various and varied businesses. Currently, the food and beverages business is a type of business that is flourishing from simple variants with various attractive and unique views of a variety of different prices according to the level of product characteristics. This study aims to determine the characteristics of coffee products at Cafe Lim Kok Tong Pluit towards customer loyalty. The results of the research in the t test show that the variable X (product characteristics) individually or partially and significantly has a significant influence. on the variable Y (customer loyalty), so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the research in the f test show that the significance value 0.000 <0.05, so this shows that the product characteristic variables simultaneously influence customer loyalty.Keywords: Product Characteristics; Coffee; Customer Loyalty

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe or strengthen the function of the museum as a means of education outside the classroom as part of the co-curricular education program. This program is often referred to as an educational tourism activity. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that uses data collection methods through literature study using various sources such as books, journal articles, and news sources that support the research. Data collection, data processing, and data analysis were carried out from September 2020 to January 2021. The conclusions of this study are: (1) museums have an educational function that must be elaborated and used as a source, media, and place of learning as part of educational co-curricular program. Museums provide open communication about ideas, concepts, information involving exploration and discovery. Museum is a place of learning for 3A (the authentic, the aesthetic, and the accessible). (2) it is necessary to increase the role, quality and professionalism of the teaching staff so that the museum can function effectively and improve the quality of education. (3) it is necessary to have the role of museum managers and related policy makers to optimize the quality and accessibility so that the museum is easily accessible to tourists and is open to educational programs. In addition, innovation is needed in managing museum tourism so that it can attract tourists. Thus, synergy is needed between museum managers as providers and formal educational institutions as users in the use of museums in educational functions.Keywords: Museums, Object Tourism, Education Tourism

Abstract

In the past the function of the hotel was only as a place to stay for consumers who travel on business or tourism and do not have a relationship or family at their destination. Sharia concept hotels continue to grow along with the needs of Muslim consumers around the world. The concept of sharia hotels also continues to grow in Indonesia, especially in the Yogyakarta region as one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of price, service quality and brand image on customer loyalty of sharia hotels in Yogyakarta Special Region both partially and simultaneously.This type of research is causally comparative. The variables in this study are price, service quality, brand image and customer loyalty. The population in this study are customers who have visited sharia hotels in Yogyakarta. Sampling was done by nonrandom sampling, specifically using purposive sampling where the sample was taken from the population, with the following criteria: 1) Customers who had stayed in sharia hotels in Yogyakarta more than twice, and 2) Respondents aged 18 years. The sample in this study was taken as many as 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) Prices have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; (2) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; (3) Brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; and (4) Price, service quality, and brand image have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.Keywords: hotel, sharia, price, service quality, brand image, customer loyalty

Abstract

Selfie photo activity has a close effect on the development of one's life in creating self confidence and acculturation from the development of self-actualization which is the highest level of Abraham Maslow's Need theory. Selfie and social media in arts as form of existence are the right word to response upon the development of society. There is an issue would be discuss in this article; discuss about elements of arts existence, commodification of arts, and patterns of consumption. By using qualitative research methods to obtain effective research results in accordance with case studies of the development of the world of selfie tourism that cannot be controlled in line with the development of multimedia and the gadget era that is able to accelerate various information needs in the world of social communication media. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the development of agrotourism Kampoeng Kopi Banaran and to analyze employee performance in supporting the development of agritourism in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, in Semarang Regency. In particular the goal is to find out how management efforts in developing agritourism Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, management of human resources, employee performance in supporting the development of agrotourism.The study is mixed methods using 56 respondents as samples. While data analysis in this research using multiple regression analysis using F test and t test. The results of the data analysis of socio-demographic explain that influence on the performance showed that age, gender, education, family status, employment status and work experience positively affect employee performance. While F-test states that jointly age, gender, education, family status, employment status and work experience affect the performance. t test in this research shows there is no significant influence of gender on the performance, no significant influence of the family status on the performance. The conclusions of this study are that there is a positive and significant influence of socio-demographic on emplyoee performance and there is a positive and significant influence between employee performance against agrotourism understanding in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran.Keywords: Agrotourism, employee performance, the development of agrotourism
