Abstract

This study aims to determine the dominant factors related to physical fitness in terms of screen time, daily physical activity, and the nutritional status of students. The research method used is descriptive research with a non-experimental quantitative approach. This research is ex post facto. The research was conducted at SMAN 2 Pasuruan with a total of 282 respondents consisting of 111 males and 171 females. The respondents were all tenth graders consisting of majors in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Social Studies, and Cultural Language. The data analysis technique used in this study used chi square and multivariate linear regression analysis. The results of the study using bivariate analysis revealed that screen time and nutritional status did not have a significant relationship to the level of physical fitness, while physical activity had a significant relationship to the level of physical fitness. Multivariate analysis resulted that simultaneously screen time, physical activity, and nutritional status had a significant relationship to the level of physical fitness with an alpha value of 0,000 and physical activity was the dominant factor associated with the level of physical fitness as evidenced by an alpha value of 0,000 and a beta value of 0,4.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the Small Sided Games (SSG) and Rondo exercises on the accuracy of passing on the players of the Futsal club Aldifa Banjarmasin. The experimental method used in this research is the "Two Group Pre-test and Post-test Design" research design. The sample in this study amounted to 20 people with a sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The treatment grouping was done using MSOP (Match Subject Ordinal Pairing). The research instrument used the development of a test instrument to measure football ability which was adopted from DR. Norbert Rogalski and DR. Ernst Dagel. Data analysis in this study used prerequisite tests which included normality and homogeneity tests. The data obtained from the initial test and final test of graduation accuracy that have gone through the prerequisite test stage are followed by hypothesis testing using the t-test. The value of the SSG group hypothesis test was obtained (6,678 > 2,262), while the rondo group hypothesis test was obtained (2,372 > 2,262). Thus from these results prove that there is a significant effect of each of these exercises. The results of the t-test were obtained (1.310 < 2.101), thus the results of the t-test showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups. However, if it is seen from the number of differences in the average posttest of the group where the SSG is 6.80 while Rondo is 5.90, so it has a difference of 0.900 which is higher in the SSG group. So these results prove that the two training methods in this study have the same effect, but the SSG group has a better effect in terms of passing accuracy compared to Rondo training on Aldifa Banjarmasin futsal club players.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine the profile of Heart Rate Recovery (HRR) after conducting Exercise Maximal (EM) using speed tests, namely sprints, quantitative research methods while the research sample was 86 male student athletes consisting of 5 athletic athletes, 17 volleyball athletes, 22 hockey athletes, 15 roller skating athletes, 15 beach volleyball athletes and 3 court tennis athletes. the first data collection participants performed a sprint speed test of 30m. Furthermore, HRR is measured using the Polar type H10 tool using the Polar Team monitor system. Furthermore, HRR is recorded at minutes 1,2,3,4, and 5 shortly after doing maximum exercise. Furthermore, by using the paired t-test and friedman's test to see the significance of the difference in values every minute. Furthermore, to get a poor heart rate recovery profile, a calculation of ΔHRR with a maximum heart rate (HR) is carried out. the results showed a significant difference in HRR values of 1, 2, and 3 χ2F (2) = 170.02, p<0.001 using friedman's test. significant differences were also found in hrr values 4 and 5 using paired sample t-test HRR 4 (Mean=104.07, SD=8.838) and HRR 5 (Mean=95.35, SD=7.232) under conditions; t(85)=15.618, p=0.000. furthermore, in order for the difference in HRR to be meaningful, further tests were carried out by looking for Δ HRR1,2,3,4, and 5 with HRmaximal and obtained the values of ΔHRR 1 19.18±6.6, then in order Δ HRR 2: 29.45±7.10, Δ HRR 3: 38.06±6.88, Δ HRR 4:43.72±5.54, and ΔHRR 5:48.44±4.67. In this study, it can be proven that the HRR profile in student athletes can be used as an indicator of athletes' readiness to receive and participate in training programs.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal what makes students not proficient in swimming courses. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with in-depth interview method. The population in this study were all 2nd semester students of the Sports Coaching Education Study Program who took part in the TP course contract. Swimming amounted to 58 students. The research sample was selected based on the Snowball Sampling technique, which had a sample of 8 students. The instrument in this study used an interview guide consisting of 10 questions about physical and psychological conditions during swimming courses. Result: Five students stated that their pulse was still normal. One student is sometimes normal, sometimes not. Two students stated that there was an increase in pulse rate. Five students stated that there was no problem with a history of injury. Three students stated that there are injuries that often recur. Seven students stated that there was no specific trauma in swimming. One student has a special trauma in swimming. Six students felt fine in their physical condition. One student did not know. One student felt his physical condition was not fine. All students did not feel nauseous during swimming courses. All research subjects felt difficulty in following the exemplified movements. Six students are interested in swimming lessons. Two students are not interested in swimming lessons, but want to be able to swim. Four students admitted that they did not feel restless in swimming lessons. Four students feel restless in swimming lessons. All research subjects feel worried and afraid of the depth of the water. All subjects feel happy in taking swimming courses. The conclusion is that sports students who are not proficient in swimming just need to be encouraged and motivated to be even more enthusiastic in learning swimming.

Abstract

This study aims to determine which is the effect of the more effective exercise between exercises using ankle weights and rubber resistance on increasing Mawashi Geri's kick speed at Karateka Dojo Wadokai, Gorontalo Province. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a two group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study amounted to 12 Karateka Dojo Wadokai, Gorontalo Province, all of which were samples in this study, then divided into two groups, namely the ankle weight and rubber resistance groups with six samples taken at random in each group. The research instrument used Mawashi Geri kicks by kicking as many targets as possible using the strongest leg for 30 seconds. As a result, this study found that exercise using ankle weights had an average increase of 21% greater than rubber resistance which only had an average percentage of 19%. This study concludes that exercise using ankle weights and rubber resistance can increase Mawashi Geri's kick speed for Karateka Dojo Wadokai, Gorontalo Province.

Abstract

Knowledge related to the process of providing first aid and early injury prevention during PJOK learning activities (sports) is an important thing that needs to be known. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the GSM application model and analyze the feasibility of an Android-based GSM application in understanding sports massage and injury prevention for PJOK teachers. Data collection techniques in this study used product validation sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative data analyzed by descriptive statistics. The subjects of this study were PJOK teachers throughout Surabaya who were divided into small groups of 15 people and large groups of 35 people. The results of the small group trial include 3 aspects of the assessment in the form of aspects of appearance, aspects of content/material, aspects of usefulness. The display aspect with a total score of 20 is in the “Good Enough” category, the content/material aspect with a total score of 38.6 is in the “Good enough” category, and the usefulness aspect with a total score of 15.3 is in the “Good” category. The results of the large group trial of the display aspect with a total score of 24 including the "Good" category, the content/material aspect with a total score of 49.8 including the "Good" category, and the usefulness aspect getting a score of 17 including the "Very Good" category. The conclusion in this study is that an Android-based application (GSM) in understanding sports massage and injury prevention is appropriate for PJOK teachers.
