Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has deteriorated the company's performance in the restaurant, hotel, tourism and transportation sectors. However, some companies are still able to survive by continuing to show positive performance. Using a sample of 54 companies in the restaurant, hotel, tourism, and transportation sectors, this study examines whether the Zmijewski score and the Springate score (which is commonly used to predict bankruptcy) can also be used to predict performance in times of crisis. This study shows that the Zmijewski score and the Springate score can be used. Zmijewski's score is negatively related to the company's profitability during the crisis, while the Springate's score is positively related to the company's profitability during the crisis. This study shows that the bankruptcy prediction score can be extended to predict the company's performance in times of crisis.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of individual characteristics on work performance with work discipline and job satisfaction as intervention variables. The population of this research was employees at PT Prima Multi Usaha Indonesia with 34 people as sample. The retrieval technique for the sample is saturated sampling. The research instrument of this study was a survey questionnaire which was measured on a 5-level Likert scale. The data obtained were processed by  SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) for Windows version 24.0 to run the descriptive analysis and statistical analysis (path analysis). The results showed that there was a positive effect between individual characteristics on job satisfaction, individual characteristics have a positive effect on work discipline, individual characteristics have a positive effect but not significant to work performance, job satisfaction has a positive effect on work performance, and work discipline has a positive effect on work performance.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has influenced the government to implement various policies as a form of support to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In addition, the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic requires people to switch from cash transactions to non-cash transactions to prevent exposure to the Covid-19 virus. Technological developments support this transition with the presence of mobile banking to facilitate non-cash transactions. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived risk and government support on interest in using mobile banking with perceived usefulness as a mediating variable. This type of research is quantitative research and uses a questionnaire to obtain data which is then processed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) software. The results of the study prove that risk perception has the most influence on interest in using mobile banking, while government support does not influence the use of mobile banking.

Abstract

In recent years, supply chain performance meassurement has received a lot of attention from researchers and practitioners. Effective supply chain management is one of the potential ways to improve supply chain performance and competitive advantage. This study aims to determine the supply chain performance at PT. Bimandiri Agro Sedaya by using the  Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method analyzes the problems that occur in the company, then provides solutions to the problems to improve company performance. This study used a descriptive quantitative research method with the case study technique. Data collection techniques used structured and unstructured interviews with the human resource development members and observations to determine the supply chain condition. The secondary data obtained from the company were company reports and documentation. The results of this performance measurement obtained from the performance attributes in the SCOR are as follow: (1) Perfect Order Fulfillment (POF) with an actual result of 65,91% and a reference value of 80%, (2) Order Fulfillment Cycle Time (OFCT) with the duration of the supply chain process is by the company's target of 1 day, (2) Cost of Good Sold (COGS) of 65,09% still not appropriate with expectations with a reference target of 48% and (4) Cash to Cash Cycle Time (CTCCT) of 14 days still has not reached the company's target of 7 days.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of store atmosphere on purchase intention. The store atmosphere is assessed based on several indicators which are cleanliness, music, aroma, temperature, lighting, layout, and the room's color. The sample of this study was customers of IKEA Indonesia. The data analysis used in this study includes validity test, reliability test, and hypothesis test. The results of this study indicate that the aroma, color of the room, and store layout have a positive influence on purchase intention. While the cleanliness, music, temperature, and lighting variables have a positive but no significant influence on purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image, product design, and celebrity endorsement on the repurchase intention of consumers of soccer shoes. The object of this research is the consumer of soccer shoes in Kebumen Regency. The sampling method of this study was an accidental sampling technique with 100 respondents. The data analysis technique was the multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results showed that brand image has no significant effect on repurchase intention. Meanwhile, product design and celebrity endorsement have a positive effect on repurchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of individual entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge-sharing attitudes on the influence of religion on the creation of new businesses. Data were collected from 300 millennial and post-millennial generations in Yogyakarta. Regression analysis with bootstrap method was used to test the hypothesis. The results prove that religiosity has a positive effect on the creation of new businesses, individual entrepreneurial orientation mediates the effect of religiosity on the creation of new businesses, and knowledge sharing attitudes mediate the effect of new business creation. The limitation of this study lies in the ability to explain the variations and dynamics of the new business creation process that differs from the identified stages.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the financial performance, capital structure, and firm value in family and non-family firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2017-2019. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling technique and data analysis used a pairwise sample methodology by comparing family and non-family firm. The results of this study indicate that there is no difference in finance performance as proxied by sales growth, sales, return on asset (ROA), return on equity (ROE), gross profit margin (GPM), net profit margin (NPM), but there are significant differences in total asset turn over (TATO). The capital structure also shows that there is no difference between the debt to total asset ratio (DAR) and the debt to total equity ratio (DER) proxy, but there is one significant proxy, namely pre-sales working capital and there is no difference in firm value as proxied by earning per share EPS between family and non-family firm.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the impact of independent variables namely corporate social responsibility and state as moderating variables on firm performance. This study analyzes using a sample of 9 companies in the construction sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2018 using the purposive sampling technique. The tools used in this research are panel data regression and descriptive statistics. The results of the study show corporate social responsibility has positive effect but no significant on firm performance and state does not moderate the effect of corporate social responsibility on firm performanceThis study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the impact of independent variables namely corporate social responsibility and state as moderating variables on firm performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating role of customer satisfaction in the relationship between a customer's lifestyle and service quality to repurchase intention. The population in this study were the customers of Hijablogue Boutique in Brebes Regency with a number of samples of 100 customers. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the study indicate that lifestyle and service quality has a positive influence on customer satisfaction. Lifestyle, service quality and customer satisfaction have a positive influence on repurchase intention. Lastly, customer satisfaction could mediate the influence of lifestyle and service quality on repurchase intention.
