Abstract

The Environmental Quality Index serves as an indicator for assessing the efficacy of environmental management and protection. It functions as a reference point for various stakeholders involved in evaluating the performance of environmental preservation efforts. The index's measurement is based on three key indicators: the Water Quality Index, Air Quality Index, and Land Cover Quality Index. This study is conducted with the primary goal of investigating the influence of Population, Human Development Index, Industrial Sector GRDP, and Poverty Level on the Provincial Environmental Quality Index across Java Island during the period of 2017 to 2021. Secondary data is employed for this research, utilizing panel data analysis techniques. The outcomes of this study reveal that the Human Development Index and Poverty Rate significantly impact the Environmental Quality Index. Conversely, the Total Population and Industrial Sector GRDP exhibit no significant influence on the Provincial Environmental Quality Index within Java Island for the years 2017 to 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain whether there exists a positive and significant impact of the Promotion Strategy on Consumer Interest in purchasing Toyota Innova cars at PT. Hadji Kalla's Sumoharjo Branch in Makassar City. The study encompasses two variables: the Promotion Strategy as the independent variable and Consumer Interest in purchasing a Toyota Innova as the dependent variable. The outcomes of the study reveal a simple linear regression equation as Y = 15.635 + 0.763X. The test results also yield a coefficient of determination (r) of 0.632, indicating that the Promotion Strategy influences Consumer Interest in Purchasing a Toyota Innova by 40%, while the remaining 60% is attributed to other factors not considered in this study. Moreover, the calculated t-value of 5.654 surpasses the t-critical value of 0.2353. This implies that the Promotion Strategy variable significantly and positively impacts consumer interest in purchasing a Toyota Innova. Thus, the hypothesis stands confirmed.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of PDCA and KPI on performance, describe performance improvement and identify the influence of KPI-based PDCA in measuring performance improvement of Athirah Islamic School Librarians. The methodology used in this research is a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach with a sample size of 29 people from non-probability sampling using a saturated sample method. The data collection used was questionnaires and documents with a Likert scale which were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis and performance measurement analysis. and validity, reliability, correlation and hypothesis tests were carried out. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis processing, it was found that the PDCA variable (X1) has t = 0.382 with a probability (sig-t) of 0.00 0.05. The same thing was also found in the KPI variable (X2) with a value of t = 0.515 and a probability (Sig-t) of 0.00 0.05. Thus the PDCA and KPI variables have a significant influence on Performance (Y). Apart from that, the Fcount analysis produces a value = 350.228 with a probability (sig-F) of 0.00 0.05. This shows that there is a significant simultaneous influence between the PDCA (X1) and KPI (X2) variables on Performance (Y). The management of Athirah Islamic School pays more attention to the implementation of KPI-based PDCA in improving performance and pays more attention to factors that are considered to have an influence on librarian performance, both internal and external factors, and it is recommended for other researchers to explore topics, variables and the development of scientific studies. so that in the future it will provide new studies.

Abstract

The development of a country requires special attention to Human Resources (HR) as the main element of development. This article aims to examine the influence of Population, Unemployment, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and Poverty on the Human Development Index (HDI) in Central Java Province for the 2018-2022 period. The research method used is quantitative with secondary data and uses a panel data approach. The data involves 29 districts and 6 cities in Central Java Province in the 2018-2022 period. The dependent variable is HDI, while the independent variables include Population, Unemployment, GRDP, and Poverty. Panel data regression analysis was carried out using the Common Effects Model (CEM), Fixed Effects Model (FEM), and Random Effects Model (REM) approaches, as well as the Chow test and Hausman test for selecting the best model. The research results show that population has a positive effect on HDI, because a large population creates economies of scale and increases people's purchasing power. Unemployment also has a positive influence on HDI, due to the existence of frictional unemployed who look for work according to their level of education. GRDP shows a positive and significant influence on HDI, in accordance with Kuznet's theory of economic growth. However, poverty does not have a significant effect on HDI. Future research is recommended to consider more independent variables and expand the research time span.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the scale of comparison of the value of exports and imports of Migas and non-Migas in Indonesia. The research time period is 10 years with a sample population of Indonesian export and import data. Data was obtained through the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and processed through descriptive qualitative methods and using economic line graphs. This research results in 1) The volume of Migas exports is on a stable scale, while the volume of non-Migas exports is on a more fluctuating scale and has a larger volume. 2) The volume of Migas imports is on a stable scale, while the volume of non-Migas imports is on a more fluctuating line and has a larger volume. 3) The value of Migas exports is on a stable scale, while the value of non-Migas exports fluctuates and increases and has a larger value. 4) The value of Migas imports is on a stable line scale, while the value of non-Migas imports fluctuates more and has a greater import value than Migas. Researchers concluded a suggestion that focuses on the government as the authority of international trade policy to further maximize policies related to the maximum value of exports rather than imports in order to maximize state revenue.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative research which aims to explore the implementation of transparency and accountability in the financial management of Village Fund allocations (ADD) in Pandai Village, Woha District, Bima Regency, in 2022. In the context of regional autonomy, the village government has the responsibility to independently manage the resources and funds provided to improve development and welfare of the community. This research uses primary and secondary data, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that Pandai Village has implemented the principles of accountability and transparency in all stages of ADD management, from planning to reporting. The application of the accountability principle involves responsibility and reporting, which has been implemented through an online system and monthly accountability reports submitted to the relevant agencies. This process involves all relevant agencies, the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and the village community. In the aspect of transparency, Pandai Village actively involves the community in planning through village meetings, where community participation is highly valued. In addition, the implementation of physical and non-physical activities funded by ADD is made open through information boards, billboards and quarterly accountability placed in front of the village office. The Pandai Village community is actively involved in every stage, from village deliberations to evaluating the implementation of activities. Thus, Pandai Village has succeeded in implementing transparency and accountability in ADD management, creating community involvement, and providing clear information regarding the use of village funds. The application of these principles is an important basis for realizing good governance at the village level..
