Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic (CoronaVirus Disease-19) caused the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to implement various policies to tackle the spread of Covid-19 so that those policies’ impacts need to be evaluated. This activity of learning to topic evaluate the impact of public policies during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out in the Public Policy course. This research activity uses a web-based learning strategy. Based on these web-based learning activities, this study aims: (1) to see web-based learning applications on the evaluation material for the impact of public policies during Covid-19, and (2) to see the increase in students' abilities in understanding the material for evaluating the impact of public policies during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects subject to action were students of semester VII of the Pancasila and Civic Education study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the Islamic University of North Sumatra in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data analysis in this study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The validity of the data in this study was carried out using observation sheets and student learning achievements tests on the evaluation material for the impact of Public Policy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of students to understand the material for evaluating the impact of public policies during the Covid-19 pandemic using web-based learning.

Abstract

This study is to examine the influence: between atmosphere of the organization and employees’ satisfaction against the employees’ performance partially or simultaneously. The good atmosphere of the organization became more effective in increasing employees’ work satisfaction; and finally obtain good employees’ performance. This situation cannot be found in this company. This study used descriptive methode. All of employees became sample (36 people). The data was collected by observation, interview and questioner. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis with F-test (simultaneous) and T-test (partial) at the significance level of 95%. The result of the study provides a conclusion as follow: 1. There is a significant influence between organization atmosphere against the employees’ performance in PT. Yuri Cakra Brothers. (2) There is a significant influence between employees’ satisfaction against the employees’ performance in PT. Yuri Cakra Brothers, (3) There is a significant influence between organization atmosphere and employees’ satisfaction altogether against employees’ performance in PT. Yuri Cakra Brothers.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan model penilaian berbasis teknologi digital ASES untuk meningkatkan aktifitas belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kebijakan Publik..Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dan dilakukan di 3 siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes lembar hasil observasi dosen dan mahasiswa.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model penilaian berbasis teknologi digital ASES  dapat meningkatkan aktifitas belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kebijakan Publik  yang dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai siklus 1, 2 dan 3  sebesar 67,40; 77,85; dan 83,05. Hasil belajar mahasiswa juga meningkat secara bertahap dari siklus pertama ke siklus ketiga, dimana nilai rata-rata siswa siklus 1, 2, dan 3 sebesar 60,40; 73,50; 81,86, masing-masingKata Kunci:Model ASES, Aktifitas Belajar, Mata Kuliah Kebijakan Publik Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the ASES digital technology-based assessment model to improve student learning activities in the Public Policy course. This research is a classroom action research and is carried out in 3 cycles, where each cycle consists of several stages, namely: planning, implementing , action, observation, and reflection. The instruments used in this study were observations and test sheets from the observations of lecturers and students. The results showed that the application of the ASES digital technology-based assessment model could increase student learning activities in the Public Policy course which can be seen from the average value of cycles 1, 2 and 3 of 67.40; 77.85; and 83.05. Student learning outcomes also increased gradually from the first cycle to the third cycle, where the average value of students in cycles 1, 2, and 3 was 60.40; 73.50; 81.86, respectivelyKeywords: ASESModel, Learning Activities, Public Policy Courses

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak melalui e-learning flipped classroom. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah penelitian yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, analisis dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara pada tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan pada matakuliah  Pengembangan Bahan Ajar dengan jumlah mahasiswa 17 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada  penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif. Alat pengumpulan data kuantitatif ini menggunakan instrumen materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak dengan menggunakan pilihan berganda yang diberikan secara online, sementara pada data kualitatif menggunakan hasil observasi kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak di kelas e-learning. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mendesain materi pengembangan bahan ajar non cetak dengan menggunakan e-learning flipped classroom. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Mahasiswa, Bahan Ajar Non Cetak, E-Learning Classroom  Abstract: This study aims to improve students' abilities in designing non-print teaching materials through e-learning flipped classrooms. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) by following the research steps, namely: planning, implementing, observing, analyzing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students in the fifth semester of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, the Teaching and Education Faculty of the Islamic University of North Sumatra in the 2020/2021 school year. The implementation of this classroom action research was carried out in the course of Teaching Material Development with a total of 17 students. Data collection techniques in this study using quantitative data. This quantitative data collection tool uses non-printed teaching material development materials instruments using multiple choices provided online, while the qualitative data uses observations of students' abilities in designing non-print teaching material development materials in e-learning classes. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the ability of students in designing non-print teaching materials development materials using e-learning flipped classrooms. Keywords: Student Activity, Non-Printed Teaching Materials, E-Learning Flipped Classroom

Abstract

Abstrak: Di Era Society 5.0 seperti sekarang ini, penggunaan teknologi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi elemen kunci bagi suksesnya proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dosen di kelasnya. Pembelajaran yang memadukan teknologi dan kemampuan pedagogi dosen yang diselaraskan dengan isi materi pembelajaran yang berkualitas tentunya akan mempengaruhi pengetahuan mahasiswa dalam pencapaian hasil belajar mereka yang maksimal. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan rancangan pembelajaran berbasis Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matakuliah Ekonomi Kesehatan. Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan mengintegrasikan data penelitain kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester III Program Studi Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Haji Sumatera Utara pada tahun pelajaran 2021.2. dengan jumlah mahasiswa 17 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasl observasi dosen dalam megimplementasikan rancangan pembelajaran berbasis TPACK, hasl observasi  aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dosen dalan mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis TPACK,  dan instrumen tes hasil belajar mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Ekonomi Kesehatan dengan mengimplementasikan rancangan pembelajaran berbasis TPACK.  Kata Kunci: Rancangan Pembelajaran Berbasis TPACK, Hasil Belajar Matakuliah Ekonomi Kesehatan Abstract: In the Era of Society 5.0 as it is today, the use of technology in learning activities is a key element for the success of the learning process carried out by lecturers in their classes. Learning that combines technology and lecturers' pedagogical abilities that are aligned with the content of quality learning materials will certainly affect students' knowledge in achieving their maximum learning achievements. Therefore, this study aims to implement a learning design based on Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) to improve learning outcomes for the Health Economics course. This research is in the form of Classroom Action Research by integrating qualitative and quantitative research data. The subjects of this study were third semester students of the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Haji Sumatera Utara in the academic year 2021.2. with 17 students. The data in this study were obtained from the observations of lecturers in implementing TPACK-based learning designs, observations of student learning activities of lecturers in participating in TPACK-based learning, and test instruments for student learning outcomes. The findings of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in the Health Economics course by implementing a TPACK-based learning design. Keywords: TPACK-based Learning Design, Learning Achievements of Health Economics Course

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengintegrasian Teknologi Komunikasi dan Informasi (TIK) pada kegiatan pembelajaran saat ini dapat memacu kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi/higher order tinking skills (HOTS )mahasiswa. Kerangka kerja untuk menerapkan TIK dengan menumbuhkan HOTS mahasiswa dapat menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Technological, Pedagogical And Content Knowledge (TPACK). Berdasarkan perpaduan integrasi HOTS dan penerapan Model TPACK, maka tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar Matakuliah Strategi Pembelajaran PPKn dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran TPACK yang mengembangkan HOTS. Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan Model Kemmis & McTaggart  yang  menggabungkan data kualitatif serta kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berbentuk sampel jenuh dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah  mahasiswa semester I Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn)  Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU) pada tahun pelajaran 2021.1. dengan jumlah mahasiswa 10 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi kegiatan mengajar dosen dalam menerapkan Model Pembelajaran TPACK  dengan mengembangkan HOTS, hasil observasi  aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran yang menggunakan Model TPACK  yang mengembangkan HOTS,  dan instrumen tes hasil belajar matakuliah Strategi Pembelajaran PPKn yang mengembangkan HOTS. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Strategi Pembelajaran PPKn dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran TPACK yang mengembangkan HOTS. Kata Kunci:  HOTS, model pembelajaran TPACK, hasil belajar matakuliah strategi pembelajaran PPKn Abstract: The integration of Information and Communication Technology in current learning activities can stimulate students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The framework for implementing Information and Communication Technology by growing HOTS students can use the Technological, Pedagogical And Content Knowledge (TPACK) Learning Model. Based on the combination of HOTS integration and the application of the TPACK Model, the purpose of this study is to see an increase in learning achievemnet  for the Pancasila and  Civics Learning Strategy Course by applying the TPACK Learning Model that develops HOTS. This research was in the form of Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis & McTaggart Model which combines qualitative and quantitative data. The sample of this research was in the form of a saturated sample with the research subjects being first semester students of the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Progra, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Univesitas Islam Sumatera Utara Islamic (UISU) in the academic year 2021.1. with 10 students. The data in this study were obtained from observations of lecturers' teaching activities in applying the TPACK Learning Model by developing HOTS, observations of student learning activities in participating in learning using the TPACK Model by developing HOTS, and the test instrument for learning achievement for Pancasila and Civics Learning Strategies courses based on HOTS. Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi pencegahan dan penanggulangan penyebaran Varian Omicron di masa Pandemi COVID-19 pada siswa Sekolah Dasar melalui media edukasi daring berupa gambar tentang pencegahan Varian Omicron di masa Pandemi COVID-19. Varian Omicron ini merupakan Varian baru dari Varian COVID-19 yang menunjukkan bahwa Omicron menimbulkan risiko infeksi ulang yang lebih tinggi. WHO menyebut varian baru ini telah mengalami sangat banyak mutasi, dibandingkan varian-varian lainnya. Untuk mengatasi penyebaran Varian tersebut dalam pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas saat ini, perlu dilakukan pencegahannya dengan mengedukasi siswa Sekolah Dasar melalui kegiatan penggunaan media pembelajaran cetak dengan menggunakan poster. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini agar para siswa dapat dengan mudah memahami bahaya penyebaran Varian Omicron salah satu Varian dari Covid-19 dan mampu melakukan pencegahannya secara tepat dengan menggunakan media cetak ini. Penggunaan media cetak dalam kegiatan edukasi ini dimaksudkan agar siswa dapat dengan mudah menerima informasi yang disampaikan oleh tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Efektifitas kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menggunakan kuesioner melalui kegiatan pre tes dan pos tes. Hasil dari pretes dan postes menunjukkan telah terjadi peningkatan kesadaran siswa dalam pencegahan dan penyebaran Varian Omicron dalam kegiatan Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas pada siswa Sekolah Dasar Setia Budi Abadi Kecamatan Perbaungan Kabupoaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi sumatera Utara pada tahun pelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Because to improve student activities and learning outcomes in this pan-demic mass is the teacher's main task. To develop these competencies, one option is to use a seminar website or webinar as a learning strategy that can be applied to students. However, little is known about the process of improving student activity and learning outcomes through webinars. The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes during the pandemic in public policy courses through webinar learning strategies. This study uses classroom action research methods which were carried out at the Islamic University of North Sumatra with the participation of 10 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, student assessments, and interview sheets. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activities, especially in refuting activities or accepting other friends' ideas. The results of this classroom action research show that there is an increase in the activeness and learning achievements of students during the New Normal period in the public policy course using the webinar strategy.

Abstract

The use of Information and Communication Technology in learning activities often makes it difficult for lecturers to measure student work results whether their work is plagiarized or not. Many students do plagiarism and behave dishonestly in reporting the results of their work. To overcome this problem, an assessment model is needed that is able to see the similarity of student answers. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the Automated Short Essay Scoring (ASES) assessment model. This study is intended to determine the application of the Automated Short Essay Scoring (ASES) assessment model to increase the honesty character of students in the Public Policy course. This research is a classroom action research and is guided by the research concept developed by Kurt Lewin, by carrying out two treatment cycles. This research was applied to students in the seventh grade of the PPKn Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of the Islamic University of North Sumatra (UISU) totaling 16 people with four stages of research, namely the planning stage, implementation stage, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the honesty character of students in learning Public Policy subjects using the ASES assessment model. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that lecturers who use Information and Communication Technology-based learning can use Automated Short Essay Scoring (ASES) in providing assessments to students.Keywords: Automated Short Essay Scoring, Honesty Character

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui  implementasi model penilaian berbasis digital Automated Short Essay Scoring ASES untuk meningkatkan hasil  belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Assesmen dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dan dilakukan di 3 siklus.  Setiap siklus terdiri dari langkah-langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Satu set data terdiri dari asesmen hasil belajar mahasiswa dan tanggapan angket diperoleh dari penelitian tindakan. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester V (lima)  Prodi PPKn FKIP Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara yang terdiri dari 11 mahasiswa (3 laki-laki dan 8 perempuan) dan 2 kolaborator. Kesuksesan penelitian ditunjukkan dengan 90% mahasiswa mencapai ketercapaian  pembelajaran mata kuliah  Assesmen dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran PPKn. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi dengan angket, observasi, dan tes. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa semua ketercapaian  pembelajaran mata kuliah  Assesmen dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran PPKn yang dinilai berada pada kategori tinggi.Kata Kunci: Model ASES, Hasil Belajar, Mata Kuliah Assemem dan Evaluasi Pembelajaran PPKn Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the digital-based Automated Short Essay Scoring ASES assessment model to improve student learning outcomes in the Civics Assessment and Evaluation Course. This research was a classroom action research and was conducted in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of the steps of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. One data set consists of an assessment of student learning outcomes and questionnaire responses obtained from action research. The learning process was carried out for fifth (fifth) semester students of the PPKn FKIP Study Program, Islamic University of North Sumatra, consisting of 11 students (3 boys and 8 girls) and 2 collaborators. The success of the research was shown by 90% of students achieving learning achievement in the Civics Learning Assessment and Evaluation course. Data collection was carried out using the documentation method with questionnaires, observations, and tests. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that all learning achievements in the Civics Learning Assessment and Evaluation course are considered to be in the high category..Keywords: ASES Model, Learning Outcomes, Subject Assessment and Evaluation of  Pancasila and Civics Learning
