Abstract

This study aims to analyze data security in electronic health information systems (EHIS). With the increasing use of information technology in healthcare, data security issues are becoming increasingly important given the sensitivity of medical information. The research methodology involved an in-depth literature review as well as case study analysis on several hospitals that have implemented SIKE. Data analysis techniques included evaluation of system vulnerabilities, identification of potential threats, and assessment of data protection mechanisms in place. The results showed that despite various efforts to improve data security, there are still many vulnerabilities that can be exploited by irresponsible parties. The main threats include cyberattacks, data leakage, and unauthorized access. In addition, this study found that the implementation of security protocols such as data encryption, multi-factor authentication, and regular audits can significantly reduce these risks. However, this research has several limitations, including a limited sample of case studies that may not represent the entire SIKE landscape in Indonesia and limited access to internal hospital data. Nonetheless, this research makes a significant contribution in providing practical recommendations for SIKE managers to improve data security, as well as a basis for further research in this area.

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly changed the business landscape, encouraging technology startups to adapt innovative and sustainable business model development strategies. This research aims to identify and analyze digital business model development strategies implemented by technology startups in the face of digital transformation dynamics. A qualitative approach is used in this research with a case study method on several technology startups in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with startup founders and managers, as well as document analysis and direct observation. The results show that there are three main strategies in developing digital business models, namely: (1) the application of artificial intelligence-based technology and data analytics to increase the added value of products and services, (2) strengthening the digital ecosystem through strategic collaboration with business partners and stakeholders, and (3) flexible and subscription-based revenue models to improve business sustainability. In addition, adaptation to regulations and market trends is a key factor in the successful implementation of digital business models. The conclusion of this study confirms that the success of startups in developing digital business models depends not only on technological innovation, but also on the ability to adapt to changes in the business environment. This study contributes to academics and practitioners in understanding the dynamics of digital business models as well as strategies that can be applied to improve startup competitiveness in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Sheikh Hamzah Al Fansury in Subulussalam City prioritizes optimal educational services, including in the aspect of paying the Education Development Contribution (SPP) for around 300 students. The growing number of new students requires the development of a more efficient and detailed payment system. Currently, the payment process still uses manual methods that tend to be ineffective. The recording of SPP payment transactions is done through cards which are then manually recapitulated into the ledger by the treasurer. This condition creates a risk of errors and data loss, especially if the payment card is lost. With the SPP payment application, it is expected that efficiency and data security will increase. SPP payments will be recorded more accurately and stored securely in the database. The use of a computerized information system is also expected to minimize errors and facilitate access to payment data, especially in making financial reports. This research is an effort to develop a web-based SPP payment application for the Sheikh Hamzah Al Fansury Islamic Boarding School. A qualitative approach was used to understand the needs of potential users, while the waterfall software development method was chosen to ensure a structured application design process. The results showed that this application was successful in simplifying the payment process, printing receipts, and presenting reports accurately. It is hoped that this application can be an effective solution to improve the quality of tuition payment services for students at the Sheikh Hamzah Al Fansury Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of online learning applications in supporting academic learning. The research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method involving [number] students from [institution or study program], who have used various online learning platforms such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and Moodle during their learning activities. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire focusing on user experience, ease of access, interactivity, and perceived learning outcomes. The results indicate that a majority of students perceive online learning applications as effective in facilitating flexible and accessible learning. However, some limitations were noted, particularly in terms of internet connectivity, user interface, and reduced face-to-face interaction. The study concludes that while online learning applications are generally well-received, their effectiveness can be improved through better technical support and instructional design. These findings provide valuable insights for educators and developers in optimizing digital learning environments.

Abstract

Drought, intensified by climate change, poses a significant threat, especially to agricultural regions, necessitating effective monitoring and adaptation strategies (Netshimbupfe et al., 2022; Raksapatcharawong, 2019). This paper explores the integration of satellite imagery, weather data, and Geographic Information Systems to improve drought monitoring accuracy and effectiveness. By combining diverse data sources, a comprehensive approach to drought assessment can be created, facilitating timely interventions and mitigation planning (Łągiewska & Bartold, 2025). The study reviews existing methodologies, examines the potential of advanced remote sensing techniques, and emphasizes the role of GIS in spatial analysis and visualization of drought-related information. The focus is on developing a robust framework that can provide detailed insights into drought conditions, supporting sustainable water resource management and agricultural resilience.

Abstract

This study examines the types of pronouns in the Ketapang Malay dialect based on their referents. Three kinds of pronouns—personal, demonstrative, and interrogative—were used to characterise the sentences and original utterances of speakers of the Ketapang Malay dialect whose data were collected. The results demonstrate that every kind of pronoun has a unique phonological form and is employed in various social contexts, reflecting speaker intentions, geographic location, interpersonal relationships, and ownership. Interrogative pronouns display local forms of apə, siapə, manə, ŋapə, cammmanə, and bilə; demonstrative pronouns have variations like seneʔ, sənun, ɲan, bəgeneʔ, gian, and bəgian, which represent deictic distance; and personal pronouns are differentiated by number and degree of formality, such as aku, saya, kaw, sidaʔ, and diə. Possessive pronouns display a combined form with the word noʔ aku ‘mine’. Pronoun forms and functions in the Ketapang Malay dialect are abundant and reflect the social and cultural structure of the local community, according to this investigation.

Abstract

The demand for high-quality 3D assets in the animation and multimedia industry is increasing. One of the main challenges in developing 3D models is the availability of realistic and seamless PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures, especially for fabric-based objects such as amigurumi dolls. This study aims to develop seamless PBR textures based on reference photos of amigurumi dolls using an AI-assisted image processing approach . The process begins with data collection in the form of amigurumi doll photos, which are then processed using generative AI technology to generate initial texture patterns. Next, Adobe Photoshop is used for refinement so that the textures meet seamless standards and PBR components such as diffuse/albedo, normal, and roughness maps. The results show that this approach can produce high-quality PBR textures efficiently compared to manual methods. These findings can be used as a reference in the production of textile-based 3D assets for animation, games, and interactive learning media.
