Abstract

The highest desirable behavior for the followers of Kejawen is, among others, exercise, exercise which in this case requires a routine training. Having a high mysticism can be more sensitive to feelings in overcoming and accepting conditions. But to have a high level of mysticism requires a special discipline of life and behavior to achieve this situation. In practicing self-discipline, a follower of Kejawen should often do Semedi. By meditation in this case it is a special behavior to train oneself to join oneself with Gusti. Before doing Semedi, you should realize the concept of the existence of the Three Realms in the human body. After knowing it, the Semedi training can be carried out to find the peak of success that will eventually be trained to have a sensitive and holy mind so that peace is felt.

Abstract

Asana is different from physical exercise which gives a burden to muscles but is an exercise that pays attention to relaxation and concentration. In this way, the endocrine glands, internal organs and muscles can also be used to perform their functions. Asana has physical and psychological influences that are useful in the recovery of various diseases. The path of āsana sadhana is a step in the eight stages of the Patanjali yoga sutra which is to make our body steady and firm for higher techniques before going to the level of pratyāhara. It turns out that āsanas are not only popular among Hindus, many are favored by other people, this proves that by doing āsana in daily life, the asanas are very beneficial for health life both physical, mental, muscular and social health. Yoga teaches calm in dealing with problems or conflicts that occur between individuals. Yoga is an implementation of ethics in philosophy. Yoga can answer the problem of what causes human happiness. Yoga can be used as an alternative treatment, usually done with breathing exercises, asanas poses and meditation.

Abstract

Mahavakya tat twam asi is contained in the chandogya upanisad 6.8.7 ?which means: you  are    it; You are all that; All beings are You. You are the beginning of jiwatman (spirit) and substance (prakrti) of all beings. Therefore my soul and your soul are single with the soul of all beings, and you are my source and the source of all beings. Therefore I am you, and vice versa. There are still a few Hindus who understand the meaning of Tat Twam Asi. Even though Tat Twam Asi is the Teachings of the similarity of Human Dignity or the Teachings of the Brotherhood. True, indeed all humans are brothers and sisters as a big family of the world, because the Atman of every human being is the same, namely the spark of the divine light of the Almighty God. Therefore there is also interpreting Tat Twam Asi as my Atman is your Atman, on the contrary your Atman is my Atman but there are also those who interpret Tat Twam Asi as the Doctrine of Compassion, where a large number of human beings must love one another, help each other and sharpen each other, love each other and fostering each other, so that life and human life become harmonious, safe, peaceful and peaceful.

Abstract

Jnana marga adalah suatu jalan menuju moksa dengan mempergunakan ilmu pengetahuan dan kebijaksanaan. Dalam Bhagavad Gita IV.33 dijelaskan bahwa orang yang mempersembahkan ilmu pengetahua, lebih mulia dari pada persembahan materi. Secara keseluruhan, semua kerja berpusat pada ilmu pengetahuan.Sivanada (1993:133-134) menyatakan bahwa jñanayoga merupakan  jalan pengetahuan.Dalam buku  Sri Svami Sivananda juga mengatakan bahwa Samsara adalah kekuatan yang berlangsung terus menerus dalam kehidupan, bahkan dari sudut pandang duniawi begitu banyak mimpi dan begitu banyak ambisi yang dikejar belum terpenuhi, kaum muda perlahan-lahan jatuh kedalam usia tua dan kelemahan, dan bara api harapan yang sulit dipahami semakin pudar dan melemah namun nyalanya tetap berkedip oleh sebuah harapan yang tipis bahwa mungkin dalam kelahiran berikutnya mimpi-mimpi itu mungkin dapat dipenuhi.Pengetahuan membawa kita ketempat dimana nafsu itu berhenti, a-kama, dimana semua keinginan terpenuhi, apta-kama, diman atman sajalah yang menjadi keinginan atma-kama .dia yang mengerti dirinya tidak akan memiliki keinginan. Ketika yang maha tinggi terlihat semua ikatan hati akan terputus, keragu-raguan akan lenyap dan akibat dari perbuatan kita terbasmi. Tidak aka nada penderitaan, kesakitan, atau ketakutan. Jiwa yang terbebas adalah seperti orang buta yang yang memperoleh pengelihatannya, orang sakit yang sempurna. Dia mencapai sukacita yang maha tinggi, yang bila diumpamakan dengan perumpamaan yang dangkal adalah layaknya kebahagian perkawinan. Dia bisa mencapai dunia mana saja yang dia cari. Hukum karma berlaku dalam dunia samsara dimana perbuatan kita akan menuntun kita kedalam tempat yang lebih tinggi atau lebih rendah dalam dunia waktu. Apabila kita memperoleh pengetahuan tentang kenyataan abadi brahmanatau atman perbuatan tidak lagi mempunyai ikatan terhadap kita. Keadaan hidup abadi dikatakan berada diluar kaidah baik buruk.

Abstract

The Vedic concepts gave birth to Balinese noble culture that is implemented through the teachings of karma mārga. The effort to preserve the culture cannot be separated from the teachings of Hinduism which originates to the teachings of karma mārga yoga. In Bungaya Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency there is a unique culture and full of creativity from young people. The culture is Tamlang Waluh tradition implemented by Teruna Desa. This tradition is unique because at the time of its execution, participants who follow the tradition pronounce words bojrag (porn) but has a deep meaning. The spoken word like “celi katuk”, based on the ethical view is inappropriate but based on the philosophical view that contains the meaning of the process of creation. The transformation of the teachings of karma mārga yoga in Tamlang Waluh tradition is the transformation of theology as the philosophical foundation of sujud bhakti before Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa trhough His manifestation as Purusa Pradana. Besides, improving the teachings of Susila (Ethics) is seen in the process of metinjakan that the younger generation is educated to always uphold the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha ie do not harm the opponent, do not speak harsh words, and do not hold a sense of resentment.

Abstract

Lontar Taru Pramana menguraikan obat-obatan alternatif dengan bahan tumbuh-tumbuhan. Disamping itu Lontar Taru Pramana bermanfaat untuk kesehatan. Pengobatan dengan obat berdasarkan Lontar Taru Pramana sangat murah karena tidak banyak mengeluarkan biaya, terjangkau bagi seluruh kalangan masyarakat. Bahan-bahan obat dapat diambil dari alam diramu secara mudah. Disamping itu meningkatnya obat alternatif memanfaatkan tumbuh-tumbuhan secara tidak langsung akan melestarikan tumbuhan-tumbuhan itu, dengan lestarinya tumbuhan-tumbuhan maka pelestarian lingkungan sebagai sumber kesehatan mahluk hidup akan meningkat, sebagaimana progam dari pemerintah. Ajaran pengobatan Taru Pramana, bahwa dalam Lontar Taru Pramana menjelaskan mitologi tumbuh-tumbuhan itu dapat berbicara dan menceritakan khasiat dirinya. Setiap tumbuh-tumbuhan menyatakan dirinya dapat menyembuhkan suatu penyakit tertentu, baik dengan daunnya bunganya, buahnya, kulitnya, akarnya, bahkan kayunya. Fungsi Tumbuh-Tumbuhan Sebagai Bahan Pengobatan, disebutkan bahwa dalam Taru Pramana semua tumbuh-tumbuhan menyatakan dirinya dapat dijadikan obat ketika ia dicampur dengan tumbuh-tumbuhan yang lainnya dengan presentase tertentu. Setiap campuran ada dengan cara dihaluskan kemudian ditambah dengan air lalu diminum dipakaikan jamu. Adapun tujuan pelestarian tumbuh-tumbuhan disamping sebagai bahan obat adalah juga menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem dalam kehidupan serta melestarikan keanekaragaman hayati yang bermanfaat bagi ilmu pengetahuan dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Yoga is union. Unification between the individual soul and the universal soul. Unite the body with mind and mind with the soul. Knowledge of yoga can help to maintain the purity of soul by doing movements or poses on his body. Sirsasana pose is one of the poses that can be used for many people whose work is mostly spent behind a desk or computer. By working behind a desk or computer, someone will spend hours and sitting and keeping his body awake. In addition to maintaining the natural functions of the pelvis and lower back, the sitting position in yoga also has to do with training at a more advanced level. The word ?asana? can actually be interpreted literally as sitting. And from a certain perspective, all asana exercises can be seen as a methodical way to free the spine, legs and breathing, so that yoga practitioners can be in a sitting position for a long time.

Abstract

Leadership determines the success of an organization in achieving organizational goals.  Karma yoga is a service attitude practiced by everyone as a leader for himself and organization to provide the best service to others and organization.  The application of karma yoga as the service attitude of life taught in the Bhagavad Gita is really important to be studied relevant to the leadership of organization in modern era. The servant leadership described by Greenleaf is closely related to karma yoga as a service attitude by leader in organization, which aims to serve sincerely by dedicating service to god.  Karma yoga is depicted in Mahabharata as a patient and loving attitude, courageus and responsible, diligent and learner, honest and loyal. Karma yoga constitutes the basic for the servant leadership to realize organizational goals.

Abstract

Bhagavad Gita merupakan hakekat segala pengetahuan Veda dan salah satu diantara Upanisad-upanisad yang paling penting dalam kesusastraan Veda. Bhagavad Gita juga menyatakan bahwa yoga merupakan suatu keadaan yang bebas dari penderitaan dan kesedihan. Dalam bhagawad gita & kitab upanisad; jiva  dalam kondisi dosa & keduniawian adalah disebabkan karena hidup terpisah dan terasing dari roh tertinggi untuk menaklukan sifat jahat dalam diri kita dianjurkan untuk melaksanakan yoga. Agar lepas dari penderitaan dan dosa kita harus mencapai  persatuan spiritual persatuan jivatman dengan paratma atman identik dengan kebahagian eternal. Kebahagiaan merupakan cita-cita manusia hidup di dunia, tidak seorangpun bercita-cita menderita. Ada kebahagiaan ragawi/duniawi.  Ada kebahagiaan spiritual/rohani. Ada ingin keduanya (lahir & bathin).

Abstract

Anatomy is a field of knowledge that studies the structure of the human body. A good understanding of anatomy and its relationship to asanas is essential so that yoga practitioners can keep their body safe, comfortable and the mind remains stable. Yoga has an integrated working principle in the human body. An important element that distinguishes yoga practice with other exercises is the linkage of breath, posture and movement. By the yogis, they are based on the concept of prana and apana; sthira and sukha; brahmana and laghana; and sukha and dukha. The flow of breath is associated with prana and apana, postural stability associated with sthira and sukha, and sukhaduhka and movements associated with brahmana and laghana.
