Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internship experience on interest in a career in the hotel industry. The population of this study were students of the XYZ hotel school. The method used is quantitative using SPSS for data processing. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires randomly. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique with a quota sampling technique. In this study analyze the correlation, coefficient of determination and Simple Linear Regression to examine the effect and answer the hypothesis in this study. The result of this research is Internship Experience has a significant effect on Career Interest. The researcher suggests that universities expand their relationship with industry so that suitable internships are available for students to develop their skills, so that it will lead to self-confidence for a career in the hotel industry

Abstract

This research is important to know the development strategy of Bukit Tinatar in the era of adaptation of new habits in Yogyakarta. In addition, in Bukit Tinatar there is still a lot of potential that must be developed again by adjusting to the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently being experienced by the world. In this study the authors used qualitative research methods. The qualitative method according to Sugiyono (2017) is a descriptive research method that tends to use analytical methods, this method has a theoretical basis and can be used for better understanding, so that it can focus research based on what happened during observations. The results showed that Bukit Tinatar had several weaknesses, namely the lack of supporting facilities such as stall toilets and gazebos and inadequate road access and the lack of street lighting to get to the location. Therefore, it is necessary to make improvements and improvements so as not to make it difficult for tourists who come. In terms of further improving in terms of promotion which of course can use existing social media such as Instagram, Facebook, websites or other platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the discourse on increasing entrance tickets to Borobudur Temple on the interest of visiting tourists and the number of bookings for travel services. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection material, which is then analyzed by multiple linear regression method using SPSS 26 software. The independent variable used is the discourse on increasing entrance tickets to the Borobudur Temple tourist area, as well as interest in visiting tourists and booking travel services as the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that the discourse of increasing entrance tickets to Borobudur Temple has a negative influence on tourist interest in visiting and the number of bookings for travel services. it is proven that there is a positive and significant influence on the discourse on the increase in ticket prices on the interest of tourists visiting Borobudur Temple. In addition, it is proven that there is a positive and significant influence on the variable about the increase in ticket prices on booking travel services.

Abstract

The development of sustainable tourism are efforts made by the government in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, in addition to the implementation of various non-pharmaceutical intervention policies. The green hotels concept emerged as an alternative that could be applied by accommodation providers in an effort to develop sustainable tourism. This study aims to analyze the dimensions of the Green Hotel concept and impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions on the application of green hotel concept at Sarinbuana Eco Lodge. A qualitative approach was done by conducting interviews with employees and management as well as observations. The data were analyzed using qualitative analysis using three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Green hotel concept has been implemented by several aspects such as environmentally management and hotel operations, environmentally land management, energy efficiency, water conservation, efficient use of building materials, local and products, air quality for health and control of convenience and waste management. The impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions in this ecolodge consists of several things, namely cancellation of guest arrivals, adjustment of employee work schedules, arrangement of guest activities during their stay at the ecolodge, temporary management carried out by the ecolodge owner's family. Management will improving the green hotel concept in hotel operational.

Abstract

Sharia lodging is a lodging sector business adapted to sharia principles in providing facilities and services. This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Concept of Hotel Sharia Principles. The method used is Literature Review using the Atlantis Press, Emerald, Taylor & Francis database and a search engine from Google Scholar. A literature search using predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Extraction using PRISMA Flow Diagram. The research results were obtained from the extraction data from 96 articles to 9 articles. There are 4 themes, namely sharia hotel standards, Blue Ocean strategy, the concept of blessing, and Corporate social responsibility. the application of Sharia hotels is by Islamic economic values, namely following the principles of monotheism, justice, mashlahah, ta'awun and balance. Sharia hotels are needed to support the halal industry and facilitate the needs of Muslim tourists in traveling.

Abstract

One of the efforts in measuring the amount of ecotourism potential is by conducting a series of academic processes in the form of inventory and assessment of ecotourism potential or better known as ecotourism assessment. The Ecotourism Potential Evaluation method used is the theory of Avenzora (2008) to distinguish 7 assessment criteria for each element of ecotourism potential, which is then analyzed using the One Score One Criteria System method. The results of the study show that the Sungsang Ecotourism Area has a relatively high potential for eco-nature tourism and eco-culture tourism; both in terms of the potential for natural phenomena, flora and fauna, as well as material & immaterial heritage.  The results of field studies prove that the various eco-nature tourism owned by the Sungsang Ecotourism Area is classified as relatively high (score 5); while eco-culture tourism is producing a score of 6 or high meaning. There are at least 4 syntheses that can be done in the future: 1) The plan for utilization of ecotourism resources that must be able to avoid the occurrence of over-supply dynamics in the ecotourism supply process; 2) The plan to utilize the diversity of ecotourism resources that should not cause over-exploration or over-exploitation of germplasm or ecosystems; 3) The need for study and application of the carrying capacity of recreation / tourism sites and the carrying capacity of recreation/ tourism destinations; 4) A more comprehensive, systematic and objective study is needed which is mapped and outlined in the Grand Design Document or Ecotourism Master Plan).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah Bali Paragon Resort Hotel dapat meningkatkan pendapatan melalui tren wisata staycation ini. Bali Paragon Resort Hotel merupakan salah satu pelaku wisata terutama pihak penyewa akomodasi yang memanfaatkan tren wisata yang baru ini, yaitu tren wisata staycation untuk ditawarkan dan dijual kepada konsumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bali Paragon Resort Hotel dengan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dari 10 orang responden yaitu staff front office dan sales department yang direkrut melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Strategi pemasaran yang digunakan Bali Paragon Resort Hotel dalam meningkatkan pendapatan di masa pandemi Covid-19 melalui pemasaran staycation, serta (2) Paket wisata staycation Bali Paragon Resort Hotel dalam memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan di Bali. Dimana dari kedua hasil penelitian tersebut Bali Paragon Resort Hotel dapat memaksimalkan strategi pemasaran yang digunakan melalui ulasan dari wisatawan untuk dapat meningkatkan pendapatan di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment (CHSE) dalam pelayanan di Blackmud Lounge Bar selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan observasi dalam pengumpulan data. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga karyawan di Blackmud Lounge Bar di Bali Paragon Resort Hotel, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan CHSE dalam pelayanan di restoran tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CHSE dalam pelayanan di Blackmud Lounge Bar telah dilaksanakan sesuai prosedur serta aturan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Penerapan tersebut menyangkut lima indikator kualitas jasa yaitu Responsiveness, Tangible, Empathy, Realiability, Assurance dalam memberikan layanan makanan dan minuman kepada wisatawan di  Blackmud Lounge Bar selama masa pandemi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji : (1) pengaruh kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan serta harga terhadap loyalitas pelanggan di Kedai Kebab Turkey Telaga Mas, Karangaseem (2) pengaruh kualitas produk terhadap loyalitas pelanggan di Kedai Kebab Turkey Telaga Mas, Karangasem, (3) pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan di Kedai Kebab Turkey Telaga Mas, Karangasem dan (4) pengaruh harga terhadap loyalitas pelanggan di Kedai Kebab Turkey Telaga Mas, Karangasem baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif kausal. Jumlah responden yang digunakan sebanyak 150 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan serta harga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan  . (2) Kualitas produk berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. (3) Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. (4) Harga berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan kepuasan pelanggan serta strategi yang bisa diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan restoran. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data penelitian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Manager Food and Beverage Service, Assistant Manager Food and Beverage Service, Supervisor dan Staff Food and Beverage Service Hotel The Laguna Resort and SPA Nusa Dua, Bali. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Faktor penurunan kepuasan pelanggan dapat terbagi menjadi dua faktor yakni faktor internal seperti kualitas makanan dan minuman, kualitas pelayanan, minat kerja dan kesiapan karyawan, kebersihan, hygiene dan sanitasi, lokasi restoran, harga dan kemudahan serta faktor eksternal seperti kompetitor sejenis dan pelanggan yang penuh akal (2) Strategi yang dapat diambil pihak restoran dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan adalah strategi peningkatan kualitas makanan dan minuman, strategi peningkatan sumber daya manusia, dan strategi manajemen waktu. Dari hasil penelitian ini mungkin dibutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai strategi dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan restoran dalam ruang lingkup yang lebih luas.
