Abstract

The sports center is an important facility for carrying out sports activities of various kinds. For the community, especially the Tangerang City area. This final project is a means to add further ideas in the development of Tangerang City in the field of sports infrastructure design that follows the times or in other words modern. This idea also aims to optimize land for city facilities to increase the attractiveness of the city of Tangerang, especially for teenagers. The design methodology is specifically reviewed including the understanding of modern architecture, analysis of actors and activity patterns, selection of the form and characteristics of the site or structure, the shape of the room and the arrangement of the building, the mass pattern of the building, the materials in the building and the utilities of the sports arena in Tangerang City. The sports arena can be used for sports activities, futsal, basketball, volleyball, sepaktakraw and speak ball. Therefore, the design of a sports arena with the concept of modern architecture can add to the request of the people of Tangerang City for sports. Abstract

A creative community is an association that is formed because of similar hobbies and interests that are creative in nature. Indonesia is currently experiencing significant development, one of which is in the Tegal Regency area. Tegal Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java with the capital city of Slawi City. There are many creative community and creative economy actors in Tegal Regency in the field of arts and creative industries that require facilities to support their activities and are supported by the local government. This potential is one of the drivers to create and build in the regional economic sector. The Youth Creativity Park is a building area that aims to accommodate the activities of the creative community and creative industries in Tegal Regency. Through the ecological architectural approach in the design of the Youth Creativity Park, it is expected to increase the creativity of creative community actors and creative economic actors who are expected to be able to accommodate and facilitate the activities of the creative community to build a creative economy in the region and provide a balanced impact of change on buildings, the environment and respond to climate conditions against changes that occur due to the warming of the earth created through the mass of the building and the space inside with the behavior of processing natural resources.

Abstract

The inhabitants of South Tangerang City have a culture that must be protected, and that culture is betawi. However, the general public is not aware of Betawi culture's existence. To advance and uphold Betawi culture, the Betawi Cultural Institute (LBB) of South Tangerang City organizes a Betawi cultural festival every year. In compliance with the South Tangerang City Regional Regulation regulating the preservation of Betawi culture, the design of the Betawi Cultural Arts Area strives to bring together all activities and events pertaining to Betawi culture. The use of neo vernacular architecture in this area is one way to introduce Betawi culture in terms of architecture. The building's design is modern while retaining elements of Betawi culture. The Betawi Cultural Arts Area is a destination for cultural tourism that aims to introduce and preserve Betawi culture in South Tangerang City.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Capacitor bank is one of the electrical equipment that is needed in a building to improve the quality of the power factor so that the performance of other electrical equipment can be maintained properly. However, in the operation of capacitor banks, capacitors often overheat, resulting in explosions and then fires, as happened in a mall in the Depok area and the eastern part of Jakarta. Based on these problems, research was carried out to monitor and protect capacitor banks with Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the DS18B20 temperature sensor. The research only reached the prototype of the building's electrical network. The DS18B20 sensor attached to the capacitor body reads the temperature of the capacitor and the PZEM004T and SCT013 reads electrical parameters. The DS18B20 sensor functions as a temperature reader from the capacitor and the temperature reading results will be sent to the Arduino Mega which has been programmed. If the capacitor is in operational condition but the capacitor temperature is read above 70⁰C then to protect the capacitor, Arduino Mega will order the relay to cut off the flow of electricity to terminal Coil A1 Contactor so that the capacitor is Off (no electric power). At the same time PZEM004T via SCT013 will read electrical parameters such as power factor, current, power, voltage and Kwh. If the power factor reading is <0.8 then to improve the power factor, Arduino Mega will instruct the relay to activate the capacitor but with the condition that the temperature of the capacitor does not exceed 70⁰C. Capacitor temperature readings and electrical parameter readings will be displayed by Arduino Mega to the LCD screen as well as to one of the Internet of Things platforms, namely the Thingspeak application as a monitoring facility. ESP 8266 is a WIFI chip with the TCP/IP Stack protocol that will receive data from Arduino Mega in the form of electrical parameters and temperature of the capacitor and then the data will be sent to the IOT Cloud platform via the internet network using the API KEY (Application Programming Interface) which is the API between interface that can connect one application to another. Data requests by mobile phones and PCs use the IOT (Thingspeak) platform with an API as the link. The results obtained with the design of an internet of things-based capacitor bank monitoring and protection device besides facilitating monitoring in real time easily can also prevent unwanted things such as capacitor explosions.

Abstract

Water sports are one of the sports that have many types in the competition. Every year in Indonesia, there are always water sports competitions such as water polo, track swimming, beautiful swimming and beautiful jumping. Water sports are quite attractive to some people from young to Old. In the implementation of water sports requires facilities that can accommodate these activities. The facility is called a sports arena or internationally known as an Aquatic Stadium. The number of water sports competitions in Sleman Regency makes several competition events held in separate places such as FIK UNY and Depok Sports Centre. Aquatic Stadium in Sleman Regency is a place to meet the needs in aquatic sports that use international standards. This aquatic stadium has a function as a sports facility intended for athletes, especially domicile D.I. Yogyakarta and as a means of recreation for the community among young and old. Aquatic Stadium is expected to be a new place for athletes and the public who want to do water sports activities with complete facilities of international standard. An architectural metaphor will be applied to the concept of building an aquatic stadium which describes the characteristics of the building’s funciton as a water sports building.

Abstract

This paper discusses a door lock automation system using IoT-based e-KTP that will be monitored using a smartphone. The system consists of HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and EasyVR 3. HC-SR04 ultrasonic is used to detect the presence of door access users. The RFID sensor is a medium for entering the access code in the form of Unique Identification (UID), and the EasyVR 3 sensor is used to detect passwords in the form of voice signals from access users. To record the real-time of door access users, Real Time Clock DS3231 is used. The microcontroller used to manage the system's work is Arduino Mega 2560. NodeMCU ESP 8266 sends data to a smartphone as a monitoring device. MG90S servo is used to drive the door opening/closing mechanical system. To get access, users must register by entering e-KTP UID data and passwords as sound signals. Testing is carried out to evaluate the performance of the system that has been made. The test scenarios consist of door access from the inside and door access from the outside, each for users who have access and those who do not have access. The test results show that the system can secure door access only for users with access. Monitoring the system using a smartphone can work well where every instance of access use can be monitored user data and access time. However, there are still weaknesses in the mechanical part of opening / closing the door where the servo fails to open and close.

Abstract

This paper discusses the single-axis solar concentrator tracker system for solar thermal power plants. This system concentrates the harvesting of heat from solar radiation to increase the electrical power generated from the solar thermal conversion process. The solar concentrator is designed as a parabola and can adjust the direction following the sun's motion. The overall system work is regulated by Arduino Mega 2560. A 24-volt DC motor and BTS7690 driver are used to drive the parabola. RTC DS3231 is used to provide real-time data. ACS712 sensor is used to measure the current and voltage generated. The conversion of solar heat into electrical energy is done using Peltier SP1848. All generated data is recorded to the SD Card module, which will later be used to analyze the overall system performance. The tracker system is designed to move following the sun’s position, starting from 08:00 at position 19O to 17:00 at position 139O. Update the position or direction of the parabola to 15O, done every hour. The effectiveness of the tracker is assessed by comparing the solar concentrator system that is not equipped with a tracker. From the tests conducted for two consecutive days, the tracker-equipped solar concentrator system produced an average percent increase in electrical power of 4.86% on the first day and 5.26% on the second day. The average percent increase in power for two days was 5.06%. The results show that the application of the tracker is able to increase the productivity of the solar thermal power generation system. This opens up opportunities for larger-scale deployment in solar concentrator farms.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The City of South Tangerang is a growing city, from an increasing population, as a result of immigrants or urban communities, which has led to the emergence of diverse communities. Therefore, as the population increases, the needs of the community are increasing, one of which, is a place like the Community Center. The Community Center is needed to accommodate and facilitate community and community activites. The Community Center learn about the understanding and basic knowledge, such as planning and designing requirements for the Community Center. In planning the construction of the Community Center, a comparative study has been carried out from several facilities similar to Community Center, which have built in several nearby cities and references in several countries. Designing the Community Center development, the author determines the site location has been chosen on Jl. Boulevard Bintaro Jaya, Segmen6, Parigi, Pondok Aren, Kota Tangerang Selatan, Banten. The design of the Community Center is related to the layout of the building and the space of the building, the appearance of the building using the materials, structures, and utilities in the design. The Community Center design concept, uses the concept of Biophilic Architecture. Biopihilic Architecture concept that, harmonizes people, buildings, and the environment. Therefore, according to the problems in South Tangerang City, because it is in the middle of another city that has more advanced city conditions, causing South Tangerang City to be affected, namely increasing pollution. In overcoming these problems, the concept of Biophilic Architecture is the Answer to existing problems, with involving humans, buildings and the environment, through use of visualization, plants, and water, as well as applying the principles of Biophilic Architecture to sites and buildings. The result will produces a place to live or a healthy environment and mentally, and physically for the surrounding community.

Abstract

Sport is one of the activities that is very popular with many people who have gone worldwide and become an integral part of people's daily lives. Sports activities can be a way to get away from the boredom and mental stress of daily routines. Sports are also useful to restore and refresh the body and soul as well as provide pleasure. The Ball Game Sports Building and the Cilegon Athlete's House is a sports venue that provides various types of indoor sports and a home for athletes in Cilegon City with a Biophilic Architecture approach. Visitors besides exercising can also have recreation, gather and enjoy the atmosphere in one area. The existence of the Ball Game Sports Building and the Cilegon Athlete's House can be an alternative for urban sports and recreation facilities which are currently lacking. The Sports Building has the potential to become a new icon for people who like to exercise in Cilegon City and its surroundings. The design of the Ball Game Sports Building and the Cilegon Athlete's House is directed more towards fulfilling facilities and is expected to become a place that can support and accommodate the development of the world of sports which has now become the lifestyle of many people in Indonesia. Abstract

UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) have an important role in regional and national economic growth, through their contribution to GDP. The number of Indonesian UMKM has increased every year, including UMKMs in Wonogiri. The existence of UMKM Centres in Wonogiri is motivated by the high potential of UMKM in Wonogiri and the lack of UMKM centre facilities in Wonogiri. To be able to improve the skills and creativity of UMKM, a container is needed as a means of developing marketing, training, coaching, and an integrated information system for UMKM from several scattered areas to become central. The UMKM Centre in Wonogiri Regency is designed in order to realise a building design that can increase competitiveness and be representative as a building to market local Wonogiri products. The application of neo vernacular architectural rules that are implemented on the scale of the building, the basic form and appearance of the building so as to create an atmosphere that does not leave the local character.
