Abstract

This study was to describe the implementation of moral theology lesson on the formation of character. This study aims to reveal the problems of implementing learning moral theology to the character formation of students facing the teacher, as well as descriptions of the description of the planning, implementation and evaluation of the problems faced by teachers of moral theology. Collecting data using observation technique, interview, and documentation. Processing data using qualitative techniques. This technique is used unyuk dariobservasi process data, interviews and documentation. The results showed that 1) the implementation of character education on planning subjects still characterize moral theology lesson planning and lesson planning has yet to show character. 2) Implementation of the implementation is still conventional. Character education learning in every learning still appoint the same pattern between the first and subsequent learning even planting code execution just is not relevant to the material that is taught by a teacher of the moral theology. Implementation of character education at the stage of the evaluation has been done, however, only use one technique that observation.

Abstract

The research was quantitative research associative. Associative research is research that aims to determine the relationship of two or more variables. There are two variables in this study, the independent variable is the discipline of work and the dependent variable is the performance of teachers. The population in this study are all teachers and MI MI Al Islam Al Ihsan Medari which amounted to 26 teachers. The method used is direct questionnaire method, where a list of questions given directly and specifically to the teacher. The result of this reasearch that work discipline is very positive and significant impact on teacher performance in MI Al Ihsan Medari. Seen from the t_value (variable X - Y (7.450> 2.262). Of the value of R Square looks massive contribution of 0.686 or 68.9% variable teacher performance can be explained by the variable work discipline, while the rest (100% -68.9% = 31.1%) influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

This study was conducted, first, analyzed to determine the learning styles of students excel in Mathematics and Science subjects in class XI SMAN 1 and MAN 1 Yogyakarta by applying the theory of David Kolb's learning style. Second, to predict the differences and similarities of learning styles of students achievement in learning Mathematics Class XI SMAN 1 and MAN 1 Yogyakarta. 18 research subjects were drawn from students of class XI. Determining the subject of research is done by using purposive sampling technique that refers to the result of the average value of UTS Mathematics which is the third highest of any class. The results showed that: (1). Students' learning styles achievement in Mathematics and Science subjects in class XI SMA N 1 and MAN 1 Yogyakarta is varied. This is evidenced by the results if the data obtained show that the student has a unique learning style of each and likely to lead to the individual's personality. Based on the analysis of student learning styles achievement shows that students SMA N 1 Yogyakarta been the subject of much research as 4 students have a learning style Assimilator, 3 students have learning styles Konverger, one student has a learning style Akomodator and one student has a learning style Diverger again. While students perform at MAN 1 Yogyakarta who is the subject of research, as many as four people have Akomodator learning styles, each two students have learning styles Assimilator and Diverger, then one student again has a learning style Konverger. (2). Differences in learning styles that happens is the individual habits that become unique to them. Students perform at SMA N 1 Yogyakarta dominates the Assimilator learning styles, while students of MAN 1 Yogyakarta dominates the Akomodator learning styles.

Abstract

Abstract This paper is a field research (Action Research) intended to know and to describe the implementation of the profession tithe (zakat) for Civil State Apparatus especially educators/teachers and educational employees of MAN Wonosari and the improvement of the motivation to get achievements and to live on their own feet for mustahiq/the receivers of the tithe in MAN Wonosari. The method of the data collection used interviews and documentation. As for the data analysis, it used qualitative description which is supported by quantitative data in the form of a table. The results of the research showed that the management of the profession tithe from the givers of tithe/muzakki which in this case are the educators and the educational employees especially ASN in MAN Wonosari run professionally both in the collection and the distribution. This is proved by the increase of the tithe givers and the extent of the distribution area both for the students of MAN Wonosari and the School environment. There are three categories who receive the tithe, those are 1) The poor students who live very far from school and the students who stay in the boarding school. 2) The poor students who live far from school and the private employees of school. 3) The poor students who live near school, the mosque boards and the religion teacher who live in Gunungkidul region. Abstrak Tulisan ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (Action Research) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan zakat profesi bagi Aparatur Sipil Negara khususnya Pendidik/guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan MAN Wonosari dan peningkatan motivasi berprestasi dan berdikari bagi mustahiq/penerima zakat profesi di MAN Wonosari. Metode pencarian data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis datanya menggunakan diskriptif kualitatif yang didukung dengan data kuantitatif dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan zakat profesi dari muzakki yang dalam hal ini adalah Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan khususnya ASN di MAN Wonosari baik dari pengumpulan maupun pentasyarupannya bagi mustahiq secara professional. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan pembayar zakat dan luasnya jangkauan mustahiq sebagai daerah pemerataan pembagian baik bagi siswa MAN Wonosari maupun lingkungan sekitar atau masyarakatberupa bantuan dana zakat yang disetorkannya dan dibagi kepada mustahiq dengan tiga kategori, yaitu (1) kelompok I bagi siswa tidak mampu dan berdomisili sangat jauh dari madrasah, serta yang tinggal di asrama boarding school MAN Wonosari; (2) kelompok II bagi siswa tidak mampu dan berdomisili jauh dari madrasah dan untuk zakat produkti bagi PTT Madrasah; dan (3) kelompok III bagi siswa yang kurang mampu dan berdomisili dekat dengan madrasah serta pengurus masjid, guru ngaji yang ada di lingkungan wilayah Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Abstract

Abstract This Oversight Action Research intends to determine whether the competence of teachers in MTs Muhammadiyah Wonosari can be improved through training. This study uses a model developed by Chemish and Taggart noting every action or cycle always consists of four activities: (1) the action plan, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This study shows that the training has increased professional competence of teachers at MTS Muhammadiyah Wonosari in preparing for the lesson plan. In the first cycle, the average score obtained is 57,5% meaning sufficient. Having held the training in the second cycle, the average score of the research subjects increased by 24, resulted in the average score obtained 91,0%, meaning changing from sufficient to excellence. The study concludes that training activities can enhance the competence of teachers in preparing their lesson plan at the MTs Muhammadiyah Wonosari. Abstrak Penelitian Tindakan Pengawasan (PTP) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kompetensi guru pada MTs Muhammadiyah Wonosari dapat ditingkatkan melalui kegiatan Pelatihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemis dan Taggart. Setiap tindakan atau siklus selalu terdiri dari empat kegiatan: 1) rencana tindakan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi atau Penelitian, dan 4) refleksi. Dari kegiatan penelitian ini dikatehui bahwa terjadi peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru MTS Muhammadiyah Wonosari dalam menyusun RPP melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Pada siklus I rata-rata skor yang diperoleh 57,5% dengan sebutan cukup. Setelah diadakan kegiatan dengan pendekatan pelatihan pada siklus II ternyata rata-rata skor yang diperoleh oleh subjek penelitian naik 24 skor, sehingga rata-rata skor yang diperoleh 91,0%. Dari sebutan cukup menjadi sangat baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan kegiatan pelatihan dapat peningkatkan kompetensi guru MTs Muhammadiyah Wonosari dalam menyusun RPP. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to find out how to increase student motivation to learn the SKI lesson. In addition, this research will also reveal the extent of student’s learning motivation affect achievement of students. This research is a classroom action research, which has four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The sample used in this study is the students of class XII-IPA 1 MAN Yogyakarta III. In this classroom action research the researcher uses a strategy of "gubah lagu". The observed aspect is an observation of the students changes including the student activeness, the change of learning process atmosphere, the student learning outcomes, and the changes of the teacher self in implementing the learning equipped by observation sheet on each aspect. The results show that the implementation of the strategy ”gubah lagu” in the lesson SKI can increase students' learning motivation. The increasing of student motivation begins looks at the first cycle in the second meeting until the end of the second cycle in the second meeting. This can be known from an observation of the students performed by collaborators. The increasing of the student’s learning motivation also affects the learning outcomes of students. It can be known from the results of the evaluation conducted during the pre-test and post-test at the end of each cycle. During pre-test it is only 42, 9% of students who achieved the KKM. Then post-test results of the first cycle showed an increase in students who reached the KKM is 61.1%, and post test results of the second cycle as much as 81.1% of students reached the KKM. And these results are in accordance with the indicators of success in this study. Keywords: Learning Motivation, “Gubah Lagu” Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik terhadap pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan mengungkap sejauh mana motivasi belajar peserta didik berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research), yang memiliki empat tahap yaitu; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII-IPA 1 MAN Yogyakarta III. Dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini peneliti menggunakan strategi “gubah lagu”. Aspek yang diamati adalah pengamatan terhadap perubahan pada diri peserta didik yang meliputi keaktifan peserta didik, perubahan pada suasana proses pembelajaran, hasil belajar peserta didik, dan perubahan pada diri guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan dilengkapi lembar observasi pada masing-masing aspek. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan strategi “gubah lagu” dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik mulai terlihat di siklus I pada pertemuan kedua, sampai akhir siklus II pada pertemuan kedua. Peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik juga berpengaruh pada hasil belajar peserta didik, hal ini dilihat dari hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan pada saat pre-test dan post-test pada setiap akhir siklus. Pada saat pre-test baru 42,9% peserta didik yang mecapai nilai KKM, kemudian hasil post-test siklus I menunjukan adanya peningkatan peserta didik yang mencapai nilai KKM yaitu 61,1%, dan hasil post-test siklus II sebanyak 81,1% peserta didik mencapai nilai KKM. Dan hasil ini sudah sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Gubah Lagu

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to improve the competence of teachers in the learning and insight especially in academic competence in the form of drafting and developing a syllabus. Is the research school action (Action Research) through the steps of planning (planning), actions (acting), observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting) that carried out these forces cycle to repeat some of the cycle at least two cycles. Research involves classroom teacher at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah three MI se-Semanu district. The development of the syllabus is very important done by the teacher before you start learning or learning activities initiated in one semester so that students or parents of students to have signs in the following learning which has been meant by the teacher is included in the evaluation study and follow-up so that learning goals can be achieved. The observations showed that the teacher was found still less understand completely how to devise the syllabus because it just did a copy and paste results of downloading from the internet. Of the 12 teachers as the subject obtained three teachers who got less than 50, while 9 teachers have earned above the limit completely. This means 75% of teachers have been able to devise and develop syllabus correctly. Keywords: Increased Competence Of Pedagogy, Academic Competence, Syllabus, Collaborative Supervision Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan wawasan guru dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam kompetensi akademik berupa menyusun dan mengembangkan silabus. Merupakan penelitian tindakan sekolah (Action Research) yang melalui langkah-langkah dari perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), observasi (observing) dan refleksi (reflecting) yang dilakukan secara bersiklus hingga berulang beberapa siklus minimal dua siklus. Penelitian melibatkan guru kelas MI di tiga Madrasah Ibtidaiyah se-Kecamatan Semanu. Pengembangan silabus sangat penting dilakukan oleh guru sebelum memulai pembelajaran maupun mengawali kegiatan pembelajaran dalam satu semester agar siswa maupun orang tua siswa mempunyai rambu-rambu dalam mengikuti pembelajaran yang telah direncakan oleh guru termasuk dalam evaluasi pembelajaran dan tindak lanjut sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa masih ditemukan guru yang kurang mengerti sepenuhnya cara menyusun silabus karena hanya melakukan copy paste hasil mengunduh dari internet. Dari 12 guru sebagai subjek penelitian didapatkan ada 3 guru yang mendapat nilai kurang dari 50, sedangkan 9 guru telah mendapatkan nilai di atas batas tuntas. Hal ini berarti 75% guru telah mampu menyusun dan mengembangkan silabus dengan benar. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik, Kompetensi Akademik, Silabus, Supervisi Kolaboratif.

Abstract

Abstract By using the Consciousness-Raising Method, we attempt to draw the students’ curiosity and attention in learning English especially in writing English. The Consciousness-Raising Method, in writing English emphasizes the teacher and student’s awareness, consciousness and intention to the writing process. The point is that the teacher in the class must be helpful to make the students aware of the mistakes they have made. Moreover, the teacher must help the students to gradually gain insight into how a language works. By using the Consciousness-Raising Method, it means the teacher and students ‘analyse’, ‘compare’, reflect’, ‘comprehend’, and ‘write’. This study shows that the Consciousness-Raising Method guides to improve students’ ability in writing English. By applying this method, the ability of students to compose English descriptive texts is gradually increasing. Keywords: Writing Skill, Consciousness-Raising, English Language Abstrak Dengan menerapkan metode Consciousness-Raising (C-R), penulis ingin mencoba membangkitkan rasa ingin tahu dan perhatian siswa saat belajar Bahasa Inggris terutama belajar menulis paragraf Bahasa Inggris. Metode C-R menekankan kesadaran dan perhatian siswa dan guru dalam proses menulis secara bertahap. Hal terpenting adalah bahwa guru di dalam kelas harus siap membantu siswa agar memberi perhatian lebih terhadap kesalahan penulisan yang mereka buat. Lebih jauh lagi, guru harus siap membantu siswa memahami dengan sesungguhnya bagaimana setiap elemen bahasa itu bekerja. Dengan menggunakan metode C-R, artinya siswa menganalisa, merefleksi, memahami, dan menulis kembali. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini memperlihatkan bahwa metode C-R mengarahkan siswa dalam menulis dan kemudian membuat kemampuan siswa untuk menulis sedikit demi sedikit meningkat. Abstract

Abstract The learning process in fact directed to membelajarkan students in order to achieve the objectives that have been determined. These goals can succeed in everything related to the learning process are arranged in advance in Learning implementation plan (RPP). This school action research aims to improve the competence of educators in drawing up the implementation plan (RPP) Learning through academic supervision. This research includes research actions are realized in the cycle. Each cycle has always been through four stages: 1) action plan implementation, 2), 3) obeservasi, or 4) observations, and reflections. The subject of this study 23 people educators MI se-Sub Paliyan, Gunungkidul. Technique of data analysis performed with diskriptif analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the competence of educators-educators MI in drawing up the RPP held increased after coaching by supervisors through academic supervision. On the initial observations (pre cycle) obtained an average score of 53.9% (less). After held coaching at 1st cycle of obtaining an average score of 68.7%. Construction resumed in the second cycle, and obtained an average score of 81%. Because it has been a significant increase in competence occurs on Small-scale se-MI educators Subdistrict Paliyan, then there needs to be continued construction in the 3rd cycle. Finally it can be concluded that the school's action research related to the improvement of the competence of educators in drawing up the RPP on the Small-scale Sub se-MI Paliyan through academic supervision can be increased. Tujuan tersebut bisa berhasil apabila segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan proses pembelajaran disusun terlebih dahulu dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Penelitian tindakan sekolah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) melalui supervisi akademik. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan yang diwujudkan dalam siklus. Setiap siklus selalu melalui empat tahapan: 1) rencana tindakan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) obeservasi atau pengamatan, dan 4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini 23 orang pendidik MI se-Kecamatan Paliyan, Gunungkidul. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis diskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pendidik-pendidik MI dalam menyusun RPP meningkat setelah diadakan pembinaan oleh pengawas melalui supervisi akademik. Pada pengamatan awal (pra siklus) diperoleh skor rata-rata 53,9% (kurang). Setelah diadakan pembinaan pada siklus ke-1 perolehan skor rata-rata 68,7%. Pembinaan dilanjutkan pada siklus ke-2, dan diperoleh skor rata-rata 81%. Karena telah terjadi peningkatan kompetensi yang signifikan pada pendidik MI Binaan se-Kecamatan Paliyan, maka tidak perlu dilanjutkan pembinaan pada siklus ke-3. Akhirnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian tindakan sekolah yang terkait dengan peningkatan kompetensi pendidik dalam menyusun RPP pada MI Binaan se-Kecamatan Paliyan melalui supervisi akademik dapat meningkat. Abstract

Abstract The research aims to develop the Arabic teaching materials for new students of State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The background of this research is the role of Language Development Center (P2B) which do not implement foreign language learning in general as before, but only focused on achieving value IKLA and TOEC and began the Academic Year 2015/2016 foreign language learning both Arabic and English refunded to the faculty. This research was conducted at the Center for Language Development State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga by 100 sample of students by using probability sampling techniques. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that the response of students to the textbooks in Arabic based on integration-interconnection for new students UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta on the learning aspect 4.045 (good), the aspect of the content materials 4,125 (good), the aspect views 3,975 (good), and aspects of the presentation of 4,095 (good). Keywords: Teaching Material, Arabic Teaching, Integration-Interconection Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Bahasa Arab yang diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa baru UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya peran Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa (P2B) yang tidak lagi melaksanakan pembelajaran bahasa asing secara umum seperti sebelumnya, melainkan hanya terpusat pada pencapaian nilai IKLA dan TOEC dan mulai Tahun Akademik 2015/2016 pembelajaran bahasa asing baik bahasa Arab maupun bahasa Inggris dikembalikan ke fakultas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa UIN Sunan Kalijaga dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 100 mahasiswa yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil respon mahasiswa terhadap buku ajar bahasa Arab berbasis integrasi-interkoneksi bagi mahasiswa baru UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta pada aspek pembelajaran 4,045 (baik), aspek isi/materi 4,125 (baik), aspek tampilan 3,975 (baik) dan aspek penyajian 4,095 (baik).
