Adisucipto International Airport (JOG) has an airside area azimuth Runway (R/W) 09 category PALS (Precision Approach Lighting System) (CAT) I that occurred to be a PAPI flight navigation tool that needs to be maintained so that the slope angle (glideslope) remains at 3°. PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator) is a visual aid device that provides pilot guidance information in maintaining the aircraft's position with the correct approach at the landing point (touch down point). The results of ground inspection using an analog clinometer conducted by technicians on November 12, 2019, found a shift in the PAPI angle. The limitations of measuring instruments are an obstacle in checking the PAPI angle. The design of the PAPI angle measuring instrument is necessary to help to check before the calibration (flight inspection) every 6 months. The innovation of a digital clinometer design that combines with digital gyroscope sensor technology and adopts the purposes of an analog clinometer measuring device. The purpose of this research is to design a PAPI angle slope measurement tool with a digital display in degrees. The working principle of this tool uses a laser sensor that can measure the angle slope at a certain distance. Stages of tool design include model design, model simulation, hardware and software design, tool testing, analysis, and outcomes. The method uses functional and structural design. From the results of digital clinometer measurements and flight calibration (flight inspection) of the four boxes (A, B, C, and D), the angular deviation is still within the deviation tolerance limit, meaning that the instrument is still accurate. The conclusion is that a digital clinometer is more practical, efficient, and accurate so that this tool can support ground check testing activities at PAPI at Jogjakarta airport (JOG).

Spectrum Analyzer is a device that is reliable enough to analyze or test the condition of a system in a communication network. However, the high purchase price of a Spectrum Analyzer means that not everyone can afford it. One solution to overcome this problem is to make a piece of hardware capable of performing the same performance as a Spectrum Analyzer but at a relatively cheaper price. Prototype Spectrum Analyzer to be implemented is a device capable of displaying the spectrum of a signal in a certain frequency range. This engineering was carried out from July to October 2020 at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic Campus and testing tools with a comparison tool was carried out at Otban Region V Makassar. The technique or method used in data collection is the library method by collecting some written data from books, literature, and tutorials on the internet, as reference material and then analyzing solutions that can be taken in solving problems. From the results of tests carried out by using RTL-SDR on the Single Board Computer (SBC), Raspberry pi can display the frequency spectrum whether it is done singly or applied to the network so that it can be used as a learning medium for wireless technology practice or other materials that measure frequency from sergi, the performance of the trainer spectrum analyzer with the use of raspberry pi as a device for processing radio / wireless signals is quite good at utilization with CLI mode (command line interface) but is relatively slow when used on the desktop as a portable spectrum analyzer that can be used as a learning medium.

This study aims to determine whether additional local flight exercise is required in the practical subject of Approach and Area Control Diploma III Air Traffic (D-III LLU) at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. This study involved a sample of 10 lecturers and 47 cadets of LLU D-III by using 4 (four) data collection techniques, namely: observation, survey, interview, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are: (1) In the practical course of Approach and Area Control, there is no traffic in the form of local flights because they are not listed in the curriculum given; (2) Lecturers and cadets hope that there will be additional local flight exercises in the Approach and Area Control practical course in order to add insight and equip Taruna / i to real conditions in the field; and (3) the addition of local flight exercises in the Approach and Area Control practical course in the Air Traffic D-III Study Program needs to be followed up with curriculum standardization.

The VHF communication radio type IC - A210 is an air to ground communication radio used by the Lion Air Group airline in carrying out its operations, this device's performance is reduced due to a change in the structure of one of the functions of the transmission cable. To improve the performance of these devices, a remote amplifier is made, so that communication can run normally and problems can be resolved. Remote amplifier is additional equipment intended for VHF communication equipment type IC - A210, this equipment consists of a Mic added with PTT, two amplifiers where one amplifier functions as an information signal amplifier coming from the FOO (Flight Operations Officer) officer on land via the mic then sent to the VHF communication equipment to be transmitted to the aircraft and the other amplifier functions as an information signal amplifier from the VHF communication equipment after receiving a reply from the pilot to be heard by the ground FOO officer. The work of the two amplifiers is alternately arranged using relay components that are regulated from the PTT by the FOO on the ground. The way to operate this Remote Amplifier equipment is the same as how to operate the VHF communication equipment type IC - A210 so that its use does not require special knowledge, so that the officer seems to be using VHF communication equipment directly

The research aims to: (1) examine and analyze the effect of work ethic on employee work productivity; (2) testing and analyzing the effect of job satisfaction on employee productivity; and (3) examining and analyzing the effect of work ethic and job satisfaction on employee work productivity. This research is an explanatory study which was conducted in July-October 2020. The research population consisted of 91 employees at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The dependent variable of this research is employee work productivity, while the independent variable of this research is work ethic and employee job satisfaction. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression method. The results showed that: (1) there is an influence of work ethic on employee work productivity; (2) there is an effect of job satisfaction on employee work productivity; and (3) work ethic and job satisfaction can be predictors of employee productivity. This type of research is research qualitative exploratory. According to Sukmadinata (2015: 60) defines qualitative research as "a study aimed at describing and analyzing phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts of people individually or in groups". The dependent variable in this study is employee work productivity.

Aviation Safety is absolutely desirable by all the stakeholders in the aviation industry. It became a serious matter which why it is continuously strived to make it happen. Accidents may occur for some reason. Natural factors, human factors, or even the system’s failure factors are possibly to be a direct or indirect cause of accidents. Shaping up the safety culture and awareness in each organization will positively contribute to aviation safety. And these things are related to the success of Safety Management System implementation in each organization or entity. The purposes of this research are to find out how was Safety Management System was carried out in AMTO 147 D-13 Prodi TPPU Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar and also to identify the possible problems and obstacles to its implementation. This research is done in the qualitative descriptive method through an interview with the SMS Manager and key persons of AMTO 147 D-13 Prodi TPPU Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar, AMTO’s personnel questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Through GAP analysis, SMS indicators were compared in actual and ideal conditions. The research data shows a quite significant failure on SMS indicators which were mentioned in the SMS Manual of AMTO 147 D-13 Prodi TPPU Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar. A different level of comprehension and awareness about the SMS implementation importance in management and staff levels was a great contribution to the SMS implementation that was not yet carried out at the maximum.

In this online care system, it is necessary to prepare an infrastructure in the form of a network and application platform. The part that will determine effectiveness in distance care. The objectives of this research are (a) Knowing the patterns of care for the online system at the Makassar Poltekbang (b) Knowing the caregivers in dealing with the online system of parenting (c) Knowing how much influence cellphones have on the interest in learning of Makassar Aviation Polytechnic (d) Knowing how much influence handphone for cadets’ discipline while in the dormitory. The method of collecting data is through interviews in the form of direct questions and answers to informants, representatives of caregivers and cadets, and with observations which are then continued with data analysis so that the data will be more focused on pre-determined problems. The technique used in analyzing for this research is descriptive qualitative.

The problem that raised in this research is how to solve problems in using office electronic equipment to make it more efficient by utilizing internet technology as a medium for controlling, air conditioning, computers, and lights. Sometimes we still find a room that has electronic equipment such as air conditioning, computers, and lights that are still on even though they are not used so that it seems wasteful and inefficient, therefore we need an Internet of Things-based smart office system that can regulate and control conditions. office electronic equipment from anywhere via the internet network so that it can be useful for identifying and monitoring whether it is on or off. The control system is expected to help to identify and monitor the switching on and off of electronic devices remotely through a user interface. This research aims to design a smart office system based on the internet of things so that it can be used to flexibly identify and control office electronic equipment. This study aims to determine the perceptions of cadets towards e-learning learning using the Learnin Management System which has been facilitated by campuses and online learning, the advantages and disadvantages of e-learning, whether the teaching materials delivered by lecturers can be understood by cadets / cadets, and the perceptions of cadets. taruni towards online learning itself. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were all cadets of the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic cadets during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses data from the results of a questionnaire distributed to all cadets of 398 cadets using Google form, making it easier for researchers to collect and process data. From the results of data analysis, it was found that cadets of Makassar Aviation Polytechnic cadets showed enthusiasm in using e-learning and online, especially in theory courses. Taruna feel more enthusiastic and understand more about the material presented by the lecturer because e-learning is more varied and less boring and more interactive in learning. But it does not apply to practical courses, which require cadets to practice directly what the lecturer has conveyed in theory. So that cadets find it difficult to do direct practice.

The height movement of aircraft on movement area at some airport need a good coordination between operational officer ATC (Air Traffic Controller) and AMC (Aircraft Movement Control). Aircraft which has been passing taxi area will guided by marshaller to park on the appron based on the parking stand set by AMC, so the aircraft parking arranged well and suitable to the applicable regulation (2015 KP 39 Standard Technique and Operation PKSP Part 139 Volume I Aerodrome). A professional resource are needed to handle aircraft on the apron so the effectiveness and efficiency of the movement could be applied. The objective of this research was to produce in order that to Marshaller Robotic in control of aircraft parking as an education media give knowledge and skills for Marshalling trainer at CASEA of Makassar regarding aircraft parking on apron. This marshaller hardware design used control system in microcontroller (Arduino mega 2560) and data communication via Bluetooth with the aircraft, which the movements were based on Annex 2 (rule of the air) about Marshalling Signals. The result of this design gave an easier perspective to understand by trainer instead of giving lesson through white board or power point. Beside of that, this simulation perspective can be seen through all sides of the aircraft, marshaller and marka on the aerodrome at once. So, through this design CASEA of Makassar could increase quality of human resources of the marshalling trainer.
