Kehadiran Journal Informatic, Education And Management (JIEM) tidak hanya bermaksud untuk mempublikasikan hasil kajian empiris dan teoritis terkait dengan system informasi, system komputer, pendidikan, dan manajemen. Tetapi lebih dari itu, JIEM menjadi salah satu sarana diseminasi hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan ketiga bidang ilmu tersebut.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been widely applied in various fields, including important aspects in the development of enterprise information systems. This research aims to explore the use of AI in improving the efficiency of enterprise information systems and analyse its impact on organisational performance. In this research method, we collected primary data from several companies that have implemented AI systems in their operations. Secondary data was also collected from related literature, including case studies and previous research in this field. Furthermore, we conducted a qualitative analysis of the data and a quantitative evaluation of the impact of AI implementation in improving the efficiency of information systems. The results show that the implementation of AI has resulted in a significant increase in the efficiency of the company's information system. AI-assisted systems are able to automatically process and analyse data, predict market trends, identify anomalies, and provide strategic recommendations for decision-making. These efficiencies in turn improve operational performance, lower costs, and enhance more timely and accurate decision-making. We conclude that the use of AI in enterprise information systems effectively improves operational efficiency and organisational performance. However, important steps need to be taken to ensure successful implementation of AI, such as providing adequate resources, developing employee competencies, and considering the social and ethical impacts of using AI in a business context.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize business processes through information system integration using a case study in Banda Aceh. This research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study research method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation. Research respondents consist of managers and employees involved in the business processes to be integrated. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis. The research results show that information system integration significantly increases the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes in Banda Aceh. Information system integration enables faster data processing, better monitoring of business processes, and more accurate decision making. Additionally, information system integration also enables better collaboration between different departments and stakeholders. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that information system integration plays an important role in optimizing business processes in Banda Aceh. By integrating information systems, companies can increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. However, the implementation of information systems integration also faces challenges, such as technical difficulties and changes in organizational culture. Therefore, strong commitment and support from company management is needed to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Increased digitalization in business transformation has provided significant benefits, but has also created new challenges for information security. This research aims to analyze the cyber security challenges faced in the era of digital transformation, with a focus on Information Systems. The research method used is a comprehensive analysis of literature and case studies to gain an in-depth understanding of these issues. In this research, we found that there are a number of significant challenges related to cyber security in implementing digital transformation, including malware attacks, phishing, insufficient network security, and privacy violations. Causal analysis concluded that insufficient training and security awareness, as well as weak design in information systems, were the main risk factors. The implication of this research is the need for proactive steps in implementing strong security practices in information systems, including adequate training for employees, careful security monitoring, and early warning of security threats. In addition, the importance of collaboration between organizations, governments and related entities in facing increasingly global threats was also highlighted.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of Big Data analytics to support decision making in Health Information Systems (GIS): associated opportunities and challenges. The aim of this research is to identify the opportunities offered by Big Data analytics in the context of GIS as well as identify the challenges that need to be overcome to effectively implement Big Data analytics in GIS. The research method used in this study involved a literature review of relevant scientific publications on Big Data analytics in CIS. The information collected from this literature review is then analyzed systematically to identify existing opportunities and challenges. The research results show that Big Data analytics has great potential to improve decision making in CIS. Opportunities identified include improving understanding of disease patterns, epidemic forecasting, developing predictive models for diagnosis and treatment, and improving real-time patient monitoring. However, this research also revealed several challenges that need to be overcome, including data privacy and security issues, complex data integration, and limited existing resources. Based on the results of this research, it is concluded that Big Data analytics has great potential to support decision making in CIS. However, successful implementation requires effective addressing of the associated challenges. In facing these challenges, collaboration between health stakeholders and Big Data analytics experts is essential.

Abstract

This research aims to improve user experience in e-commerce through the use of personalization algorithms in information system design. The research methods used involve literature analysis, prototype development, and user testing. Literature analysis was conducted to understand the concept of personalization, relevant algorithms, and factors influencing user experience in e-commerce. Based on this understanding, a prototype e-commerce information system with personalization features was implemented. User testing is carried out to collect data about user experiences before and after implementing a personalization algorithm. The research results show that the use of personalization algorithms significantly improves user experience in e-commerce. Users report feeling more engaged, increased relevance of content, and ease in finding products that match their preferences. Apart from that, this research also identifies several important factors that need to be considered in the design of e-commerce information systems that use personalization algorithms, such as data privacy, transparency, and user control. In conclusion, the use of personalization algorithms can effectively improve user experience in e-commerce, with the important note of considering relevant factors.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of blockchain technology in securing supply chain information systems. The research method used involves literature study and qualitative analysis of blockchain implementation in the context of existing supply chain information systems. The research results show that blockchain technology can play an important role in strengthening the security and integrity of supply chain information systems. By using characteristics such as decentralization, transparency, and reliability, blockchain can help fight security threats such as cyberattacks, counterfeiting, and data manipulation. Through the use of blockchain, information can be secured, verified and safely accessed by stakeholders in the supply chain. Apart from that, blockchain can also increase efficiency and accountability in supply chain information systems. In conclusion, blockchain technology has significant potential in securing supply chain information systems and can contribute to increasing trust between stakeholders.

Abstract

Stakeholder mapping is an important step in managing conservation areas to understand and involve interested parties in decision making. Bur Lingga Isaq Park in Central Aceh is a conservation area that has high biodiversity and is important to preserve. This research aims to carry out stakeholder mapping in the management of Bur Lingga Isaq Park, identify the interests and roles of each stakeholder, and evaluate their level of involvement in decision making regarding conservation areas. The research methods used include document analysis, interviews, and participant observation. The collected data was analyzed descriptively and using stakeholder analysis tools such as interest and power matrices. The research results show that there are several stakeholders involved in the management of Bur Lingga Isaq Park, including local government, local communities, non-government organizations, and educational institutions. Their interests include economic, social, cultural and conservation aspects. The level of stakeholder involvement varies, with some stakeholders having a more dominant role in decision making. These findings provide valuable insights for conservation area managers in strengthening collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring continued participation in decision making. In the context of Bur Lingga Isaq Park, an inclusive and sustainable framework is needed to ensure successful management of conservation areas. This research also provides a basis for further studies in identifying more effective and sustainable management strategies by involving diverse stakeholders and interests in the management of conservation areas.

Abstract

Levita Property Banda Aceh merupakan salah satu perusahaan penjualan rumah di Banda Aceh. Penggunaan sistem informasi penjualan rumah masih dilakukan dengan cara pencatatan dibuku besar dan penginputan ke microsoft word/excel. Rutinitas penggunaan sistem informasi penjualan rumah masih kurang efesien dan penyimpanan berkas masih belum teratur rapi pada tempat penyimpanan. Seiring waktu, rekap data dalam bentuk catatan memenuhi tempat penyimpanan dan redundasi berkas pun terkadang tidak dapat dihindari karena prosedur kerja yang kurang terstruktur oleh pengguna. Adapun metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian terhadap sistem informasi penjualan rumah yang sedang berjalan adalah metode pengumpulan data yang bersumber dari studi kepustakaan serta lapangan (pengamatan dan wawancara), serta metode bahasa pemograman webbase dengan basis data terintegrasi. Penggunaan sistem informasi penjualan rumah berbasis web yang dirancang menjamin kemudahan dalam pengelolaan data penjualan rumah. Hal ini tentu akan melancarkan proses sirkulasi data penjualan rumah secara keseluruhan. Implementasi aplikasi rancangan mengindikasikan penggunaan waktu yang relatif singkat pada rutinitas pendataan dan pelaporan. Pengurangan waktu 60% pada proses penginputan penjualan rumah dan 44% pada pembuatan laporan dengan memangkas 52% pengeluaran biaya pada sistem terdahulu.

Abstract

Photocopy Arashiyama adalah sebuah usaha yang bergerak dibidang usaha photocopy yang berlokasi di jeulingke kota banda aceh ini telah menyediakan kebutuhan Alat tulis kantor diantaranya alat tulis, kertas, buku, file organizer dan peralatan kantor umum. Untuk menunjang pelayanan pelanggan khususnya dibidang penjualan Alat Tulis Kantor (ATK) maka diperlukan sistem informasi yang handal. Saat ini Photocopy Arashiyama permasalahan sering dijumpai pada bagian administrasi pada pelaksanaannya belum efesien karena sistem pembayaran saat ini masih bersifat manual, belum secara komputerisasi. Sistem yang digunakan khususnya proses penjualan tidak efesien karena Photocopy Arashiyama masih melakukan sistem secara sederhana. Bentuk laporan berupa data dalam lembaran-lembaran masih ditulis tangan. Sulit untuk mencari data-data yang diperlukan karena harus mengecek lembaran-lembaran laporan. Diharapkan dengan adanya sebuah sistem informasi yang baik yaitu dengan sistem terkomputerisasi maka dapat memudahkan Photocopy Arashiyama dalam pengecekan barang yang tersedia maupun barang yang telah terjual serta memudahkan bagi pemilik photocopy dalam melayani pelanggan kedepannya.
