Abstract

This study aims to improve the effectiveness of discus throwing learning outcomes using modified plastic plates in class VII SMP Negeri 9 Kendari. The subjects studied were students of class VII.4, totaling 36 students, with details of 18 male students and 18 female students. The implementation consists of 2 cycles. Each studied cycle is adjusted to the design changes in the investigated factors. The procedure of this research: (1) planning, (2) implementation of the action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Data sources are students and teachers. The data obtained is qualitative data through observation sheets and journals and quantitative data through learning achievement tests. The results showed that (1) student activity using a modified plastic plate media was considered active while participating in the discus throwing learning process. And after the second cycle was carried out, student activities experienced an average increase in activity by 80.5%; (2) the teacher's teaching activities in the first cycle reached an achievement level of 90%, while in the second cycle, after conducting treatment in the learning process, the teacher's activity reached 96%. This means that there is an increase in teacher activity by 6%, so that the average teacher activity in the two cycles reaches 93%; (3) the average learning completeness for the prefix aspect reaches 93.05% for boys and 76.35% for girls; (4) the average learning completeness for the Throwing Method aspect reached 84.35% for boys, and 72.2% for girls; (5) the average Learning Completeness aspect for the aspect of Final Attitude reaches 82.65% for boys and girls reaches 73.65%, and (6) student responses refer to Student Response Indicators, so the average student response rate is 84%, has the criteria Very Satisfied

Abstract

This study aims to increase student learning activities and outcomes in social studies subjects through the This study aims to increase student learning activities and outcomes in English subjects through the application of discovery learning models. This research was conducted in class VIII of SMP Negeri 9 Kendari in the even semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The subjects studied were students in class VIII-5, totaling 34 students, with details of 17 male students and 17 female students. The factors observed in this study are student factors. This research was carried out in 2 (two) cycles, including: a) planning; b) implementation of actions; c) observation, d) reflection. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that the discovery learning model in the implementation of English learning can improve learning outcomes and activities of class VIII-5 students at SMP Negeri 9 Kendari in accordance with what has been planned, the application of this learning method has provided experience for teachers and students so that the learning atmosphere in in the classroom more lively and interesting and give a meaningful impression on students. This can be seen in the test scores of students starting from cycle I to cycle II which continue to experience a definite increase. As for the achievement of the average class evaluation value, namely in the first cycle the average value was 73.09 and in the second cycle it increased to 83.82. Class classical completeness in cycle I was 61.76% and in cycle II it increased to 91.18%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes of 100 meter short distance running through a playing approach in class VII students of SMP Negeri 29 Rumbia. This research was conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 29 Rumbia in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The subjects studied were students of class VII, totaling 16 students, with details of 13 male students and 3 female students. The factors observed in this study are student factors. This research was carried out in 2 (two) cycles, including: (a) planning; (b) implementation of actions; (c) observation; and (d) reflection. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the application of the playing method could improve the learning outcomes of short-distance running in class VII students of SMP Negeri 29 Rumbia, with an average achievement in cycle 1 of 64.58, an average of 71.87 in cycle 2, and an average of cycle 3 average obtained 80.2.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether using the problem-based learning (PBL) model with a scientific approach can improve the learning outcomes of straight-line equations in Class VIII. A student of SMP Negeri 3 Kendari in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The research subjects were students of class VIII. An SMP Negeri 3 Kendari, the number of students in this class was 30, consisting of 13 boys and 17 girls. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle using the steps of (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Based on data analysis, the implementation of the actions in cycle I showed that the average class value was 69.53, and the percentage of classical completeness was 46.67%. This result has yet to reach classical completeness of 65% or more. Observing student learning activities in the cycle, I found that the average score of student learning activities was 71.5, which was classified as less active. The results of the cycle research showed that student achievement was still lacking and student learning activity was still low. After improving the learning process, the analysis results in cycle II obtained an average class value of 74.60 and a classical completeness percentage of 86.67%. The results of observing student learning activities obtained an average score of student activity of 90.5%, which is classified as active.

Abstract

This study aims to improve long-service skills in badminton games through the blocked practice method in class V1 students of SD Negeri 83 Kendari. This study hypothesizes that the blocked practice method can improve long-service abilities in V.1 students. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 83 Kendari in September-October 2019. The subjects of this research were all students in class V.1 SD Negeri 83 Kendari, totaling 34 students, consisting of 18 female students and 16 male students. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, and documentation. This study used classroom action research, which consisted of two cycles, each consisting of 2 meetings. The results showed that the blocked practice method could improve long-service skills in V.1 students. This can be seen from the average score of the student's skills test results in cycle I, which was 73.8 points with a classical completeness of 56%, and in cycle II, the results of the skills test of students doing back rolls increased to 84.7 with a classical completeness of 84%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar passing dalam permainan bola voli melalui model ring target bagi siswa kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 20 Kendari.. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIIIC yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi, pemberian kuesioner, tes unjuk kerja, serta dokumentasi berupa dokumen dan foto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran passing dalam permainan bola voli melalui model ring target meningkat. Hal ini dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa dari semua aspek pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 62,5% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81,25%. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus dirata-rata dari aspek kognitif, aspek afektif dan aspek psikomotor. Ketuntasan belajar aspek kognitif pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 31,25 %, dan  siklus II sebesar 87,5%. Ketuntasan belajar aspek afektif pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 68,75%, dan siklus II sebesar 81,25%. Ketuntasan belajar aspek psikomotor pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 53,12%, dan siklus II sebesar 78,12%.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student learning activities and outcomes in social studies subjects by applying the guided inquiry learning model. This research was conducted in class IX at SMP Negeri 9 Kendari in the 2019/2020 academic year's odd semester. The subjects studied were students of class IX-10, totalling 35 students, with details of 23 male students and 12 female students. This research was carried out in 2 (two) cycles: (a) planning; (b) implementation of actions; (c) observation; and (d) reflection. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed: (1) the value of student activity with the application of the guided inquiry learning model: in cycle I, there were 7 (20%) students out of 35 getting grades in the outstanding category, increasing in cycle II to 24 (68.57) students in the "outstanding" category. Students who scored in the excellent category in the first cycle were 12 (34.29%), but that number decreased in the second cycle; there were only 7 (20%) students in the excellent category. Students who scored in the less category in cycle I, namely 16 (45.71%) students out of 35 students, decreased in cycle II, there were only 4 (11.43%) students, and in cycle, I and cycle II, no students scored in the less category; and (2) student learning outcomes increased from the pre-action results, namely, out of 35 students, only nine (25.71%) students had achieved the KKM. Increased the cycle, I test results showed 22 students (62.86%) who had completed KKM and increased again in cycle II to show 31 students (88.57%) who had achieved KKM.
