Abstract

It is approximately 7% of Indonesian people undergo psychotic mental disorder or schizophrenia. Special Region of Yogyakarta in Indonesian is on the second rank as the area whose high number of schizophrenia; for about 10 occurrences per 1000 citizens and 80% of patients treated at psychiatric hospital are caused by schizophrenia. A response of a medication therapy can be measured through doctor diagnosis based on the measurement parameter such as The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale-Excited Component (PANSS-EC) and Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF). Those two parameters are important variables that will be shown objectively by the assessment results. This research aimed to find out the different value of PANSS-EC and GAF, before and after the therapy of atypical-typical and atypical-typical on the schizophrenia patients at Psychiatric Hospital of Grhasia Yogyakarta. The research design here is Prospective Cohort. The criteria of inclusive patient was adults (18-65 years old), being hospitalized, undergoing atypical-atypical and atypical-typical therapy, and possessing complete medical record. The research data were gained from the medical records which then analyzed using univariate test to illustrate the patient distribution. Bivariate test was conducted to compare and correlate the value of PANSS-EC and GAF. The number of samples were 32 patients which were divided into 2 groups; atypical-atypical (n=16) and atypical-typical (n=16). The results showed that the value of PANSS-EC after therapy in both groups experienced a significant decrease (p=0.001). However, there was no significant difference between the two groups of patients with psychotic mental disorders or schizophrenia in a mental hospital and there reseach no significant difference in effectiveness between doses and frecuency of antipsychotic therapy regimens in schizophrenic patients with a significant value of p>0.05

Abstract

Infusion is a medical device under certain conditions used to replay lost fluids and balance the body's electrolytes. In emergency condition for examples in patients with dehydration, severe metabolic stress that causes hypovolemic shock, acidosis, dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), burn hemorhagle shock and trauma, infusion are needed immediately to replace lost body fluids. The manufacture of this system use two LM393 Optocoupler Infrared Sensors. Infrared sensors detect deteeted objects, namely droplets. If no droples are detected, the infrared sensor will not work or is a cut-off condition. This system is the Internet of Things (IoT). With the platform used, Ubidots, so that monitoring can be done with a smartphone. A warning will be send the infusion level has reached 100ml, so Ubidots will automatically send a notification in the form of an E-mail.

Abstract

Consumers' dependence on product reviews provided by other consumers makes consumers make social media influencers (SMI) a source of information and reference before purchasing products. The influence of SMI on their followers has led many beauty marketers to use social media influencers to communicate their products. However, the increasing use of influencer marketing by marketers has led to consumer suspicion of the authenticity of influencers. Therefore, based on the stimulus-organism-response (SOR) framework, this study analyzes consumer behavior through the content attributes and interaction strategies exposed by social media influencers to followers, leading to consumers' internal perceptions of parasocial interaction, hedonic value, and utilitarian, and ultimately influencing consumers' response of purchase intention. This study used PLS-SEM as a data analysis technique using a sample of 363 respondents. The PLS-SEM results revealed that content attributes (i.e., attractiveness and prestige) and interaction strategies (i.e., interactivity) positively influence parasocial interaction and, in turn, lead to purchase intention. The results also show that parasocial interaction has a significant effect on hedonic (perceived transparency and perceived enjoyment) and utilitarian (informativeness and credibility) responses. It was also found that hedonic (perceived enjoyment) and utilitarian (credibility) responses significantly influenced purchase intention. Meanwhile, the hedonic response (perceived transparency) and utilitarian response (informativeness) did not significantly affect followers' purchase intention. This research demonstrates the role of content attributes and interaction strategies in creating parasocial interactions and the effects of parasocial interactions on hedonic, utilitarian and purchase intention responses. Based on the results of this study, marketers and influencers are advised to build intimate relationships with the audience to increase purchase intention. This relationship-building can be created through high interactive power, attractiveness, and prestige content. Then, it is also recommended to pay attention to aspects of audience comfort and maintain the credibility of influencers to shape the buying interest of the audience of social media influencer content.

Abstract

Ocean currents are one of the movements of horizontal or vertical mass movement of seawater that takes place continuously. The purpose of this study is to determine current conditions in open water close to narrow strait waters, as well as canal estuaries. Current data is the result of measurements that have been carried out using ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) mini type ADP-SONTEK equipment on May 16, 2018, while tidal data refers to the recording results of the Makassar BIG tidal station. The results showed that the total surface current speed ranged from 0.017 – 0.375 m/sec with a dominant direction to the west or to open water both at high tide and at low tide. While the result of separation, the speed of tidal currents ranges from 0.032 – 0.343 m / sec.

Abstract

Background: The risk management program will run well with commitment and good management. This study aims to describe the experience of nurse managers in implementing risk management in hospitals. Research methodology: this study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique used Focus Group Interviews with 12 nurse managers consisting of 1 Sub Installation Head, 7 Unit Heads, and 4 Team Leaders. Interviews were carried out three times, and each implementation consisted of four participants. Analysis using thematic content and consolidation for reporting qualitative research (COREQ) was used as a guide to research reporting. The research found three inhibiting factors in implementing risk management: 1) Busyness, 2) Lack of knowledge, and 3) Lack of structured monitoring and evaluation. Conclusion: The active participation of nurse managers in implementing risk management is very influential in the successful implementation of risk management in hospitals. Good time management, increasing the level of knowledge, and supported by a systematic risk management monitoring-evaluation system means that risk management will be carried out well
