Abstract

This study is to empirically test the effect of profit growth, capital structure, and investment opportunity sets on earnings quality which is moderated by company size in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the IDX from 2017 to 2021. Purposive sampling was used in the sample selection method of this study with the sample obtained, namely 26 companies with a total of 130 data observations. Panel regression data analysis in statistical calculations with the help of Eviews12 was used in this study. Based on the results of the output of Eviews12 the conclusion of the hypothesis test stated that profit growth and capital structure do not affect earnings quality. While the investment opportunity set affects the quality of earnings. After being moderated by company size, the results show that company size is not proven to moderate the effect of profit growth and capital structure on earnings quality, while company size is proven to be able to moderate the effect of investment opportunities on earnings quality.

Abstract

The Influence of Organizational Culture, Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at STT Renatus Siantar. This study aims to identify and examine the influence of (1) organizational culture on the performance of STT Renatus Siantar employees; (2) the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of STT Renatus Siantar employees; (3) the influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction together on the performance of STT Renatus Siantar. The research method uses expos facto type. The research subjects consisted of 30 employees (employees) at STT Renatus Siantar, the data collection instrument consisted of a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The test results show: (1) the employee performance questionnaire contains 27 valid items with a reliability of 0.900, (2) an organizational culture questionnaire contains 26 valid items with a reliability of 0.929; (3) the job satisfaction questionnaire contains 25 valid items with a reliability of 0.928. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis, it was found that there was a positive and significant influence of organizational culture on employee performance (0.233 with thit. 8.379.) There was a significant positive effect of job satisfaction on employee performance 0.264 thit. 9.160, the results of the study also found, the tendency of organizational culture, job satisfaction is quite good. This study also found the influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction together on employee performance at FHit = 105.085 with the equation Y = 0.429 X1 + 0.396 X2 + 6.292. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended to improve employee performance in order to consider organizational culture and employee job satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the learning process, the use of google meet media in the era of the covid19 pandemic in entrepreneurship subjects in class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru, (2) to determine student perceptions about implementing learning with google meet media in entrepreneurship subjects, (3) to find out students' responses to the use of Google Meet media in entrepreneurship subjects. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection instruments: questionnaires, documentation and observation. The research subjects were class XI students who took entrepreneurship subjects, and teachers who taught entrepreneurship subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru.The results of this study found that learning using Google Meet media on entrepreneurship subjects was running effectively, this was based on the findings (1) 82.56% of the quality of learning was in the high category, (2) 81.47% of the suitability of learning levels was in the high category, (3) 77.16% of the learning incentives given by the teacher to students are in the sufficient category, and (4) 80.65% or are in the high category for the time of implementation of learning used by the teacher in KBM (teaching and learning activities), the results of observations are also found that teachers tend to have prepared lesson plans (RPP) before learning activities are carried out. Thus, this study found that the use of Google Meet media in teaching and learning activities for entrepreneurship subjects was effective during the Covid 19 pandemic era.

Abstract

The research is based by the low students academic performance of economics subject in Senior High School in Sumedang Regency. The purpose of this study was to study and analyze the effect of family environment on self-efficacy, the effect of metacognitive on self-efficacy, the effect of self-efficacy on students academic performance, and the effect of family environment and metacognitive on students academic performance mediated by self-efficacy. The method used in this research is explanatory survey research with data collection techniques through questionnaires and observation. The population of this research is 1.767 students senior high school in Sumedang Regency, while the sample of 231 students. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis. The result shows that: (i) the students family environment is in the high category, while the level of metacognitive, self-efficacy, and academic performance of students is in the medium category. (ii) family environment affects self-efficacy. (iii) metacognitive affects self-efficacy. (iv) self-efficacy affect students academic performance. (v) family environment affects academic performance direcly and indirectly through self-efficacy. (vi) metacognitive affects academic performance direcly and indirectly through self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tax amnesty volume II and modernization of tax information systems on individual taxpayer compliance with taxation socialization as a moderating variable. The variables used in this study are tax amnesty volume II, E Billing, E Filling, E SPT as the independent variable, individual taxpayer compliance as the dependent variable, and taxation socialization as a moderating variable.The data used is primary data with a questionnaire method obtained directly from individual taxpayers in the South Jakarta area. The sample selection was carried out using the Slovin formula approach and the simple random sampling method. The sample used is 78 individual taxpayers as respondents. The f-test aims at the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable simultaneously. The results of the t-test showed that partially the variable of tax amnesty volume II and E Filling had a positive and significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance, while the E Billing and E SPT variables had a positive but not significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance. The results of the f test indicate that the variable tax amnesty volume II, E Billing, E Filling, E SPT has a positive and significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance. The results of testing the MRA regression hypothesis (Moderated Regression Analysis) of the tax socialization variable strengthen the effect of tax amnesty volume II and E SPT on individual taxpayer compliance. While the E Billing and E SPT variables had a positive but not significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Muhammadiyah ideology on the performance of Muhammadiyah Elementary and Secondary Education institutions with Leadership Variables as Mediation, using a quantitative approach method and with a population of 1607 people, the research sample was obtained as many as 469 people. Gresik district. The results showed that leadership had an effect on the performance of educational institutions. Where leadership can improve the performance of educational institutions with the most prominent character of hard work and leadership has a competitive mediation role. Where the leadership between Muhammadiyah ideology and the performance of educational institutions has a significant impact.

Abstract

Performance is an indicator of good or bad management decisions in decision making. Good or high performance can help the company make a profit, on the other hand if the performance goes down it can be detrimental to the company. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, employee competence, and organizational culture on employee performance at Bank Jatim, Jember Branch. The research population is 54 bank employees. Questionnaires were submitted to all employees with a return rate of 41 questionnaires. This type of research is quantitative with multiple regression analysis method. The results showed that partially leadership and employee competence had a significant effect on employee performance at Bank Jatim, Jember Branch, while organizational culture had no significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study explores the role of tour operators in designing unique and unforgettable tourist experiences, emphasizing the need to consider more than just the attractions offered by a destination. It employs qualitative research methods, involving in-depth interviews with 12 tour operator managers to understand their approach in experience design. The findings suggest that tour operators employ three main strategies in itinerary planning: the selection of tourist attractions, designing variations, intensity, and sequences of visits, and managing guest expectations and perceptions. In attraction selection, a balance is struck between iconic landmarks, affordable alternatives, and hidden gems. Variations, intensity, and sequences of visits are orchestrated to prevent monotony, optimize the timing and duration of visits, and build towards a climactic end to the trip. Lastly, tour operators aim to exceed client expectations through unexpected upgrades, additional attractions, and small gifts. This research underscores the importance of a comprehensive and strategic approach in designing travel experiences, highlighting the pivotal role of tour operators. The findings have significant implications for tourism management entities, encouraging them to adopt a more holistic approach to enhance tourist satisfaction and create memorable experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyse the influence of Networking Capabilities and Spiritual Motivation on School Performance Supported by Dynamic Managerial Capabilities of Principals. This study uses a quantitative approach with respondents in all principals, vice principals and some professional teachers (certified) the object of research was conducted in an integrated Islamic school network in East Java. Abstract

The magic values is closely related to the level of society understanding with their religion. The aim of this research to find out the magic values in pacu jalur tradition and to find out the perception of society toward magic values of pacu jalur tradition. This research used qualitative method. The result concluded that many processes of making the jalur, there are the magic values in it. In every process, the magic values includes the tool, the mantra, the ritual, and the shaman. The perception of society towards magic values is various. It can be showed that there are some of society is believe towards magic values of pacu jalur, due to the mantra from dukun jalur or the shaman still mention the name of Allah and its not contrary with Islamic teachings, but they didn’t agree that magic as determiner of the race. Some society believe and agree that magic is important in pacu jalur tradition. But some of society is not believe towards magic values because its contrary with Islamic teaching and it includes polytheism. It can be shown by the shaman when he said the mantra in processing pacu jalur makings. The shaman ask mambang (kind of the spirit) in helping pacu jalur makings until finish and participate in event of pacu jalur. The deeds is opposite with Islamic teaching, and it will be syirik because believe another beside believe in Allah. Another perception of society towards magic values is neutral, because they have sense of indifference.
