Abstract

COVID-19 or Coronavirus Disease 2019 is a new disease that can cause respiratory problems and pneumonia caused by infection with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Efforts to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 disease are very important, considering that the corona virus is easily transmitted from human to human through coughing/sneezing (droplets) and contact with sufferers. Preventive measures against COVID-19 such as washing hands, wearing masks and social distancing carried out by students can be influenced by knowledge about COVID-19 and attitudes towards preventing Covid-19. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Knowledge and Attitudes of Students with Covid-19 Prevention Measures in the study program of 3rd Diploma of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, Mulawarman University Research  Method: The research design is cross sectional, and the research sample is students of 3rd diploma of Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine Mulawarman University, the sampling technique is a total sampling of 176 students. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate with Chi Square test. The results of the study: The knowledge of respondents about Covid-19 was in a good category (56.5%), the attitude of the respondents was more positive (65.6%) and the majority of respondents' actions in preventing Covid-19 were in a good category (52.8%). There is a relationship between knowledge and preventive measures for Covid-19 (p.value 0.040 < 0.05), There is no relationship between student attitudes and preventive measures for Covid-19 (p.value 0.845 > 0.05).Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and covid-19 prevention measures, the attitude is not related to action. There is a need for education to increase knowledge and positive attitudes in supporting COVID-19 prevention measures. Keywords: Covid-19, Knowledge, Action, attitude, students

Abstract

Abstract

Human Immuno Deficiency Virus (HIV), hepatitis B and syphilis are very likely to be experienced by mothers during pregnancy and have the potential to cause disability or death. Although there has been an increase in the scope of the implementation of HIV and Hepatitis B screening for pregnant women in Indonesia, there are still cases of pregnant women detected positive for both diseases. This study aims to analyze the effect of triple elimination health education on the level of knowledge and intention of pregnant mothers in the implementation of triple elimination screening. This research is a type of quantitative research with one group pre-post test design method involved 47 respondents of first trimester pregnant women who were selected used purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire filled out by respondents before and after the triple elimination health education was carried out. The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis showed that there was an effect of triple elimination health education on the level of knowledge and intentions of pregnant women in the implementation of triple elimination screening with p-values of 0.000 and 0.001 (<0.05), respectively. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of triple elimination health education on the level of knowledge and intentions of pregnant women in the implementation of triple elimination screening. It is expected that midwives in hospitals need to enhance the knowledge and practice of midwives in the delivery of obstetric health knowledge so that pregnant women can maximize the use of antenatal care services by professional health workers.

Patients with a diagnosis of sepsis showed the highest mortality in this study. Conclusion: Respondents with infant categories, mild neurological status at the admission of PICU, used mechanical ventilators as oxygen devices, have the highest frequency of mortality in PICU. Abstract

Background : Pregnancy and childbirth are periods of life full of potential stress. A woman in the period of pregnancy and the postpartum period tends to experience considerable stress due to limited physical conditions that make her have to limit activities and undergo the process of adaptation to become a mother. This period has the potential for postpartum depression. This study aims to determine the relationship between postpartum depression in mothers who gave birth normally and mothers who gave birth through Sectio Caesarea. Methods: The research subjects were 30 mothers who gave birth and experienced postpartum depression at Pucuk Permata Hati Hospital. This study used the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) questionnaire. The data were analyzed by statistical product and service solution (SPSS) using the chi square test method. Results: The prevalence of postpartum depression at RSIA Pucuk Permata Hati using EPDS scoring, most of the respondents who experienced postpartum depression were 26 people (72.2%) through cesarean section and 4 people (16.7%) went through normal delivery. Conclusion: The significance value obtained is 0.000 so that the p value <0.05. This indicates that there is a significant relationship between the delivery process and the risk of postpartum depression at RSIA Pucuk Permata Hati. The OR value was found to be 13, which indicates that respondents who delivered caesarean section had a 13 times chance of experiencing depression.
