Abstract

The objective of research is to fi nd out the determinant factor of Student Entrepreneurship Intention inSebelas Maret University (UNS) and how such the factors interrelated, so that it is expected that from thisresearch there will be found further development of entrepreneurship education program toward the creationof entrepreneur from the campus that in turn will encourage the nation’s progress and competitiveness. Thenumber of sample was determined by individual faculties consisting of 35 respondents, with the total sample of315 respondents, so that it met the data feasibility minimum criteria with structural equation model (SEM).The result of research shows that the subjective norm (family or friend), positive attitude to entrepreneurshipand UNS’s institutional support are the determinant factors supporting the UNS’s student intention to haveentrepreneurship. The implication of research in the future is that there should be classifi cation among thebusiness and non-business students; and geographical coverage expansion between the university withinindustrial area and that far from industrial area.Keywords: Subjective norm, attitude, intention, having entrepreneurship, students

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to guide and direct the prostitutes (WTS) in Surakarta and it’s surrounding environment on the nursing house "Wanita Utama" Surakarta who want to change profession to have the insight and skills of entrepreneurial attitudes and skills of batik. Debriefing is done by providing counseling and training-related such as entrepreneurship training, providing knowledge about batik and batik business, as well as training with the kinds of batik: handmade writing batik, printed batik and combination batik. The implication of this activity is the opening insight into the participants on the batik activities and can be seen from the enthusiasm of participants to propose on batik courses in other kinds such as batik dyeing. Most of the participants wanted a follow-up of these training efforts as well as assistance and for giving a confidence to be responsible for their future.

Abstract

This study analyzes the direct effect of affective commitment to the supervisor on turnover intention and the indirect effect of affective commitment to the supervisor and affective commitment to the work group on turnover intention with affective commitment to the organization being mediating variable. By using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which assisted by application program of Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS), the result indicated that affective commitment to the supervisor and work group have indirect effect only on turnover intention. The indirect effect is mediated by affective commitment to the organization. The suggestions for further study and the limitation of this research are discussed.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of perceived fairness, trust and organizational commitment for contract employees. Specifically, this study aims to examine the mediating role of trust (towards leaders and organizations) on the relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment. The respondents in this study were temporary lecturers at the five best Muhammadiyah private universities in Indonesia. The survey results found 182 lectures who were willing to become respondents. The results of this study that organizational justice cannot increase organizational commitment. Nevertheless, distributive and procedural justice can increase their trust in organizations. Similarly, informational justice can increase trust in supervisors. The results of this study showed the important role of trust in management and trust in supervisors as a mediator in the relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment.

Abstract

Program pengabdian dilakukan pada sentra UKM Batik di desa Pilang Kabupaten Sragen. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk pengembangan UKM dalam peningkatan pangsa pasar melalui aspek pemasaran online. UKM Batik desa Pilang memiliki masalah pada jumlah permintaan yang stagnan, padahal kapasitas produksi masih belum beroperasi dengan maksimal. Dari hasil diskusi antara tim pengabdian dan masyarakat dapat diindikasikan bahwa UKM masih belum memaksimalkan media promosi dan periklanan.Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan melalui pelatihan peningkatan pengetahuan dan praktik pemasaran multichanel dengan menggunakan sosial media. Luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: 1. Meningkatnya pemahaman dan kreatifitas UKM Batik dalam pemanfaatan sosial media sebagai media promosi, 2. UKM Batik mampu mengelola berbagai media promosi berbasis online.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline, work motivation, job satisfaction, and work competence of the organization’s commitment to employees in RSO Prof. Dr. R Soeharso Surakarta. This research was explanatory research with survey research design. Data used primary data. The population of all employees who work in RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso totaling 626 people, were taken a sample of 244 people with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a scale linkert. The data analysis includes validation test, reliability and multiple regression analysis, t-test, F and R2. The results showed discipline work positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, motivation positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, competence work positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, and the discipline of work, work motivation , job satisfaction and work competence significant effect together against the organization’s commitmentto employee hospital Orthopedics Prof. Dr. R. Abstract

This paper aims to examine the process of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) employee in hospitality industry especially in hotel and restaurant. The author test the role of transformational leadership and mediation role of affective commitment and work engagement toward OCB in workplace. Data were colleted from 218 hospitality employees in frontliner area.  Instrument convergen and discriminant validity and hypothesize test using structural equation model - partial least square (SEM-PLS) method with SMART PLS 3.  The result show that transformational leadership have positive effect toward OCB. In addition,  affective commitment and work engagement also show partial mediation effect in relationship between transformational leadership and OCB in workplace. The results showed that transformational leadership has no direct effect on OCB like most other Asian studies. This study found that transformational leadership can influence OCB through the mediating effect of affective commitment and work engagement. These results are expected to enrich the psychological mechanisms that can explain the effect of transformaional leadership on OCB. Future research is expected to be able to explain a more comprehensive flow of transformational leadership, affective commitment, work engagement and OCB.
