Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the variable firm size (Size), business risk (risk), and liquidity (CR) of the debt policy (DTA) and the effect of the debt policy on firm value (PBV) in the companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) the period of 2007-2011. This study uses purposive sampling method to take samples. The data obtained based on the publication of Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), obtained a total sample of 32 companies. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis stages. Hypothesis testing using the t test. Similarly, the business risk variable positive and significant effect on the debt policy because it has a significance value smaller than 5% level. While the liquidity variable and significant negative effect on the debt policy because it has significant value which is lower than the 5% significance level. And the debt policy itself has a positive and significant impact on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Earning Per Share, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Equity and Current Ratio to Price to Book Value on advertising printing  media  companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017. This  research  is  descriptive  quantitative  research.  The  research  population  is  all advertising printing  media  companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017 with a total of 15 companies. The sample selection was determined by purposive sampling technique with the criteria of the stock being sampled were the companies that published theirfinancial statements during the consecutive research year, so that samples are  12 companies were obtained. This study uses a statistical panel data regression analysis tool. The results of the study using Earning Per Share, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Equity and Current Ratio to Price to Book Value have results, the Debt To Equity Ratio variable affects the dependent variable Price to Book Value, while the other independent variables have no effect, that is; Earning Per Share, Return On Equity and Current Ratio. With the value of R Squared of 66.5% which explains the large influence on Price to Book Value.

Abstract

Timeliness of the submission of Go's financial statements public is important for disclosing accounting information used by market participants in the investment decision-making process. This study aims to find empirical evidence about the factors that are affect the timeliness of financial reporting of manufacturing sector companies the consumer goods industry which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Factors tested in this study are return on assets, current ratio, and total assets. The population in this study is the Industrial Sector Manufacturing Company Consumer goods a total of 40 companies are then taken as many samples 28 companies use purposive sampling techniques. Analytical techniques used logistic regression with a confidence level of 5%. The results of the study shows that profitability has a significant effect on accuracy financial reporting time, whereas liquidity and company size are not significantly influence the timeliness of financial reporting.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the influence of financial variables are: total assets, proceeds, Financial leverage, ROA of the company’s stock-market pricing of IPO. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of a list of manufacturing companies that do an IPO in 2006-2007. Based on the analysis of regression, All independen variable have influence for dependen variable, From the results of the F test showed jointly significant effect on the determination of the share price after listing on the secondary market When viewed in a partial, of the four independent variables there are 2 variables that have a significant effect in determining the offering price that is, total assets, proceeds. And for variable Financial leverage and ROA are not significant in determining the offering. The amount of influence of independent variables to the stock price as the dependent variable 55.3%, and mean 44.7% influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Business competition in the development in the era of globalization and high environmental damage requires companies to be able to meet the needs of consumers but also protect the preservation of the environment. This research is a quantitative causal research that allows to know the relationship that is influential between two or more variables by using two hypothesis tests, simple regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study is Ades mineral water consumers who live in the city of Klaten, while the study sample was 125 respondents with a non-probability sampling purposive sampling method as a sampling method. Based on the results of research that environmental knowledge has a significant effect on consumer attitudes, environmental knowledge has no significant effect on purchase intention, consumer attitudes positively influence purchase intention. The attitude of consumers is also a variable that mediates the influence of environmental knowledge on purchase intention, the results of this study indicate that consumer attitudes do not mediate between independent and dependent variables. In this study the mediating variable is a fulling mediation model because a to Z has a significant effect, b to Y has a significant effect, and X to Y has no significant influence.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out the influence of the perception of generation Y (consideration of job market, career motivation, family influence, social value of job, and career lifestyle) on career choice in students of Management Study Program of Ahmad Dahlah University. The population of the study was students of Management Study Program of Ahmad Dahlan University of class 2015. The sample collecting technique used was purposive sampling, with a sample critrion of those who took thesis subject with a total og 212 students. The data analysis used in the study was multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of the study show that the career motivation and socual value of the job significantly influenced career choice in students of Management Study Program of Ahmad Dahlan Unversity, while the consideration of job market, family influence and career lifestyle did not significantly influence career choice in students of Management Study Program of Ahmad Dahlan Unversity. Futhermore, through F test, is showed that the consideration of job market, career motivation, family influence the social value of job and career lifestyle simultaneously significantly influenced career choice in students of Management Study Program of Ahmad Dahlan University. The R square calue obtained was 0,772. This, it can be interpreted that the influence contribution of the independent variables (consideration of job market (X1), career motivation (X2), family influence (X3), social value of job (X4) and career lifestyle (X5) on the dependent variable career choice (Y) was 77,2%, while the other 22,8% can be explained by other variables that were not observed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the product, price, promotion and distribution channels on the buying behavior of Indomie instant noodle consumers in the city of Yogyakarta. The dependent variable used is Purchasing Behavior, while the independent variables are Product, Price, Promotion and Distribution Channels. The population in this study is the people of the city of Yogyakarta, aged 18 years and over and have bought Indomie instant noodles which were then taken as many as 95 samples. The instrument test used was Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with a confidence level of 5% and hypothesis testing was performed using the t test and F test. The results of this study showed that the product had a positive and significant effect on purchasing behavior not proven with a probability value of 0.208 greater than α 0.05. Price has a positive and significant effect on buying behavior is not proven with a probability value of 0.147 greater than α 0.05. Promotion positive and significant effect on purchasing behavior is proven, with a probability value of 0.002 smaller than α 0.05 and the distribution channel has a positive and significant effect on purchasing behavior not proven, with a probability value of 0.186 greater than α 0.05. While simultaneously the independent variable has a significant effect on Purchasing Behavior, with a significance value of 0.000 less than α 0.05. The coefficient of determination is 0.381 which means that all independent variables of 38.1% can explain the dependent variable of buying behavior while the remaining 61.9% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study is entitled Analysis of the Effect of Financial Financial Ratios on Stock Returns on Consumer Goods Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2014. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the variable Current ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Earning per Share (EPS), and Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) affect the stock return. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and R2. T test results prove that the CR variable has no effect on stock returns with a probability value of 0.9755, the DER variable has no effect on stock returns with a probability value of 0.9442, the EPS variable has an effect on stock returns with a probability value of 0.0049, and TATO has no effect on stock returns with a probability value of 0.9809. The test results with the F test prove that the variables CR, DER, EPS, and TATO simultaneously have no effect on stock returns with a probability value of 0.050589. The R2 test result, 0.278689, shows that the dependent variable of stock returns can be explained by the independent variables CR, DER, EPS, and TATO by 27.8% while the remaining 72.2% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the market reaction to announcements of dividend increases and decreases in the Banking Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008-2010 period. This study population was 31 banking companies that announced dividend increases and decreases during the period 2008-2010. Data collection technique used was purposive sampling. Of the 31 existing populations, selected 7 samples that meet the criteria penelitian. Teknik analysis of the data used is the one sample t-test. The research proves that in 2009 the abnormal return only occurs on day 5 before the announcement of devidend increase, while the other day, thus indicating no abnormal return. Research in 2010, it is known that there is no abnormal return on announcement of an increase or descrease in dividends.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of country of origin, brand image, and perceived quality of purchase interest in Yamaha V-Ixion motorbikes in Yogyakarta City, samples taken were 100 respondents using non-probability sampling methods with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is no significant influence between the country of origin variables on buying interest; (2) There is a significant influence between brand image variables on buying interest; (3) There is a significant influence between perceived quality variables on buying interest; and (4) country of origin, brand image, and perceived quality simultaneously influence buying interest.
