Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of work discipline on employee performance, the influence of work loyalty on employee performance, and the joint influence of work discipline and work loyalty on employee performance at LPP TVRI North Sumatra. The methodology used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Data was collected through the use of questionnaires and direct observation. The research population was 119 employees, with a sample of 92 employees selected using the simple random sampling method. The results of the research show that in the relationship between work discipline (X1) and employee performance (Y), the calculated t value is 0.376, which is smaller than the t table value (1.990), with a significance of 0.708 which is greater than the significance. level 0.05. This means that work discipline (X1) has no significant effect on employee performance (Y). Likewise, in the relationship between work loyalty (X2) and employee performance (Y), the calculated t value of -0.457 is also smaller than the t table value (1.990), with a significance of 0.649 which is greater than the significance level. of 0.05. This shows that work loyalty (X2) does not have a significant effect on employee performance (Y). The results of the F test of the simultaneous influence of work discipline (X1) and work loyalty (X2) on employee performance (Y), show that the calculated F value is 0.115 smaller than the F table value (3.10), and the significance probability value is 0.892 greater than significance level of 0.05. This shows that together work discipline (X1) and work loyalty (X2) do not have a significant influence on employee performance (Y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memahami hal-hal berikut: 1) Apakah Kualitas Produk dan Kualitas Pelayanan berdampak secara Terpisah dan bersama-sama terhadap keputusan pembelian Produk UMKM? 2) Berapa besarnya Dampak Kualitas Pelayanan secara Terpisah dan bersama-sama terhadap keputusan pembelian Produk UMKM Produk UMKM? Metodologi penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah: 1) Dalam konteks Terpisah, terdapat dampak yang signifikan dari Produk terhadap Keputusan Pembelian, terdapat pula dampak yang signifikan dari Lokasi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian, namun tidak ada dampak yang signifikan dari Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. Di sisi lain, dalam konteks bersama-sama, terdapat dampak yang signifikan dari Kualitas Produk dan Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. 2) Secara Terpisah, besarnya dampak Produk terhadap keputusan pembelian mencapai 23,18%, sementara besarnya dampak Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap keputusan pembelian adalah 12,71%. Dan secara bersama-sama, besar dampak dari kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap keputusan pembelian adalah 40,7%

Abstract

Light Service Stores are shops that provide gadget repair services, such as Android cellphones, iPhones, Macbooks, selling gadget components, and so on. Activities at the Light Service Store begin when the customer comes to the counter regarding the problem with the gadget to be repaired, and then the customer delivers the gadget to the counter for repair. During the gadget repair process, customers can inquire about the progress of the gadget being repaired. After the gadget has been repaired, the admin informs the customer that the gadget has been repaired, and then the customer makes a payment. There are problems faced, namely that the way to manage customer orders is still conventional, so customers cannot monitor the progress of gadget repairs. Based on the problems faced by shop owners, a website-based gadget repair information system was created. The purpose of creating a gadget repair information system is to make it easier for customers to monitor gadget repair status and manage repair service orders. The method used in making the gadget repair information system is the Scrum method, where the Scrum method is more flexible if changes occur during the application development process and according to the wishes of the user because it gets regular feedback. In testing the website, the researcher used the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to produce a pragmatic quality value of 2.0875, a hedonic quality value of 1.7125, and an overall value of 1.9, so it can be concluded that the application can be used by users and shop owners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Etika Profesi Terhadap Pertimbangan Tingkat Materialitas Dalam Pemeriksaan Laporan Keuangan Pada PT. Bhakti Sehat Husada Medan”. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah etika profesi sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 sampel. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan karyawan yang terdaftar sebagai responden pada perusahaan PT. Bhakti Sehat Husada Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan mendokumentasikan hasil kuesioner. Dalam membuktikan dan menganalisis hal tersebut, maka digunakan uji normalitas, uji Multikolinieritas, Uji Heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda, Uji R² serta uji F (simultan) dan uji t (parsial). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa: secara parsial tidak berpengaruh antara etika profesi (X1) terhadap tingkat materialitas (Y) perusahaan pada PT. Bhakti Sehat Husada.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze whether: 1) land area has a partial and significant effect on rice production yields, 2) Fertilizer (urea) has a partial and significant effect on rice production, 3) Seeds have a partial and significant effect on rice production, 4) Pesticides have a partial and significant effect on rice production, and 5) Land area, fertilizer (urea), seeds and pesticides have a simultaneous and significant effect on rice production in Paris Village, Mootilango District. The research method used is a type of research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The results of the study were: 1) The results of farmers' rice production in Paris Village, Mootilango District, Gorontalo Regency of 74.80 percent were influenced by land area factors (X1), Urea factor (X2), Seed Factor (X3) and Pesticide factor (X4), 2) Partially the land area factor of Seed factor (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the amount of rice production produced by farmers in Paris Village, Mootilango District, Gorontalo Regency. Meanwhile, the land area factor (X1), Urea factor (X2), and Pesticide factor (X4) did not have a positive and significant effect on the amount of rice production produced by farmers in Paris Village, Mootilango District, Gorontalo Regency, and 3) Simultaneously the land area factor (X1), Urea factor (X2), seed factor (X3) and Pesticide factor (X4) positively and significantly affect the amount of rice production produced by farmers in Paris Village, Mootilango District, Regency Gorontalo.

Abstract

In data classification, there are various methods that can be employed, one of which is the random forest method. This method proves effective in handling non-linear data, exhibiting robustness against extreme data points and disturbances, and providing ease of use that results in high-quality classification outcomes. Data imbalance, where one class has more or fewer instances than the others, is a common issue. In situations of data imbalance, most classification models tend to favor the majority class, which can lead to overfitting and unsatisfactory classification results. To address this issue, resampling techniques can be applied. One such resampling technique is SMOTE, specifically an oversampling method that augments the minority class by generating synthetic data points. This research aims to evaluate the accuracy of data classification using the random forest method and assess the impact of resampling and random forest on classification. The data used in this study includes simulated breast cancer data and real-world patient data from LBW Puskesmas Banggae I Kabupaten Majene. The analysis results indicate an accuracy rate of 94.74%, a sensitivity of 93.33%, and an F1-Score of 95.89% for breast cancer data. Meanwhile, the accuracy for LBW data reached 73.75%, with a sensitivity of 77.63%, and an F1-Score of 84.89%.

Abstract

Current developments in technological science have had a major impact on our daily lives, one of the impacts is in the health and agricultural sectors which implement automated systems. This research aims to review current topics regarding expert systems and the use of some of the best algorithms used. The literature review was created by systematically reviewing 1000 research articles from the last 5 years (from 2016 to 2020) by collecting through related sources including conference proceedings and journals. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). SLR is used to identify, study and interpret all relevant specific research. The results of this research reveal several algorithms that are frequently used and have good accuracy values ​​as well as trending topics in the field of expert systems.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) To determine the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency. (2) To determine the effect of teacher competency on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency. (3) To determine the effect of teacher job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency. (4) To determine the influence of transformational leadership, competence and teacher job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu Aceh Tamiang Regency simultaneously. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency. With a population of 40 people. The sample in the study was determined using a total sampling technique, so the number of samples was also 40 people. Data collection techniques use non-test methods, with questionnaire research instruments and library studies. Data analysis uses SPSS with descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The research results show that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence of the transformational leadership variable on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of the teacher competency variable on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency. (3) There is an influence of teacher job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu Aceh Tamiang Regency. (4) There is an influence of transformational leadership, teacher competency, and job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tamiang Hulu, Aceh Tamiang Regency.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of job training variables on the quality of service to the community at the BPJS Health Langsa Branch Office. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The research technique used distributing questionnaires (Likert scale questionnaires) to 46 research respondents. The research results show that: 1) Digital media has a negative and insignificant effect on the quality of service to the community at the BPJS Health Langsa Branch office. The results of this research are based on the coefficient value tcount < ttable, namely - 1,730 < 1.680 with a significance of 0.091 > 0.05. It was concluded that the research hypothesis H₀ was accepted and H1 was rejected. This means that there is no influence between digital media on the quality of service at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. 2) Career development has a positive and significant effect on the quality of service to the community at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. The results of this research are based on the coefficient value tcount > ttable, namely 19,697 > 1.680 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. It was concluded that the research hypothesis H0 was rejected and H2 was accepted. This means that there is an influence between development on the quality of service at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office, 3) Job training has a positive and significant effect on the quality of service to the community at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. The results of this research are based on the coefficient value tcount < ttable, namely 4,355 > 1.680 with a significance of 0.000 > 0.05. It was concluded that the research hypothesis H0 was rejected and H3 was accepted. This means that there is an influence between job training on the quality of service at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. 4) Digital media, career development and job training simultaneously or together have a positive effect on the quality of service to the community at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. The results of this research can be seen from Digital Media (X1), Career Development (X2), Job Training (X3) with a significant value of α 0.000 < 0.05 and a value of Fcount > Ftable (972,032 > 3.21). Based on the ANOVA table, the significance level used is 0.05. Thus, the decision is obtained that H0 is rejected and H4 is accepted. Therefore, this research is suitable to be used because the independent variable has a positive effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract

Human resources in an organization are very important where human resources are needed in an organization for the progress of the organization. Employees are one of the components that determine the success of work activities within the organization. Serious attention must always be given to managing human resources, in this case employees. Work performance is the result of work that a person has achieved from their work behavior in carrying out work activities. In line with the development of the times and technology, one of the government agencies, namely the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA), East Aceh Regency, has long started making changes in implementing administration, work mechanisms and services with the aim of ensuring that the agency is able to maintain work performance. However , a phenomenon that often occurs in BAPPEDA East Aceh Regency is the low work performance of employees which causes the administrative service process to be slow and many problems often arise. The decline in employee work performance is due to the lack of employee work discipline. Another problem is the work ethic which is still lacking. low level can be seen from a lack of optimizing one's potential, lack of cooperation between employees, lack of optimizing the time given, lack of friendliness, lack of discipline in work, etc. Work discipline is the real practice of employees regarding the rules contained in an organization. An employee's career is a series of activities or behavior related to an employee's experience and work activities from the time he joins an organization/company as a new employee until the employee retires/is laid off or dies. To improve the work performance of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of East Aceh Regency for each employee, this cannot be separated from the work ethic, work discipline and career development that these employees believe in. Employee discipline is one of the things that greatly influences the the level of work performance of an employee himself. Career development is the process of increasing a person's work abilities which encourages an increase in work performance in order to achieve the desired career. Career development activities are supported by the agency, so the agency expects feedback from employees, namely in the form of work performance. Work ethic has a positive and significant effect on the work performance of employees at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda East Aceh Regency). Work discipline has a negative and insignificant effect on the work performance of employees at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda East Aceh Regency). Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee work performance at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda, East Aceh Regency). Work ethic, work discipline and career development on employee work performance at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda East Aceh Regency).
