Abstract

This study aims to use the TGT cooperative learning model to improve the learning achievement of class VII-B students of SMP Negeri 5 Kendari in Natural Science learning. This research was conducted in class VII-B SMP Negeri 5 Kendari. The subjects studied were students of class VII-B, totaling 34 students, consisting of 22 girls and 12 boys. The results of the study in three learning cycles were: 1) The learning outcomes achieved by students in cycle I who obtained a value of ≥ 70 were 17 students (50%), 2) the learning outcomes achieved by students in cycle II who obtained a value of ≥ 70 as many as 22 students (64.7%), and 3) the learning outcomes achieved by students in cycle III who obtained a value of ≥ 70 were 29 students (85.3%). There has been an increase in learning outcomes in cycle I when compared to the initial test where 17 students completed learning when compared to 14 students in the initial test. In cycle III there has been an increase in learning outcomes when compared to the second cycle where the number of students who completed classically was 29 students (85.3%) with an average value of 75.0 when compared to 22 students who completed the second cycle (64, 7%) with an average value of 69.6. The use of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model in Natural Science learning can improve the learning achievement of class VII-B students of SMP Negeri 5 Kendari.

Abstract

Abstract This Action Research aims to improve learning motivation and physics learning outcomes of students in XKR3 class of SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta through Lesson Study in learning Fluid and Wave Competence Physics. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings, each meeting with an allocation of 3 lesson hours. Every meeting with Lesson Study includes: plan, do, see. Each cycle includes four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that the increase in motivation to learn in the first cycle amounted to 83.33%, in the second cycle amounted to 88.89% an increase of 5.56%. The increase in the achievement of the pre-cycle average learning outcomes 46.67, the first cycle an average of 55.71 complete 34.29%, the second cycle an average of 66.25, complete 37.5%. This research is 2 cycles, because in cycle II, learning motivation is more than 85%, and learning outcomes are more than 35%, Lesson study needs to be applied and continued in learning because of an increase in both learning motivation and learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide clear information about what, why, and how to learn to write/write using the clustering method and quantum teaching approach. Writing learning activities with the clustering method and quantum teaching approach were carried out in grade V SDN 2 Lamokato Kolaka, starting from curriculum review, program preparation, program presentation, and evaluation. The results showed that: (a) improving the quality of the student learning process seen from the activeness of students in participating in the learning process can be an indicator of the success of learning assessment; (b) the results of the student learning outcomes that reached an average of 8.03, while in the assessment test the average score was only 5.26. Also, the results of statistical analysis using the t-test showed 21,889 results. While the t table price at α = 0.05 is 2.04. Thus, learning writing using the clustering method and quantum teaching approach in class VI SDN 2 Lamokato has significant results; and (c) learning to write/compose using the clustering method and quantum teaching approach is a learning model that can educate students' emotions, activate the right and left hemispheres of the brain, and be able to provide skills to face life in the future.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Batam in Class XI OIN, where the students' abilities for the sensor and transducer competency material were quite low. The purpose of this classroom action research is to determine whether the Problem Base Learning learning model can improve student achievement. The data collection method is a learning achievement test. The data analysis method is descriptive both for qualitative data and for quantitative data. The results obtained from this study are that participatory discussion can improve student achievement. The results of the learning achievement of students with an average value obtained in Cycle I was 81 with 74% learning completeness. In Cycle II the average value is 92 with learning completeness 87%, so it is found that the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Whatsapp application in learning on the subject of the human reproductive system in class IXE at SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga for the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted through several processes, namely: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation or observation, and (4) reflection on the four steps that constitute one cycle. For data management the results of the study were carried out by tabulating the value of each student from several aspects of the assessment that had been predetermined by the researcher which was composed as a research instrument. From the data analysis, it was found that in Cycle I which caused students classically to have not reached the Minimum Learning Completion Criteria (KBM) because it was influenced by several factors, including the ability to understand the material which was still quite low for students and in Cycle II the results showed that The minimum learning completeness criteria have been achieved well so that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in using the Whatsapp application in Class IXE at SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga

Abstract

This study aims to describe student achievement in learning Islamic Cultural History in class VII A SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga after using the Information search method. The research model used in this research is Classroom Action Research. The object in the study was 30 students of class VII A SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga. The instruments in this study were observation or observation sheets and Indonesian language learning tests. Data analysis was carried out by using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results obtained by referring to the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) are 70%. In the pre-cycle, the classical completeness was obtained by 13 students or 43.33% who reached the learning completeness indicator with a value of ≥ 65, while those who did not achieve completeness were 17 students or 56.67%. The results of the first cycle obtained classical completeness were 24 students or 80% who reached the learning completeness indicator with a value of ≥ 65, while those who did not achieve completeness were 6 students or 20%. The results of the second cycle obtained classical completeness were 28 students or 93.33% who reached the learning completeness indicator with a value of ≥ 65, while those who did not achieve completeness were 2 students or 6.67%. Student achievement in learning Islamic Cultural History in class VII A SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga after using the Information search method has increased from the implementation of the pre-cycle / pre-action to the implementation of the final evaluation of cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mnemonics learning strategy in increasing the mastery of the concept of the human digestive system through a direct learning model for Class VIII H students of SMP Negeri 5 Kendari. This research was conducted in class VIII H at SMP Negeri 5 Kendari, the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, to be exact, from October to November 2019. The total number of students is 35 consisting of 20 female students and 15 male students. This classroom action research procedure consists of 2 (two) cycles. Each cycle is carried out by the indicators to be achieved from the factors being investigated, which are carried out in stages: (1) planning; (2) implementation of the action (action); (3) Observation and Evaluation (observation and evaluation); and (4) reflection. The results showed that direct learning methods applied through mnemonics techniques could improve students' mastery of learning concepts in human digestion material, which was reflected in the results of evaluating participation, cooperation, ability, and making conclusions have increased.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in Basic Electricity and Electronics (DLE) subjects in class X Air Conditioning and Air Conditioning Engineering 2 Academic Year 2019/2020 Semester 2 at SMKN 2 Metro. This study uses Classroom action research with two research cycles. The study population was all class X students of the Pendinghin and Air Conditioning Engineering expertise program, while the research sample was taken from one class, namely class X TPTU 1. The results of this classroom action research indicated that the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in learning activities was good. in the classroom and the workshop can overcome obstacles that arise during the implementation of learning. Indicators of the success of using this method are based on observations, namely the decreased level of student passivity in participating in learning which includes: student inactivity in responding to the perceptions given by the teacher when giving material decreased from 11 students to 5 students, students who were not active in group learning activities decreased from 10 students become 4 students by reducing the number of study group members and students who have not done group assignments correctly and thoroughly decreasing from 11 students to 6 students, and students whose learning outcomes have not been completed decreases from 12 students to 2 students.
