Abstract

Cases of bullying or what is known as bullying are a problem that never ends in society, especially among children and teenagers. This bullying behavior is carried out by stronger individuals against weaker individuals with the aim of hurting and intimidating. So children with special needs who have physical and mental limitations are often the victims of bullying. Problems that often occur in society require strong support from within or from the family to face external problems or the victim's environment. Therefore, interpersonal communication between parents is very important for children with special needs who are victims of bullying. This is presented in the film Dear Frankie, where there is interpersonal communication between Frankie's parents and Frankie, the child who is deaf. Where Frankie can act mature, independent and confident in facing his friend who is a bully.

Abstract

This study comprehensively analyzes the impact and implications of the planned increase in Value Added Tax (VAT) rates from 11% to 12% in the wider context of the Indonesian economy. Using an analytical-descriptive approach with a literature review method, this study examines various dimensions of policy impacts, including fiscal, macroeconomic, sectoral, and implementation feasibility aspects. This study found that the increase in VAT has the potential to increase state revenues by IDR 85-95 trillion per year, but also has potential consequences of inflationary pressures of 1.1-1.4% and a short-term slowdown in economic growth of 0.3-0.4%. From a sectoral perspective, MSMEs face significant pressure with a decline in margins of 2-3%, while the formal sector shows better resilience. The implementation feasibility analysis indicates that the readiness of the tax administration system has reached 85%, although there are still several challenges in the supervision aspect. This study recommends a gradual implementation approach with an increase of 0.5% per year, accompanied by strengthening social assistance programs and special incentives for MSMEs. Periodic monitoring and evaluation framework are key to ensuring the effectiveness of this policy while minimizing negative impacts on the economy. This study concluded that the success of this policy depends on the right timing of implementation, institutional readiness, and comprehensive supporting policies.

Abstract

Immunization is the most effective primary prevention against infectious diseases. Immunization protects individuals from serious illnesses and prevents the spread of infectious diseases. In Indonesia, every baby is required to receive complete basic immunization according to the immunization schedule issued by the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI). The Ministry of Health noted a decrease in the number of complete basic immunization coverage in March-April 2020 and the same period in 2019. There was almost a 4.7% difference in the percentage of complete immunization coverage in 2019 and 2020. This figure experienced a decline after complete basic immunization coverage in January-2020. February 2020 was stated to have increased from the same period in the previous year (CNN Indonesia, 2020). This research was conducted using an analytical observational method with a cross sectional research design. The total research sample was 139 respondents and the sampling technique used a total sampling technique. Based on the Chi squere test, there is a relationship between place of delivery (p-Value 0.00 < 0.05) and completeness of basic immunization during the Covid-19 pandemic in the working area of the Parigi Health Center, there is a relationship between birth attendants (p-Value 0.00 < 0.05) and the role of health workers (p-value 0.026 < 0.05) with complete basic immunization. For the Parigi health center, it is recommended that health workers develop more promotive and preventive programs and provide assistance to traditional birth attendants so that all births are under the supervision of health workers.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of work integrity and work capability on employee performance through professionalism at Prime Customs and Excise office Type A Tanjung Priok (KPUBC Type A Tanjung Priok). This research was a quantitative method with an explanatory research approach. The instrument used in this research was questionnaire arranged on a five-point Likert scale. 293 respondents who are active employees at Prime Customs and Excise office Type A Tanjung Priok (KPUBC Type A Tanjung Priok) were taken as the sample. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS method with SmartPLS software version 3.2.29. The results of the research using the SEM-PLS method showed that integrity had a positive and significant effect on employee professionalism and employee performance. Work capability had a positive and significant effect on employee professionalism and employee performance. Professionalism had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and partially mediated the integrity and employee performance, and partially mediated work capability and employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the Independent Board of Commissioners, Institutional Ownership, and Corporate Social Responsibility on Financial Performance. The research focuses on manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019-2023 period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 26 companies as the research objects. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression methods. The study results show that (1) The Independent board of commissioners has no significant impact on financial performance and shows a negative relationship. (2) Institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, (3) Corporate Social Responsibility does not have a significant effect on financial performance and tends to exhibit a negative relationship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sumber daya teknologi informasi (TI) dan keterampilan dosen dalam mendukung digitalisasi pembelajaran di Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong. Dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan akan pembelajaran berbasis digital, kesiapan infrastruktur TI dan kompetensi dosen menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan implementasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode kuesioner, melibatkan dosen dari berbagai program studi sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan studi literatur untuk mengevaluasi ketersediaan sumber daya TI, seperti perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan akses internet, serta keterampilan dosen dalam menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong telah menyediakan sumber daya TI yang memadai, namun masih terdapat kendala akan kuantitas titik hotspot di kelas-kelas. masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam keterampilan dosen, terutama dalam penguasaan aplikasi pembelajaran dan strategi pengajaran interaktif berbasis digital. Studi ini merekomendasikan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk dosen dan optimalisasi sumber daya TI guna mendukung transformasi digital yang lebih efektif dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup perlunya kebijakan strategis untuk mendukung transformasi digital yang lebih efektif, termasuk alokasi anggaran yang memadai dan pengembangan kebijakan inovatif guna mendukung pembelajaran berbasis digital. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar penting bagi upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di era digital, khususnya di institusi maritim.

Abstract

Pasar wisata religi, termasuk haji dan umrah, terus berkembang dengan kompetisi yang semakin ketat di antara penyedia layanan, sementara perkembangan teknologi digital dan pendekatan omnichannel mengubah cara perusahaan interaksi dengan pelanggan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman, kepuasan, serta loyalitas pelanggan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi kesenjangan pengetahuan terkait pengaruh Perceived Omnichannel Customer Experience, Customer Relationship Management, dan Social Media terhadap Customer Satisfaction dan Customer Loyalty dengan moderasi Brand Image. Penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan dengan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan menyebarkan kuesioner jamaah umrah yang menggunakan jasa travel umrah minimal 1 kali, pengguna media sosial, dan pernah mengunjungi kantor pusat/cabang, media sosial, website, dan aplikasi Travel XYZ. Hasil temuan penelitian ini mendukung 5 hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dan 7 hipotesis lainnya tidak mendukung. Perceived omnichannel customer experience secara signifikan meningkatkan customer satisfaction dan customer loyalty, sementara customer relationship management langsung meningkatkan customer loyalty tanpa mempengaruhi customer satisfaction. Social media tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction dan customer loyalty, dan brand image tidak memoderasi hubungan customer relationship management dengan customer satisfaction dan customer loyalty. Perusahaan Travel XYZ harus fokus pada peningkatan pengalaman omnichannel yang konsisten dan kualitas layanan, serta mengoptimalkan customer relationship management untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based online store application for CV AishaStore.id, a small and medium enterprise specializing in selling herbal products. The application is designed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, which includes phases such as requirements analysis, system design, application development, testing, and maintenance. Utilizing programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and CSS, along with MySQL as the database, the application offers key features including stock management, product catalog, transaction system, and user account management. Testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure all features function according to user needs. The results of the study indicate that the application successfully improves operational efficiency by automating stock management, simplifying transaction recording, and providing a responsive and user-friendly shopping experience. Additionally, the application expands market reach and supports better decision-making through a structured system. This study is expected to serve as an effective solution for SMEs in addressing digital challenges, with further development potential such as integration with mobile platforms, advanced analytics features, and enhanced data security to broaden functionality and user convenience.

Abstract

Social media's role has grown significantly, emerging as a powerful tool for companies to execute marketing strategies. While numerous studies have delved into social media, few have delved into the impact of Social Media Marketing Activities. This research examines the effects of such activities on Social Identification, Perceived Value, and Satisfaction. To empirically assess these effects, an online survey was conducted among 350 social media users for data analysis. The findings reveal that Social Media Marketing Activities indirectly influence Satisfaction through Social Identification and Perceived Value. Additionally, Social Identification and Perceived Value have a direct impact on Satisfaction, subsequently affecting Continuance Intention, Participate Intention, Purchase Intention, and Revisit Intention. This study offers managerial insights for companies in the marketing realm, emphasizing the importance of crafting and implementing innovative marketing strategies on social media that align with consumer preferences. This, in turn, fosters Social Identification and cultivates positive consumer perceived value, ultimately leading to enhanced Satisfaction.

Abstract

General elections in Indonesia are an important instrument of democracy, but they are often colored by problems such as fraud and violations, so that doubts arise about the results of the votes obtained by presidential and vice presidential candidates. This study aims to analyze the role and authority of the Constitutional Court (MK) in resolving election disputes and identify the obstacles faced by the Constitutional Court in carrying out its functions. The method used is normative legal research with document studies, focusing on the authority of the Constitutional Court and its impact on democracy, using primary legal materials such as the 1945 Constitution and Law No. 7 of 2017 as well as secondary materials such as books and journals. The results of the study show that the Constitutional Court has a crucial role in maintaining democracy in Indonesia through its authority to resolve disputes over election results. The Constitutional Court has the authority to decide disputes over the results of the General Election (PHPU) of the President and Vice President, members of the DPR, DPD, and DPRD. The dispute resolution process at the Constitutional Court is regulated in Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections, which allows the parties who have the right to submit dispute applications to the Constitutional Court. However, the Constitutional Court also faces various challenges, such as a very high workload, complexity in the evidentiary process, political pressure, and time constraints. Nevertheless, the Constitutional Court remains committed to maintaining integrity and justice to ensure political stability and respect the voice of the people.
