Abstract

PT ABC is a manufacturing company that has been operating for more than 30 years in the packaging industry such as paper bags, inner boxes, corrugated carton boxes, rigid boxes, and pulp molds. Based on several materials needed in the production process, duplex paper is the one that has the most problems due to the nature of the material being easily damaged and also orders being made more frequently than other materials. Delays in deliveries from suppliers, the quality of raw materials being below standard so they cannot be used for production, and unexpected spikes in customer demand are the main problems faced by PT ABC. This often results in excesses and shortages of raw materials in the company and makes total inventory costs unstable. In order to avoid wasteful inventory costs and optimize the amount of inventory, proper raw material inventory control is needed. One effective method for implementing raw material inventory control is Material Requirement Planning (MRP) using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Point Order Quantity (POQ) and Lot for Lot (LFL) techniques. Apart from that, forecasting is also needed to reduce the level of uncertainty in the future by providing estimates of what might happen. So, this research aims to determine the best forecasting method and the most optimal lot sizing technique so that the company's total inventory costs are more efficient. From the data processing that has been carried out, the Moving Average method is the best method because it obtains the smallest error value, while the LFL lot sizing technique is the most efficient with the smallest total inventory costs of IDR 5,040,000 per year compared to the EOQ technique of IDR 31,185,794 and POQ amounting to IDR 23,042,365.

Abstract

Nourishing status in babies is a vital consideration of guaranteeing sound development and improvement. This exploration plans to foster a specialist framework for nourishing status in babies using the fluffy surmising framework strategy with the Tsukamoto fluffy calculation in view of body weight and level. In light of essential information overviews and meetings, the information gathered from coordinated wellbeing, in particular Posyandu West Adiarsa, Adiarsa Pusaka, and Telukjambe Timur in Karawang Regime added up to 181 information on kids under five. Framework configuration incorporates a point of interaction framework consisting of information, yield, data set, information construction and calculation framework plan. Framework execution was done using HTML, PHP, MySQL, and Cup. The testing framework includes a fluffy deduction framework using the Tsukamoto fluffy technique on various review instances of young children with different dietary circumstances, with contribution of 3 factors consisting; old enough, weight, level. The experimental outcomes will be contrasted and the nourishing is not entirely set in stone by a nutritionist. This exploration produces fluffy sets for the factors of weight, level and healthful status, as well as fluffy registering decisions that interface information and results. The test brings about the framework obtained a precision of 96% on the grounds that 181 tests were carried out on each information variable which adapted the factors 'terrible', 'less', 'typical', 'more' and 'weight'.

Abstract

Thyroid cancer is becoming more common, and its 20% recurrence rate of which almost half are discovered more than five years after surgery, highlights how difficult it is to distinguish between a true disease relapse and chronic disease brought on by insufficient initial treatment. This ambiguity highlights the complicated dynamics that drive the mortality rates in patients with thyroid cancer. The purpose of this study is to be refining these predictions to control Differentiated Thyroid Cancer recurrence and minimize the risk of recurrence. The dataset was obtained by monitoring a total of 383 patients with 17 attributes. This study adopted a data mining modelling strategy to evaluate the performance, classification accuracy, and cluster distribution, utilizing the Orange data mining software. The Exploratory Data Analysis was conducted to pinpoint the most significant contributors. Subsequently, a variety of supervised techniques were applied to assess the precision of both single and ensemble models in classification. For cluster determination, we implemented several unsupervised learning techniques, including k-means, hierarchical, and Louvain Clustering. The result shows that ensemble stacking algorithm demonstrated superior performance and classification accuracy, achieving impressive scores of 0.971. The analysis of clustering methods, notably k-means and hierarchical clustering, suggested that the dataset could be segmented into two distinct clusters. The most dominant factors in influencing the recurrence of thyroid cancer with strong correlation revealed 'Response', 'Risk', 'Adenopathy', and 'N'. The refinement of the diagnostic model, through the identification of accurate models and key factors, enhances the prediction of Differentiated Thyroid Cancer recurrence.

Abstract

In developed countries, the development of road infrastructure plays a vital role in driving economic development. The involvement of public authorities is very necessary in providing funds for infrastructure development, considering that roads are a very important form of public infrastructure. However, there are still some areas, such as Palembang, where damaged roads are still a serious problem. The Palembang regional government is suspected of being less proactive in improving road infrastructure in their area. In an effort to fight for the government's attention to road conditions in Palembang, the public uses social media as a means to voice complaints. A number of tweets, posts, and submissions using the keyword "Jalan Rusak Palembang" on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok revealed that sentiment was found to be only 1.8% showing positive sentiment, 13.3% neutral sentiment, and 84.9% sentiment negativity towards damaged road conditions dominates. In order to collect further data regarding public perceptions of road conditions in Palembang, research was conducted using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The test results show that the Naïve Bayes model provides an accuracy of 91,20, precision of 92,32%, recall of 91,20%, and F1 score of 91,26%, showing excellent performance in classifying public sentiment towards damaged roads in Palembang.

Abstract

Stress is an individual’s response to changing circumstances, and high levels of stress can have a negative impact on physical and mental health. Correctly identifying stress levels is essential for appropriate medical and psychological interventions. This research aims to determine the more effective and accurate algorithm between K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Decision Tree in classifying individual stress levels. The data used in this study was obtained from the “Human Stress Detection” dataset on the Kaggle website, which includes variables of humidity, temperature, step count, and stress level. The results showed that the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm managed to achieve a perfect accuracy rate of 100%, while the Decision Tree achieved an accuracy of 99,50%. In addition, in terms of precision, recall, and F1-score, K-Nearest Neighbor also excelled with 100% each, while Decision Tree had 99,45% precision, 99,54% recall, and 99,50% F1-score. The analysis also found that high body temperature (>30°C) and high humidity (>22,5) were associated with higher stress levels. A step count below 90 can also indicate normal or high stress. Thus, this study concludes that the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is more effective in classifying an individual’s stress level and factors such as body temperature, humidity, and footsteps play an important role in determining an individual’s stress level.

Abstract

Employee attendance issues are a significant concern in many organizations, particularly regarding fraudulent practices such as proxy attendance and data inaccuracies. Conventional attendance systems relying on signatures or ID cards are often ineffective in preventing these frauds. To address this issue, this study developed a fingerprint-based attendance system integrated with a database and website. The primary objective of this system is to facilitate the attendance recapitulation process, eliminate proxy attendance, and enhance employee awareness and discipline. This system uses fingerprint technology to ensure that each employee is physically present at the time of attendance, thereby improving the accuracy and reliability of attendance data. The research method used is experimental, involving the development of hardware and software with various interconnected components. The results show that this system not only simplifies attendance recapitulation but is also effective in preventing fraud, increasing employee awareness and discipline, and ensuring data security accessible only by the admin. Thus, the fingerprint-based attendance system proves to be an effective solution in addressing attendance issues in the workplace.
