Abstract

It is noted that local wisdom is considered as an adjustable thing, flexible so that in variously social element openly to discuss it out. The main topics to discuss is to correlate local wisdom phenomenon and also found a social dilemma might arise there, such as communal activities recorded public see allergic with any old values, having proudly with newly values, it is all viewed from social anthropology perspective. This research has been done in qualitative approach within a very long time duration period calculated in completing Doctoral program in study, still to do re-study ( another research ) only done them in a short time, it has already data previously reasonable, in this case to community of Ocu on Kabupaten Kampar Riau. Accordingly, a partly of the study is categorized as ethnography research due to the source of data originally from informants chosen purposively under consideration of appropriately quality, figurative value, or someone as considered someone with much knowledge about the topic is discussing to. This study has found own very high strategic values which things can be set as instrument for criticizing even in this case with own initiative to commence re-repairmen particularly to its cultural values holed by local people whose neglect own old cultural values available, unfortunately in highly obsession to receive newly cultural values at any time having not comfortable however with the living pattern and their character in daily life, thence emerging in what generally called lost cultural with local condition is well known with “aghokkan ujan dilangik, ayu dikulam babuangkan”.

Abstract

A public key encryption cryptography system can be utilized to generate ciphertext of a message using a public key. However, this public key encryption cryptography system cannot be utilized if you want to generate ciphertext using several different keys. Solving the problems above can use the Chosen Ciphertext Secure Public Key Threshold Encryption scheme but are the securities from Threshold Encryption really strong in securing messages, therefore the above problems can be analyzed for Data Security Against Chosen Ciphertext Secure Public Key Attacks Using Threshold Encryption Schemes. The work process starts from Setup which functions to generate the server's private key and public key. Then, the process is continued with ShareKeyGen which functions to generate private keys based on the user's identity. After that, the process continues with ShareVerify which serves to verify the key generated from the ShareKeyGen process. The process will be continued again with Combine which serves to generate a private key that will be used in the decryption process. After that, the process will continue with the encryption process of the secret message. The ciphertext obtained will be sent to the recipient. The receiver verifies the ciphertext by running ValidateCT. Finally, the ciphertext is decrypted by running Decrypt. The software created can be used to display the workflow process of the Threshold schema. In addition, it makes it easier to test intercepts of ciphertext messages to other users so that generic securities analysis is carried out in testing the resulting ciphertext. The results of the implementation of Threshold Encryption algorithm scheme can protect important personal data, because it involves human rights, namely the right to access, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to be corrected and the right to transfer personal data safely from attacks.

Abstract

Gender inequality is one of the keys to entrepreneurial activity in general and especially for entrepreneurial intentions in encouraging to set up new businesses. Entrepreneurial intention grows from the presence of entrepreneurial potential, so an entrepreneur needs to have an entrepreneurial intention in itself. It is interesting to study whether the entrepreneurial potential of men is stronger than women so that men have more intentions to set up their new businesses than women?. The study method used is hierarchical multiple regression analysis with a research population of 402 students and the sample to be used is 200 students. Proportional stratified random sampling is a type of probability sampling technique used in this study. Test the validity and reliability using the product-moment correlation formula from Pearson and the formula for calculating Cronbach alpha (α). The results of the analysis show Entrepreneurial potential significantly affects student intention, but gender does not significantly moderate the relationship.

Abstract

Medan City in Indonesia, is rich with iconic forms in the form of historical buildings and cultural products of the past. On the other hand, Medan City tourism has been known since the Dutch colonial era, but has not been supported by the availability of souvenir products. This research article describes the revitalization of the iconic forms of Medan City. The aim is to examine the potential of iconic forms to be used as the basis for the development of relief-dimensional painting as a tourism souvenir product. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The replicated method is a combination of survey method and creation method. Sources of research data are written data, photo data, interview results, notes on the creation process, and appreciative assessments. Data analysis was carried out using an interactive model: data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the iconic shapes of Medan City have great potential to be explored into original painting themes. Technically, the art of painting with relief dimensions is effectively developed with rubber sheet material, supported by strong texture work. Overall, the paintings produced have an aesthetic quality, exclusive as tourism souvenirs.

Abstract

Colonization has had a lasting impact on African life. This movement instilled a new culture within these colonies. Among these African countries is the Congo. On the whole, these countries have experienced some disputes near where it was a question of meeting around an international body which is none other than the Francophonie for the countries or states colonized by France. It is in this sense that under the leadership of three African Heads of State,Léopold Sédar Senghor from Senegal, Habib Bourguiba from Tunisia and Hamani Diori from Niger, and of Prince Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia, the representatives of 21 states and governments signed in Niamey, on March 20, 1970, the convention establishing the Agency for Cultural and Technical Cooperation (ACCT). New intergovernmental organization based on the sharing of a common language, French. The Congo being colonized by France adheres to the International Organization of Francophonie on December 7 to 9, 1981, during the general conference held in Libreville, Gabon. And the Congolese government has come to understand that ensuring a better vision on culture and politics can lead the Congo to sustainable development. Hence the need for the Congolese state to cooperate with the International Organization of Francophonie for better visibility for the cultural and political promotion of the country. This is what the subject of our study is: the contribution of the OIF in cultural and political matters in the Republic of Congo from 1981 to 2016.

Abstract

This study was an inquiry into the nexus of the foreign-direct investment (FDI) led growth hypothesis, and how it translates into the development of the Nigerian economy as of 1970 – 2018. The study utilized secondary data from the ‘World Development Indicators’ which were analysed using the Bounds test for cointegration and the ‘autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach to divulge both the short-term cum the long-term influence of foreign direct investment net inflow on ‘economic development’ of Nigeria. The Bounds test was conducted after the unit root test revealed that the variables were stationary at mixed order of level and first difference. The outcome of the ARDL Bounds test supported confirmation of long-term association among the variables. The ARDL short-run error correction showed that 14.62% of the instability in the model was corrected yearly. In the short-term, it was discovered that FDI wielded a deleterious and substantial weight on ‘economic development of Nigeria. Meanwhile, the long-term estimates indicated that FDI influenced economic development positively, though not in a significant manner. The Granger causality test supported the fact that FDI causes ‘economic development’ in Nigeria. Given this potential of FDI exerting a positive effect on ‘economic development’, the paper recommended that bottlenecks inherent in FDI influxes in the country should be removed so as to reap the fullest benefits of such inflows in Nigeria.
