Abstract

Rice is one of the foods that contain enough nutrients and boosters for the human body, because it contains ingredients that are easily converted into energy. In Indonesia there are more than 1000 types of rice varieties, and every year new varieties appear. Farmers find it difficult to determine which type of rice they will plant. Farmers must try each type of different varieties each season, to find out which quality rice. For this reason, a decision support system is needed to select qualified rice. In the decision support system two methods of comparison are used, namely the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and PROMETHEE. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method will be compared to the PROMETHEE method. In a decision support system, the data used will be changed first into the form of weights that have been determined based on parameters. The types of rice used are paddy and hybrid rice. Both methods will be compared based on the length of time of execution and the success rate of selecting rice quality. The end result of the system for rice using both methods is the angke for lowland rice and the 6 ceva hipa for hybrid rice. with an execution time of 570,0008 milliseconds for the SAW method, and PROMETHEE method with an execution time of 12488.2 milliseconds in lowland rice, and 1140,006 milliseconds for the duration of SAW execution, 16400,029 for the duration of PROMETHEE for hybrid rice. The SAW method is faster than the promethee method.

Abstract

E-Government is the government's program and commitment in the effort to develop electronic-based governance and transforms to facilitate the activities of society and business to the knowledge-based society. E-Governmet can be said to be a system that contains collections of modules that can be integrated with others. Considering the many module components in the e-government authors in this study limits only to population modules such as service and management of population data, KK data, data on population mutations such as population (moving, coming, born, dead) built using the Model View method Web-based and online controller. As well as how to simplify the management of the letter, in addition to facilitate the search population data and information about the development of villagers in each village in real time with terintegerasinya data to each village in addition to facilitate and accelerate the service request and manufacture reporting. So with the existence of this system the kecamatan easier to see the development of data of the population of each village and with this system the kecamatan and village easier to manage the data letter and can facilitate in sending mail to each village. With this research, it is expected Sub-district offices can provide improvement of information service and also data processing of its population.

Abstract

As a public service provider, the Medan Polrestabes community service unit is faced with many things related to improving the quality of public services through good service performance. To measure the performance of public service units, elements / indicators are needed as a reference to provide an assessment of the performance results of public service units. To determine public satisfaction with services, the government issued several regulations related to the quality of public services, one of which is KEPMENPAN NO.25 / 2004 concerning general guidelines for compiling the community satisfaction index for service units of government agencies, which are general guidelines used as a reference for government agencies. There are 14 indicators related to the performance and services performed by service employees. The purpose of this research is to develop a service quality measurement application that can be accessed directly by the public. With the application of measuring the quality of public services that can be accessed directly by the public, the task of public service providers in evaluating the performance of public service delivery can be carried out easily. Based on the results of the research, the value of the community satisfaction index at the Medan Police Station with 50 respondents as a whole was 3.07572, the IKM value after being converted was 76.893 where the quality of service B and the performance of the service unit were in the good category, meaning that the community was satisfied with the service of the Medan Police.Keyword : Application, Community Satisfaction Index, website

Abstract

Whatsapp is a cross-platform messaging application that allows us to exchange messages without SMS fees, because WhatsApp uses the same internet data package for email, web browsing, and more. The WhatsApp application reportedly has improved the security system of applications that are end to end encryption (E2EE). This proves that the WhatsApp manager paid considerable attention to privacy and security issues for its users. In addition, it also implies an important matter where business actors have begun to realize that the application of cryptographic services is part of a very promising business strategy or even determines the present and future consequences. The consequence of implementing E2EE is the description encryption process that takes place at the application layer (OSI layer). Cryptography is a study that studies methods to send messages in secret (that is, encrypted or disguised) so that only the intended recipient of the message can decode and read the message. For this reason, cirptography is one method that can implement E2EE on whatsapp. One Time Pad (OTP) is a type of symmetry algorithm, each key is only used for one message. If the key is random (cannot be reproduced) and only used once, then the algorithm is perfectly safe. The MAC (Message Authentication Code) is an identifier to prove the authenticity of a document obtained by using meaningless messages obtained from processing some of the contents of the document using a private key.

Abstract

Replication system is a system that is currently widely used, with the advantage of data security that can be guaranteed security. The replication of the Web-Based Student Academic System Database is implemented using VMWare workstation 9.0. By using Ubuntu Server 12.04 which is a server, there are three servers that are built including the master server, slave 1 and slave 2, with the three servers synchronized and replicated automatically in the system, with a system like this it is hoped that the data inside is guaranteed the security and distribution are faster. Abstract

In supporting of production quality improvement, industry must be supported by reliable process system. Reliable measurement system also included in one system which is expected realibility. Specially for saturated steam flow measurement and calculation which is mostly done in the industry in relation to control production cost, should also be able to show accurate results. Now PLC has taken an important role in industry, beside as a control system, PLC also can be used to calculation a formula. This paper aims to use PLC as flow computer to calculate saturatedsteam density by adopting linear regression method which is divided into “n” section to increase the accuration with pressure as a input parameter. The results show a relatively small error value around 0,2% if we compare with standart linear regression method, where the value around 0,9%.

Abstract

The paper aims to present a solution of managing an enterprise information system or enterprise resource planning (ERP) in small-mid size enterprises (SMEs). The research was focused on developing an integrated enterprise information system for resolving faced problems in managing SMEs’ business. The methods were investigating business requirements regarding information system, system analysis, system design which included processes, data, and interface model, implementation of system design using selected programming language, and system testing which included unit and integrated testing.  The research produced a tested model of the enterprise information system and a working enterprise resource planning information system software named Qinova ERP. The system is implemented in a real environment, a hazardous waste transporter company in Indonesia, and the system has been tackling their business information system management problems. The system is ready to be employed to the different companies in the same industry with minor revision and to the other industries with some customizations to adapt their business requirements.

Abstract

The use of drugs, especially in Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, has a fairly large increase and requires serious efforts. EDUDA is an application that can help students form their resilience assisted by counseling guidance teachers, parents, and peers in forming good character.
