Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to develop a swimming learning method for early childhood (2) to determine the validity of the method in stimulating basic swimming movements, and (3) to determine the results of the effectiveness of using the method for children. The research of the shallow water method development refers to the Borg n Gall model which is synthesized into six steps according to the research objectives. The data technique used is the result of expert validation and effectiveness testing through experiments with paired t-test statistical data analysis. The results of the development of the shallow water method meet the valid criteria with the results of the expert test of swimming material reaching a validity level of 94%, the result of the expert test of swimming learning 76%, and the practitioner test of 98 %. The field trial of the application of the shallow water method, the results of the pre-test, children got a score of 13.36 and the post-test results got a score of 17. Based on the analysis, the resulting t count is 5.823 and t table is 2.160, meaning that t count > t table. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in children's basic swimming skills before and after using the shallow water method. The advice given in the development of the shallow water method is that in using the method when swimming activities/learning should look at the condition of the child and recognize the characteristics of the child because the child's achievement in mastering the level of one child is different from another.

Abstract

This study discusses the prohibition of former corruption convicts from being candidates for legislative members, regulated in the General Election Commission Regulation Number 20 of 2018. However, the ban was overturned by the Supreme Court because it limited a person's political rights. This paper uses normative juridical research using a statutory approach, the legal materials: primary, secondary, tertiary, with library data collection techniques. The hypothesis is that the Supreme Court, in cancelling this decision, only pays attention to procedural matters without considering the principle of benefit and partiality to the people. This study also discusses the reasons and considerations of the Supreme Court in cancelling the ban on ex-corruption convicts from becoming legislative candidates that the General Elections Commission has formed with the spirit of creating elections with integrity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence and the magnitude of the correlation of the persuasive communication of tax employees and the imposition of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance at KPP Pratama Medan Timur. The research method used in this research is quantitative method with correlational research type. The study population was all active non-treasurer taxpayers with a total of 75,129 taxpayers. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, calculated using the Taro Yamane formula in order to obtain a sample size of 100 respondents. The results showed that partially persuasive communication of tax employees has an influence on taxpayer obedience at KPP Pratama Medan Timur, this is indicated by Tcount> Ttable (3,299> 1,985). These results also show that partially tax sanctions have no effect on taxpayer obedience at KPP Pratama Medan Timur, this is indicated by Tcount < Ttable (0.424 < 1.985). However, when tested simultaneously, persuasive communication and tax sanctions together have an influence on taxpayer obedience at KPP Pratama Medan Timur, this is indicated by Fcount > Ftable (8.813 > 2.70). These results indicate that the theory used is accepted because the persuasive communication of tax employees combined with the provision of tax sanctions can increase taxpayer compliance at KPP Pratama Medan Timur.
