Abstract

Cultural Tourism: Identification of Community-Based Cultural Tourism Potential In Bandung In this community service that has been carried out in Wana village, the author wants to explore and examine the tourism potential of the Lampung tribe in Wana Village. Assessing the potential of culture as a tourism object is very important to support developers or local governments to plan and implement village development strategies effectively. The purpose of this service is to find out what is the potential for cultural tourism in Wana Village so that it can support developing sustainable tourism. The result of community service that has been carried out is that Wana Village has several cultural potentials that can be used as tourist attractions, such as traditional houses, traditional ceremonies and clothes, traditional arts, as well as various Lampung culinary specialities that can be developed into sustainable tourism objects. This result is hope as a reference in the field of Lampung cultural tourism which is currently not widely known to the general public and a reference for developers and local governments in formulating a strategy development program or cultural-free marketing in Wana Village.

Abstract

Training on Making Coffee-Based Drinks and Local Commodities for Village Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) and Barista Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) in the Tourism Village of Ngargoretno, Salaman District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. This community service activity aims to increase basic knowledge about making coffee drinks, as well as increase the entrepreneurial spirit of managers of Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) and Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Barista in the Tourism Village of Ngargoretno, Salaman District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. The activity was held at Kang Im Kandang (Menoreh Ngargoretno Tourist Information Center) which was attended by 35 participants. The delivery method is carried out with interactive and demonstrative counselling techniques, with the aim of transforming knowledge, attitudes and skills as well as achieving prosperous rural communities. The results of the activity showed an increase in the skills and understanding of the participants about the use and knowledge of the coffee plant, starting from the benefits, uses, processing and elements contained therein, as well as in terms of processing plantation products (coffee) from the garden to being served in a cup, as well as motivation. and the follow-up of participants in making, producing and even consuming their own beverage products along with the use of other commodities was successfully increased through this activity

Abstract

Community Capacity and Identification of Tourism Potential for Lubuklinggau City Tourism Development This Community Service activity aims to increase the capacity of the people of Lubuklinggau City in the tourism sector and identify the existing tourism potential. In this activity, there are three approaches taken, including Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Community-based development, and participatory. Collecting data using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) techniques and field observations. The tourism potentials identified in this community service activity include Magic Hill, Temam Waterfall and Watervang Dam, while cultural potentials include women's Batik Durian weaving activities and the art of twilight. It can be concluded that in the development of Lubukinggau City as a tourist city, assistance activities are still needed such as promotion and e-commerce training, scouting and English training, and improvement of the mitigation system in the Magic hill area to improve the concept.

Abstract

Training and Assistance in Making Videos of the Potential of Eco-Agrotourism as a Virtual Tour Media The Community Service Integrated Real Work Lecture (PKM – KKN) activity held in Cisaat Village, Subang, aims to (1) provide an understanding of the concept of virtual tourism as an alternative new tourism product; (2) conducting training and assistance in making videos and simple editing techniques: (3) conducting training and mentoring on the use of Zoom as a virtual tourism support tool. The results of this mentoring activity include: (1) increasing public understanding of virtual tourism; (2) the implementation of training activities for making and editing simple videos (3) the implementation of training activities on the use of Zoom as a virtual tour support tool. At the end of the program, the evaluation results showed a positive response from all participants.

Abstract

Efforts to Restore the Tourism Sector in Gubugklakah Village After the Covid-19 Pandemic. The tourism sector is a contributor to state revenue in the form of foreign exchange and plays a role in increasing productivity and reducing unemployment. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the tourism sector to be paralyzed and dead so that it cannot contribute to the economy. Gubugklakah Village is one of the tourist villages affected by Covid-19. The village of Gubugklakah, which is usually busy with tourists, has become deserted, this causes a decrease in the income of the local community. The methods used in this service include observation, interviews, group discussion forums, documentation, and publications. This service activity can be called tourism branding, which is the method of choice as an effort to restore the post-pandemic tourism sector in Gubugklakah Village. Tourism branding can be done by utilizing existing social media such as Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, and Facebook. Social media is expected to be able to reach local and foreign tourists, by disseminating information about existing tourism so that the local community's economy will come back to life. In line with the purpose of the activity, local tourists have started to arrive who want to travel in Gubugklakah Village.

Abstract

Assistance with human resources in the Garongan Tourism Village. Despite the abundance of potential tourism-related activities, the management of Garongan Tourism Village still has several flaws. The Yogyakarta AMPTA Tourism College, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, has established the Tourism Village Assistance Program in response to some current issues. The work programs that have been effectively put into practice include: (1) integrated tourist village FGD; (2) integrated tourism product packaging training; (3) integrated tour package sales training; (4) preparation of storytelling and edutrip guides for Garongan tourism village; (5) coaching for the preparation of tour packages; (6) training and coaching on digital tourism village marketing; (7) coaching of tourism village financial management; (8) tourism village scouting training; (9) Digitization of tour packages with audio-visual catalogues; (10) Special culinary training based on processed fish and salak; and (11) Training on making souvenirs with the theme of Garongan tourism village.

Abstract

Training for Preparation of Narratives and Distribution Map of Tourism Potential for Pokdarwis Golo Cucu Kempo Village is one of the villages in West Manggarai Regency which has been designated as a tourist village. The community group that is involved in developing tourism potential in this village is Pokdarwis Golo Cucu. The problem faced by Pokdarwis is that there is still no information about the tourism potential in Kempo Village, such as narratives and maps of the distribution of tourism potential. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is for Pokdarwis members to be able to compose narratives and potential distribution maps as information to be shared with visitors. This activity uses the focus group discussion method. The result of this activity is that there are 15 natural and cultural tourism potentials that can become tourist attractions in Kempo Village along with narratives and maps of the distribution of tourism potential. As a suggestion, the structured narrative can be refined again to present interesting information. In addition, narratives can be posted on information boards and social media as promotional materials. The tourism potential distribution map can also be refined by using GIS applications and determining points using GPS, so that the resulting map is more precise..

Abstract

Human Resources Development in the Mine Circle Area PT. Berau Coal through Tourism Village Training Tourist visits to Berau Regency are expected to increase from 2010 to 2021. therefore, human resources must be carefully prepared to support smooth tourism activities, which PT Berau Coal is doing through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and PPM (Community Empowerment and Development) activities. Community service will be conducted on human resources development in the Mine Circle Area of PT. Berau Coal through the Tourism Village Training by identifying HR competencies before and after the tourism village training and identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors for the training's implementation. Tourism village training was held, and community readiness increased as a result, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in this activity.

Abstract

Tulen Telase Hill Tourism Development Master Plan. The development of the Bukit Tulen Telase tourist area in Air Limau Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency is very prospective. This article is the output of community service activities that aim to recommend the Masterplan as a reference for developing the Bukit Tulen Telase tourist area. By analyzing tourism potential, the team analyzed market aspects based on the potential of the Bukit Tulen Telase area. Then analyze tourism potential based on institutional studies, and provide recommendations for developing integrated tour packages. The implementation of community service is divided into several stages. The first stage is a literature review followed by secondary data collection. The second stage consists of a primary data survey, orientation, and focus group discussions. The third stage identifies regional development potentials, problems, and analyses, and the final stage is concept formulation and development strategy. The Bukit Tulen Telase area in West Bangka Regency has shown promise as a tourist destination. The development of the Bukit Tulen Telase area necessitates synergistic collaboration from multiple parties to strengthen and complement one another. Putting together integrated tour packages can be a form of synergistic collaboration.

Abstract

Basic Service Training Activities in Restaurants for Emmanuel Foundation Students: Hygiene and Sanitation In the tourism sector, especially for those who work in this sector, it is essential to carry out personal hygiene and sanitation of the work environment. Regarding standards in carrying out and maintaining personal hygiene and sanitation, especially in a restaurant or hotel that aims to meet customer satisfaction. Basic service training in restaurants for students of the Emmanuel Foundation regarding the importance of personal hygiene and sanitation where this activity aims to be able to add insight and can be a provision in the future for students who want to work directly in restaurants. The implementation is carried out online through the Google Meet platform as a support for activities that everyone can easily access. There is a preparation stage and an implementation stage (online training). Basic Service Training Activities in Restaurants for Emmanuel Foundation Students: cleanliness and sanitation are running well and systematically according to the schedule of events that have been made. The pre-test and post-test sessions had the same ten questions. The pre-test was used to see the understanding of Emmanuel Foundation students regarding hygiene and sanitation materials. The post-test was used to see whether or not there was an increase in the knowledge of the Emmanuel Foundation students after the material was presented. This proves that comparing these values is invalid because the significance value is more significant than 0.05. Therefore, the training on the basics of service in restaurants for Emmanuel Foundation students has failed. Therefore, evaluate the process of this training activity so that students have a deeper understanding of the material and practice it directly, gaining knowledge to work in this field in the future and in real-time.
