This research was conducted in Sragen Regency in which performance field extension workers very determining efficacy Sragen Regency as biggest organic sentra rice in the year 2010. So this research aimed at observing performance offield extensions workers spacious in rice organic program. In this research performance field extensions workers in organic rice program in Sragen Regency seeing from indicator such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty and tangible:Proportion analysis test showed all value from indicator used give the result to accepted hypothesis zero (HO) and refused alternative hyphotesis (HI). It's mean research hypotesis inferential unprovable, so performance field extensions workers in organic rice program it 's bad/low.

For meeting the farmer's capital needs, the government expands credit network through Village Unit BRJ· and Village Unit Cooperative (KUD). The objectives of this research are to find out the farmer's decision making in taking up credit in Village Unit BR!, to find out some factors affecting the farmer's · decision making in taking up credit in Village Unit BR!, to find out how far the significant relation between factors affecting the farmer's decision making and farmer's decision in taking up credit in Village Unit BR! in Sub district Polokarto.The result of research shows that factors affecting the farmer's decision making deriving from the farmers in age factor is included in median score of 3, namely more than 40 years to 50 years, formal education factor included in median score of 2, namely elementary school graduated, economical capability included in median score of 4, namely saving occasionally, crop factors included in median score of 3, namely between 100% up to 125%. For the factors deriving from the bank side, the credit procedure factor is included in median score of 5 namely very easy, official service factor included in median score of 4, namely 5 to J 0 minutes, the credit size factor included in median score of 2, namely between 1 to 15 millions, interest rate factor is in median score of 1, namely more than 2, 5%, loan duration factor is in median score of 4, namely on time, realization factor is in median score of 4, namely between 1 to 2 weeks, return factor is in median score of 3, namely more than J planting season to 2 planting seasons, sanction factor is in median score of 2, namely more than 2% to 2, 5%, product price factors is in median score of 3, namely stable, customer's experience factor of other farmer is in median score of 4, namely rather favorable. While the farmer's decision in taking up credit in Village Unit BR/ is included high.

Information has a very important role in our efforts to reach goals. It serves to reduce uncertainty, particularly as input to solve problems, make decisions plan and improve knowledge. The objectives of this study were to identify the peasants’ need for informations. The reach used a qualitative approach with a constructivism paradigm. It was found in the research site that to maintain all of the jobs they were serious engaged in, information had become an important factor. They need for informations was inseparable from the problems they experience in both farming and non-farming activities. They need not only farming hut also non-farming informations. The information need of among the peasants were different depending on, the type of peasant. The information need of the peasant that take height risk different from the peasant that take low risk.

This study aims to analyze: (1) How is the ability of farmers in conducting freshwater fish farming in Polanharjo District, Klaten Regency. (2) how the level of ability of farmers in conducting freshwater fish farming. The basic method of research is quantitative and qualitative with survey techniques. The research location was determined intentionally, which included Nganjat Village and Janti Village. Sampling using rondom proportional sampling technique consisted of 60 respondents of freshwater fish farmers. The results showed that: (1) the technical abilities of farmers in the medium category, managerial skills included in the medium category, and the social abilities of farmers in the medium category. (2) the level of achievement of the ability of farmers in conducting freshwater fish farming percentage of achievement 64.56%

The aim of this research is to find out the correlation between the extensioner 's role and the Member's participation in the farmer 's group activities. In accordance with the aim ofthe study, this research applies survey method with descriptive correlation type. The population of the study are th farmers who become a member offarmer 's group in the District of Banyudono. 50 farmers are taken as the samples ofthe study by using multi stage cluster random sampling. The data collecting technique is questionnare methode for all ofthe instruments. The analysis result at 5% level ofsignificance show that there is significant correlation between the extensioner 's role And the Member's participation in the farmer's group activities ( rxyl = 0,561 > r,ab = 0,279 ).

On the purpose of increasing company progress, one thing need to be considered is the productivity of the company it self Musirawas Citraharpindo Inc. ( MCh Inc.), a commercial agricultural enterprise of palm oil, do an a/tempt to increase the company productivity, the attempt is by increasing the labours productivity, especially the labours whose significant role those are harvest labours who have responsibility in harvesting the products of palm oil. The aims of this research are to know the level of work productivity of palm oil harvest labour, know level of education, disiplin, motivation, wage,welfare program, work situation, leaders attitude that has been harvest labour and the relationship between the factors related to work productivity with the work productivity of palm oil harvest labour in Musirawas Citraharpindo Inc, Central Kalimantan. The basic methode used in this research is descriptive by using case study technique. The location of the research is set in purpose (purposive) that is in Musirawas Citrarpindo Inc, Central Kalimantan, a commercial agricultural enterprise of palm oil, with the consideration that this company is the only commercial agricultural enterprise belongs lo indiginous individual ownership located in Sentyan District Central Kalimantan of wich every year can .fullfil the target of production established by the company owner. The samples are 50 harvest labours. To know the relationship between the factors related to work productivity with the work productivity of harvest labour the researcher uses Rank Spearman correlation (rs) with the program of SPSSJ0 for window, and lo examine the significance level of rs, the researcher uses I test with the value a = 0,05. The result of the research shows that the work productivity level of harvest labour in Musirawas Citraharpindo inc is include to high category. The test of rs correlation shows the existance of real relationship between welfare program, wage and work situation with work productivity. When: as education, disiplin, motivation an leaders a/litude have unreal relationship with work productivity of palm oil harvest lahour in !vlusirawas Citraharpindo Inc, Central Kalimantan.

Natural disaster, landslide and floods, progressively often happened in various indonesian regions when the rains season. Denudation of forest, effect of deforestation process, affect at energy support of nature derivation and declining the quality of ecology, have generated disaster to human life. Ruining of forest have become common phenomenon us chronic social pathology form in Indonesian societes. It is needed an effort to alter situation in this lime (recent status), that is ruining of forest on a large scale, becoming situation which is normative/expected/desirab/e status, that is everlastingly forest development. Development communications play as bridging the gap lo link between various side which have competence and have komitment to forest existence.

Research on the development conditions of the Samiran Boyolali (Dewi Sambi) tourism village based on the TALC (Tourism Area Life Cycle) analysis theory is a descriptive qualitative study. The research location was determined purposively in Samiran Village, with the consideration that the Samiran tourism village was the first tourism village formed in Selo District together with the Lencoh tourism village in 2002. The purpose of this study was to investigate the process of empowering Dewi Sambi and identify the development of Dewi Sambi based on theory TALC. The determination of the informants was carried out by purposive sampling for key informants, while the advanced informants used snowball techniques based on recommendations from key informants. The number of informants in this study were 7 people including community leaders, village heads, managers, and members of Dewi Sambi. The data analysis technique of this research used the interactive inductive analysis method. Meanwhile, the validity of research data uses triangulation of sources and informant reviews. The results showed that the process of empowering Dewi Sambi went through 3 stages, namely the stage of awareness, breathing and power. These three stages were passed with the result that most of the people of Samiran Village joined Dewi Sambi and negative behavior began to wear off. The results of research on the development conditions of Dewi Sambi based on TALC, show that this tourism village is in a consolidation phase. The main characteristics that appear are the implementation according to regulations, the number of tourists fluctuating but tends to increase according to tourist visit chart, and the role of the ministry or government to improve services to tourist guests.

Increasing agriculture product by farmers have not been followed yet by increasing farmers income and welfare significantly.Institutional building become important thing for agricultural development that the most actors are small farmer and peasant. The institutions are farmer economic institution and agricultural extension institution. They must can be accessed by farmer to increase their welfare. Therefore there are needed inceasing acess ofits institutions by farmers.
