Abstract

AbstractThe progress of the organization is strongly supported by the performance of employees. If employees do a good job, employees will compete for awards, bonuses or be promoted to a better position. There are several problems arising from leadership style and lack of motivation in the Quality Control section, such as, the length of laboratory sample analysis, frequent miss communication with other related sections, to high attendance rates. The purpose of this study is intended so that we know the extent of the influence of management and morale on staff performance at PT. CJFM, The research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive type using questionnaire data collection techniques using 10 samples. The methods used are multiple regression analysis and partial t tests and F tests to determine the free parts that can affect the bound part if the data is analyzed with the SPSS application. The results of this study illustrate that leadership or leadership can have a positive effect and work encouragement has a negative effect on staff performance at PT CFJM. The results of the partial analysis of CJFM, management has a significant effect and work encouragement can have a negative and inappropriate effect on the performance of PT. CJFM. Keywords:Management; Motivation; PerformanceAbstrakKemajuan organisasi sangat didukung oleh kinerja karyawan. Apabila karyawan melakukan pekerjaan dengan baik, maka karyawan akan bersaing memperoleh penghargaan, bonus atau dipromosikan kejabatan yang lebih baik. Terdapat beberapa masalah yang timbul akibat dari gaya kepemimpinan dan kurangnya motivasi di section quality control, diantaranya seperti, lamanya analisa sample laboratorium, seringnya miss communication dengan section lain yang terkait, hingga tingkat absensi yang tinggi. Tujuan dari studi ini dimaksudkan agar kita tahu sejauh mana pengaruh manajemen dan semangat kerja terhadap kinerja staf di PT. CJFM, Adapun  penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah jenis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan data kuesioner dengan menggunakan 10 sampel. Adapun metode  yang dipakai  analisa regresi berganda dan uji t parsial serta uji F  untuk mengetahui bagian bebas yang dapat mempengaruhi bagian terikat jika data tersebut dianalisis dengan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil studi ini menggambarkan bahwa kepemimpinan atau leadership dapat berpengaruh positif dan dorongan kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja staf di PT. CJFM. Hasil analisis parsial PT. CJFM, manajemen berpengaruh signifikan dan dorongan kerja dapat berpengaruh negatif dan tidak sesuai terhadap kinerja staf PT. CJFM. Kata Kunci:Kepemimpinan; Kinerja; Motivasi

Abstract

The transition towards renewable energy sources is critical for sustainable development, particularly in regions like North Sumatra, Indonesia, where energy demand is increasing rapidly. This research presents an analysis of the forecast of renewable energy development in North Sumatra using the ANFIS. The analysis begins with data collection and preprocessing, incorporating historical data on energy consumption, renewable energy installations, population growth, economic indicators, and environmental factors. ANFIS models are then developed and optimized to capture the complex relationships between these variables and forecast renewable energy trends accurately. Model validation and performance evaluation techniques ensure the reliability of the forecasted outcomes. The results of the calculations conducted using the ANFIS method obtained an error value of 0,000201092% and has a Forecast of Renewable Energy Development in North Sumatra in 2028 of 160.44 MW.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the biomass energy potential in North Sumatra using the Long-range Energy Alternatives Planning (LEAP) system. North Sumatra, a region rich in agricultural and forestry resources, presents significant opportunities for biomass energy development. The LEAP model, a widely used tool for energy policy analysis and climate change mitigation assessment, was employed to simulate and analyze various scenarios of biomass energy utilization in the region. Key biomass resources in North Sumatra, such as palm oil residues, rice husks, and wood waste, were identified and quantified. The study involved the collection of data on biomass availability, current usage patterns, and technological options for biomass energy conversion. By integrating these data into the LEAP model, different scenarios were developed to explore the potential contributions of biomass energy to the regional energy mix and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction. The analysis results show that in 2028, the significant potential for new and renewable energy in North Sumatra includes water energy, wind energy and biomass energy. The potential biomass energy produced is 27.0 MW.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pendapatan, wawasan, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan serta memberikan motivasi akan perubahan perilaku dalam manajemen pengolahan ampas dengan produk susu kedelai menjadi tepung ampas susu kedelai di UKM Susu Kedelai Mamak. Dimana tepung ini nantinya bisa mengganti tepung tapioka yang biasa digunakan UKM ini untuk membuat cemilan-cemilan lain seperti kerupuk. Selama ini ampas industri pembuatan susu kedelai hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak dengan harga yang sangat rendah. Teknologi pembuatan kerupuk dari ampas susu kedelai sangat sederhana, yaitu pengumpulan ampas dari susu kedelai, menyiapkan tepung tapioka dalam hal ini tepung tapioka diganti dengan tepung ampas kedelai, penyedap rasa, dan bawang putih, campurkan bahan-bahan hingga homogen, pengukusan adonan, pemotongan adonan, penjemuran dan penggorengan.

Abstract

The grounding system in substations generally uses electrode rods, because electrodes can affect the effectiveness of fault current conduction, so the equipment will be safer. Considering the importance of the grounding system, the installed grounding system must be considered and maintained properly. One of them is the grounding found in Glugur. The main objective of this research is to comprehensively evaluate the substation grounding system by modeling the grounding system at the Glugur Substation using MATLAB graphical user interface (GUI). The grounding resistance follows a grid system with an area of 20×15=300 m² with specific resistance being clay using 100 rod electrodes. From the results of ground resistance simulation modeling using MATLAB GUI, it can be concluded as follows: for a certain resistance value, the number of electrodes for 100 Ωm is 3.55 Ω, for ground resistance with a constant depth and a varying number of 100 electrodes, it is 3.45 Ω, and for. The grounding resistance with a constant and varying number of 1,000 rods is obtained at 2.65 Ω. From these results, the modeling carried out is in accordance with the standards of electricity regulations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kebisingan adalah salah satu konsekuensi negatif dari meningkatnya penggunaan mesin industri, yang terbagi atas kebisingan rendah, sedang, dan keras. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan jumlah kebisingan di ruang kerja Fatty Acid Fase2, area paparan kebisingan, dan usulan pengendalian. Menggunakan pendekatan tingkat kebisingan ekuivalen (Leq) dengan alat pengukur Sound Level Meter, pengukuran langsung dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kebisingan untuk lantai 0 (85,61 dBA), lantai 3 (88,18 dBA) dan lantai 4 (87,73 dB) kegiatan FattyAcid Fase 2 lebih tinggi daripada NAB. Pemberian tanda di tempat-tempat dengan tingkat kebisingan yang berlebihan, briefing keselamatan, penggunaan APD, penggantian bagian mesin yang rusak, dan pelumasan bagian bergerak, serta mengatur ulang penjadwalan maintenance beberapa saran perbaikan yang diusulkan.

Abstract

Jakarta, as a rapidly growing urban area, faces challenges in balancing energy demand with supply while addressing environmental concerns associated with traditional energy sources. Electrical energy production prediction in urban environments like Jakarta is crucial for effective energy management, ensuring stable supply, and promoting sustainable development. The prediction of electrical energy production in Jakarta is critical for ensuring stable and sustainable energy supply. This research proposed the application of the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) as a predictive tool specifically tailored for Jakarta's energy production prediction context. The research methodology used in this study is the ANFIS. Five levels make up the architecture of the ANFIS model: output, normalization, defuzzification, rule evaluation, and fuzzification. The fuzzification layer converts input variables into linguistic terms using membership functions, while the rule evaluation layer calculates the activation strength of each rule based on the input values. The predicted results of Jakarta electrical energy production from 2023 to 2028 are 65,288 GWh and there is an annual increase of 5.25%. The error contained in ANFIS is with a root mean square error (RMSE) value of 0.0001058% and a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) value of 0.00875%.

Abstract

Rajin Djalan wants to be more successful and competitive in the coffee shop business in Medan. This study aims to find the best business development strategy for Rajin Djalan in facing competition. Business development strategies are formulated based on SWOT and QSPM analysis. Alternative strategies undertaken for business development should prioritize strategy 2, namely by utilizing social media and creating content that is relevant to consumers and attractive. Results from the SWOT analysis, so the right business development strategy for Rajin Djalan is the S-O (Strengths - Opportunities) strategy, namely using strengths to take advantage of opportunities with alternative strategies: a. Endorsement by Influencer b. Utilize social media and create content that is relevant to consumers and interesting.

Abstract

Industri plastik merupakan salah satu sektor manufaktur terbesar di dunia, menyediakan berbagai produk yang digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, mulai dari kemasan makanan, komponen otomotif, hingga barang elektronik. Proses ekstrusi adalah salah satu metode utama dalam produksi barang-barang plastik. Dalam proses ini, bahan baku plastik dilelehkan dan didorong melalui cetakan untuk membentuk produk akhir. Keberhasilan proses ekstrusi sangat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai parameter operasional, salah satunya adalah suhu. Suhu yang terlalu rendah dapat menyebabkan bahan tidak meleleh sempurna, mengakibatkan aliran yang terhambat dan produk dengan kualitas buruk. Sebaliknya, suhu yang terlalu tinggi dapat menyebabkan degradasi termal, yang juga berdampak negatif pada kualitas produk dan umur mesin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh suhu terhadap laju aliran plastik pada mesin extruder. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pengumpulan data eksperimental, analisis data, dan validasi hasil dengan model teoretis. Desain penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa, dibandingkan dengan peleburan pada suhu 150°C, mesin ekstruder plastik yang menggunakan pelet plastik yang dilelehkan pada suhu 300°C lebih berhasil dalam menghasilkan filamen dengan diameter dan bentuk yang baik. Filamen yang dipanaskan dengan pemanas selama satu menit pada suhu 300°C menghasilkan berat akhir 26 gram, namun selama satu menit pada suhu 150°C hanya menghasilkan satu gram. Selanjutnya perhitungan debit pada suhu 150°C menghasilkan hasil akhir sebesar 1 gr/m, sedangkan perhitungan debit pada suhu 300°C menghasilkan hasil akhir sebesar 26 gr/m.
