Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya merupakan sekolah kejuruan negeri favorit di Surabaya. Lokasi SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya berdekatan dengan RSI Ahmad Yani Surabaya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilandasi pemikiran bahwa pada era milenial ini, SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya harus dapat bersaing dengan sekolah kejuruan lain, baik sekolah negeri maupun swasta, entah di kota Surabaya sendiri ataupun di kota-kota lain. Solusi yang ditawarkan dari Institut Teknologi Telkom Surabaya dalam mengikuti perkembangan zaman adalah pelatihan keterampilan web design yang ditujukan bagi para siswa SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya Jurusan Multimedia dan Jurusan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan keterampilan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya dalam membuat dan mengelola web secara mandiri. Pelatihan keterampilan web design ini melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa dari program studi Rekayasa Perangkat Institut Teknologi Telkom Surabaya. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan keterampilan web design adalah para siswa mampu merancang dan mengelola web secara mandiri, mulai dari tingkat dasar sampai tingkat dinamis.

Abstract

A great summarization on multi-document with similar topics can help users to get useful information. A good summary must have an extensive coverage, minimum redundancy (high diversity), and smooth connection among sentences (high coherence). Therefore, multi-document summarization that considers the coverage, diversity, and coherence of summary is needed. In this paper we propose a novel method on multi-document summarization that optimizes the coverage, diversity, and coherence among the summary's sentences simultaneously. It integrates self-adaptive differential evolution (SaDE) algorithm to solve the optimization problem. Sentences ordering algorithm based on topical closeness approach is performed in SaDE iterations to improve coherences among the summary's sentences. Experiments have been performed on Text Analysis Conference (TAC) 2008 data sets. The experimental results showed that the proposed method generates summaries with average coherence and ROUGE scores 29-41.2 times and 46.97-64.71% better than any other method that only consider coverage and diversity, re-spectively.

Abstract

Segmentation on medical image requires good quality due to affect the interpretation and diagnosis of medical experts. On medical image segmentation, there is merging phase to increase the quality of the segmentation result. However, stopping criteria on merging phase was determined manually by medical experts. It implied the subjectivity of segmentation result. To increase the objectivity of segmentation result, a method to automate merging phase on medical image segmentation is required. Therefore, we propose a novel method on medical image segmentation which combine two-stage SOM and T-cluster method. Experiments were performed on dental panoramic as medical image sample and evaluated by using segmentation quality formula. Experiments show that the proposed method can perform segmentation on dental panoramic image automatically and objectively with the best average of segmentation quality value is 4,40. Abstract

Telkom Property North Surabaya has a responsibility in terms of maintaining and maintaining equipment for all assets of the Telkom Indonesia company in the North Surabaya and Madura areas. Previously, tool maintenance records were written manually, but the Mei-V application has an impact because now tool maintenance recording can be done through an android application by scanning a QR-Code. The Mei-V application was created with the aim of providing a solution so that equipment maintenance records can be carried out through an application that is connected to a direct database. The application uses the Spiral Model method so that it can carry out continuous development in the form of adding functions or changes to suit existing needs. The result of implementing the Spiral Model that can be felt is the flexibility of application development because it can always be monitored and improved at any time. The Mei-V application can provide various useful information for maintenance activities, including detailed information on equipment maintenance, maintenance reports that can be downloaded by supervisors. The Mei-V application testing was carried out with two test methods. Functionality testing is carried out with details of 4 test scenarios and shows a 100% success percentage. While the Usage Test conducted on 5 respondents showed positive results with details of the average score scale of 3.8 out of 5 points.

Abstract

In general, some students also use a method called Tikrar, where the student repeats the verse. However, sometimes they're forgetting how many times it has been repeated. With Al-Quran Tikrar, there is a framework for memorizing Quran that can be found around the pages of the Quran. This helps to mark how many times the verse has been repeated using a ballpoint, pencil and such. But over time, the Quran would devreased its quality and condition, which causes the pages of the Quran seems dirty and damaged. The system works by making the memorizer or reciter be able to mark the number of times the verse has been repeated along with the level of fluency from "not yet memorized" to "mutqin" status, and the system can also store data on the quality of memorizing the Quran from day to day based on the number of verses memorized so that the supervisor or ustadz in the tahfidz Quran class can monitor the quality of the memorizer through the ustadz's dashboard. With Al-Quran Tikrar Android App, can memorize easily and integrated into Firebase so the repeated part can be recorded and not corrupted due to certain conditions.

Abstract

Light Service Stores are shops that provide gadget repair services, such as Android cellphones, iPhones, Macbooks, selling gadget components, and so on. Activities at the Light Service Store begin when the customer comes to the counter regarding the problem with the gadget to be repaired, and then the customer delivers the gadget to the counter for repair. During the gadget repair process, customers can inquire about the progress of the gadget being repaired. After the gadget has been repaired, the admin informs the customer that the gadget has been repaired, and then the customer makes a payment. There are problems faced, namely that the way to manage customer orders is still conventional, so customers cannot monitor the progress of gadget repairs. Based on the problems faced by shop owners, a website-based gadget repair information system was created. The purpose of creating a gadget repair information system is to make it easier for customers to monitor gadget repair status and manage repair service orders. The method used in making the gadget repair information system is the Scrum method, where the Scrum method is more flexible if changes occur during the application development process and according to the wishes of the user because it gets regular feedback. In testing the website, the researcher used the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to produce a pragmatic quality value of 2.0875, a hedonic quality value of 1.7125, and an overall value of 1.9, so it can be concluded that the application can be used by users and shop owners.

Abstract

Internship programs are essential for tertiary students to gain relevant experience before entering the workforce. Managing these programs, especially in institutions such as the East Java Province Marine and Fisheries Agency (DKP), poses challenges due to the reliance on paper-based processes and the need for centralized management across 17 branches. Therefore, this research developed a "Centralized Internship Information System" (CIIS) program designed with the aim of simplifying internship registration, student placement, document management, and program monitoring at DKP and its branches. This research focuses on designing a user-friendly interface for CIIS to address these issues. The design process follows the Design Thinking method, which emphasizes deeply understanding user needs and creating innovative solutions. The effectiveness of CIIS was evaluated using the Short User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), which assesses user experience across key aspects. The UEQ results showed an average pragmatic quality score of 1.954 (excellent) and an average hedonic quality score of 1.856, with an overall average of 1.91. These results indicate that CIIS provides a high-quality user experience, facilitating easier access to internship opportunities for students, efficient candidate selection for companies, and effective monitoring for internship managers at DKP.

Abstract

Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia, kaya akan keindahan alam dan budaya, menarik perhatian wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara. Meskipun pariwisata dan teknologi di wilayah ini terus berkembang, terdapat kekurangan layanan informasi menyeluruh bagi wisatawan, dan paket wisata standar sering kali tidak memenuhi preferensi yang beragam. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dikembangkanlah sistem rekomendasi paket wisata berbasis web untuk Sulawesi Selatan. Sistem ini menggunakan metode K-means Clustering untuk kategorisasi paket dan Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). Dibangun dengan PHP, HTML, CSS, dan Javascript dengan kerangka kerja Codeigniter 4 dan basis data MYSQL, situs web ini mudah diakses tanpa perlu instalasi. Data yang terkumpul mengalami pemrosesan, termasuk perubahan nama, penanganan nilai yang hilang, dan normalisasi menggunakan scikit-learn. Integrasi algoritma K-means clustering dan TSP meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dengan menyediakan paket wisata yang terorganisir, relevan, dan memastikan perencanaan perjalanan yang efisien. Umpan balik positif dari pengguna Sulawesi Selatan, dengan skor evaluasi "Excellent" sebesar 89,17, menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini efektif memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna, memberikan pengalaman memuaskan dalam mengeksplorasi opsi wisata di wilayah tersebut. Pada akhirnya, solusi berbasis web ini terbukti efektif dalam membantu perencanaan perjalanan para wisatawan di Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 saat ini melanda beberapa negara. Indonesia termasuk negara yang terkena dampak dari Covid-19 tersebut. Akibat dampak tersebut, tidak sedikit dari warga Indonesia yang terpapar virus tersebut. Penyebaran Covid-19 terus bertambah hingga korban jiwa terus meningkat. Warga yang terpapar pun diharuskan melakukan isolasi mandiri selama 14 hari di rumah bersama keluarga mereka. Karena melakukan isolasi mandiri, maka warga yang terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 kesulitan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Masyarakat telah berusaha untuk saling membantu warga yang terkena Covid-19 untuk bertahan hidup selama masa isolasi, tetapi mereka takut terjadi kontak langsung. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengusulkan rancangan suatu alat bantu berupa aplikasi ComuLife yang berfungsi sebagai alat komunikasi dan kolaborasi untuk membantu warga terkonfirmasi Covid-19 agar mampu bertahan hidup secara gotong-royong bersama masyarakat sekitar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sekitar 61,1% masyarakat menyatakan aplikasi tersebut sangat layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Probolinggo merupakan daerah yang terdiri atas kota dan kabupaten. Berada pada lokasi yang strategis, menjadikan Probolinggo sebagai daerah transit atau tempat beristirahat bagi masyarakat yang akan pergi ke kota-kota di sekitarnya. Probolinggo memiliki destinasi wisata menarik yang memikat para peminatnya. Akan tetapi, dari sekian destinasi wisata hingga kuliner yang ada, tidak sedikit di antaranya masih jarang dikunjungi atau kurang terekspos. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya informasi mengenai lokasi wisata, sehingga tidak jarang calon pengunjung merasa ragu-ragu ketika ingin mengunjungi suatu destinasi wisata. Solusi dalam mengatasi situasi tersebut, dibangun sistem informasi geografis yang dijalankan melalui situs web, dengan menerapkan algoritma pencarian sequential search dan metode Location Based Service. Sistem ini berhasil mengakses lokasi pengguna dan menguji algoritma pencarian lokasi wisata dengan akurasi 100%. Sedangkan pengujian yang menerapkan metode System Usability Scale, mendapat nilai sebesar 78.25, berarti termasuk ke dalam grade C, dengan adjective ratings yaitu good, serta acceptability ratings bernilai acceptable.
