Abstract

Islamic education in the digital era demands innovation in teaching methods. This research aims to develop an interactive E-Book "Quranic Quest" which is specifically designed to help students in reciting and reviewing Surah At-Tin in grade 4 elementary school. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning needs to be updated innovatively because so far it feels monotonous and tends to be boring for students. Traditionally, PAI lessons often only focus on teaching religious doctrines, without providing a deep and comprehensive understanding of the material presented. This research focuses on developing more interactive and interesting learning methods to increase students' understanding of PAI material. In this case, researchers used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Through the use of digital technology, the Quranic Quest E-Book includes various interactive features such as quizzes, simulations and animations to strengthen student understanding. Apart from that, this research also includes testing and evaluation of the interactive e-book to measure its effectiveness in supporting the student learning process. The results of the validation test show that the Quranic Quest E-Book received a very positive response from material and learning media experts. The validation test by material experts achieved a score of  100 %, which indicates that the content presented is in accordance with PAI learning standards and is able to provide an in-depth understanding of Surah At-Tin. Meanwhile, validation by media experts reached a score of 90%, indicating that the design and interactive features used are quite effective in attracting students' attention and are easy to use.   Keywords: Development, Interactive E-Book, Surah At-Tin.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low critical thinking skills of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model assisted by flipbook media on students' critical thinking skills. Quasi Experimental Group Design is the research methodology used here. 46 persons made up the study's sample, which was chosen using the saturated sample type non-probability sampling technique. gathering data through observation, documenting, and testing methods. A straightforward linear regression test was used to test the hypothesis, and the results showed that Fcount ≥ Ftable (22.26>4.32), indicating that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The study's findings demonstrated that, during the 2023–2024 academic year, PPKn students in class IV SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan's critical thinking abilities were impacted by the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model with the help of flipbook media. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obstacles in the implementation of the humanistic approach to improve the discipline of dhuha prayer at SD Islamic Green School Salatiga. The humanistic approach conveys the holistic needs of students, including physiological aspects, security, love and belonging, self-esteem, and self-actualization. In this context, the humanistic approach, This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used include observation to collect information and data related to the implementation of discipline in performing dhuha prayer through humanistic theory, interviews with parties directly involved such as the principal, vice principal, and teachers who accompany students of SD Islamic Green School Salatiga, and documentation to obtain data on student discipline in performing dhuha prayer at SD Islamic Green School Salatiga. Triangulation was employed by the researcher using cooperative techniques of documenting, interviewing, and observation that support one another. According to the study's findings, the idea of humanistic learning theory is understood as optimizing the process of physical and spiritual development, which encompasses the needs for self-actualization or personal growth, security, love, and belonging, as well as physiological or biological needs. Making an agreement with the school community, asking students questions, and playing visually appealing movies are the first steps in enforcing student discipline when conducting the Dhuha prayer.. Obstacles in the humanistic theory approach at SD Islamic Green School Salatiga include low motivation, poor time management, educators who are inconsistent in providing reinforcement, and students who do not yet have an awareness of the importance of discipline. Abstract

This research aims to increase the understanding of science and science concepts for class V students through the problem based learning model assisted by POKATA media. POKATA media is an acronym for smart card posters that can be used to help implement science learning on changes that occur on Earth. The method used was classroom action research carried out at SD Negeri 3 Kalipucangkulon with 25 class V students as the subject, consisting of 13 male students and 12 female students. The research took place in 2 cycles with 2 meetings in each cycle, there were stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Indicators of understanding the IPAS concept are restating the concept, giving examples, classifying, concluding, comparing and explaining. The results of the research show that there is an increase in the ability to understand science and science concepts for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 3 Kalipucangkulon through the problem based learning model assisted by POKATA media. This can be seen in the number of students who completed cycle I as many as 12 students with a percentage of 48% and the number of students who completed cycle II as many as 20 students with a percentage of 80%. The application of the problem based learning model assisted by POKATA media can improve the ability to understand science and science concepts by achieving predetermined success indicators.Keywords: POKATA media, problem-based learning, understanding of IPAS concepts

Abstract

Art education is part of the concept of education related to individual creative expression in conveying aesthetic appreciation experiences, a means of releasing emotions, and developing self-potential. The purpose of this study was to analyze the process and results of students' creativity in making paper mache masks and to determine the average value of students' creativity in creating mask art for students at SD 3 Jepang with 20 fourth-grade students as research subjects. This type of research uses Mixed Methods Sequential Exploratory design. The data collection techniques for this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Qualitative data analysis used consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while quantitative data is in the form of descriptive statistics using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study showed that fourth-grade students at SD 3 Jepang have a good level of creativity in carrying out artistic activities of making paper mache masks, both in choosing mask designs and students' creative ways of completing each stage. This is supported by the results of the student creativity questionnaire which is in the high category with an average value of 78.95. This study should be used as a guideline for teachers to implement creativity-based art learning using recycled materials such as paper waste so that students are more sensitive to the surrounding environment.   Keywords: Creativity, mask, paper pulp

Abstract

The use of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Augmented Reality in the field of Education aims to improve conceptual understanding and reduce students' mathematical anxiety on spatial building materials. The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade students at SDN Tlogomulyo, divided into two groups: an experimental class with 28 students and a control class with 29 students. This research is a quantitative experiment. Data collected through test and non-test techniques. The test was conducted with a Post-test at the end of the learning session, while the anxiety questionnaire was given before and after the learning session. The analysis results show that the average Post-test score for concept understanding in the experimental class is 81.7, while in the control class it is only 66.96. The average score for the anxiety questionnaire in the experimental class increased from 60 to 73.5, while the control class only experienced a slight increase from 55.1 to 57.9. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using animation media in science learning to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on the material of the solar system arrangement. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 58 grade VI students, who were divided into experimental groups (n = 29) who received learning assisted by animated media and control groups (n = 29) who received conventional learning. The analysis showed that there was a significant difference in cognitive learning outcomes between the two groups, with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The average pretest score of the experimental group was 49.90 and increased to 83.48 on the post-test after the treatment. The average pretest score of the control group was 63.90, with an increase to 70.76 in the post-test. The results of this study concluded that the use of animated media in science learning in elementary schools significantly contributed to the improvement of students' cognitive learning outcomes on the concept of the solar system arrangement. Based on these findings, it is recommended that educators make more use of animated media as a tool in learning science, especially on abstract concepts such as the composition of the solar system.
