Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of utilizing Google Sites on students’ self-regulated learning (SRL) abilities within Integrated Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) instruction, with learning motivation acting as a mediating variable. The research is grounded in the urgent need for educational transformation toward interactive, technology driven learning that cultivates learner autonomy in the context of 21st century education. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach through a case study design, the research involved 100 upper-grade students from SDN Jrebeng Kulon 1, Probolinggo City. Data were gathered using structured questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis to determine both direct and indirect effects among the studied variables. Findings reveal that the integration of Google Sites exerts a positive and statistically significant influence on students’ self-regulated learning, with an R Square value of 0.289, indicating that 28.9% of the variance in SRL is jointly explained by Google Sites usage and learning motivation. Moreover, learning motivation functions as a mediating factor that strengthens this relationship. These results align with Zimmerman’s (2023) Self Regulated Learning Theory and Deci & Ryan’s (2000) Self-Determination Theory, which emphasize autonomy, competence, and social relatedness. Theoretically, the study reinforces the pedagogical potential of digital technology integration in stimulating cognitive, affective, and metacognitive domains. Practically, it recommends that educators employ Google Sites not merely as a content delivery platform but as a transformative medium to cultivate adaptive, technology-based learner autonomy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL), audiovisual media, and school environment on students' learning motivation in Social Studies (IPS) at SDN Bantaran 1. Specifically, it investigates the partial and simultaneous effects of the three independent variables on students' learning motivation. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consisted of all fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students at SDN Bantaran 1, totaling 77 students, who were also used as the research sample (saturated sampling). Data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression, including t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²), with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed that only the school environment variable had a significant positive effect on learning motivation (Sig. = 0.002 < 0.05). In contrast, Problem Based Learning and audiovisual media did not show a significant partial effect. However, all three variables together had a significant simultaneous effect on learning motivation (F = 9.045, Sig. = 0.000). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.271, indicating that 27.1% of the variation in learning motivation could be explained by the three independent variables. These findings suggest that the school environment plays a more dominant role in shaping students' learning motivation, compared to the applied learning model and media used .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the urgency of fiqh parenting in shaping the moral development of digital native children from the perspective of Ustadz Adi Hidayat as conveyed through YouTube content. The research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis as the primary method. Data were collected through non-participant observation, video documentation, and a review of relevant literature. The data were analyzed systematically and objectively to explore the meanings of fiqh parenting values presented in the content, with data validity strengthened through theoretical triangulation and persistent observation. The findings indicate that fiqh parenting as taught by Ustadz Adi Hidayat emphasizes parental role modeling, gentle communication, affection, and the reinforcement of faith-based values as the foundation of children’s moral development. This approach is considered relevant in addressing moral challenges faced by digital native children, such as exposure to negative online content, weakened emotional regulation, and reduced social interaction. Fiqh parenting provides a practical framework for parents to guide children in using digital technology wisely without neglecting spiritual and moral values. This study recommends that future research employ empirical approaches to examine the effectiveness of fiqh parenting implementation in family life and develop adaptive, context-sensitive digital-based parenting education programs.

Abstract

This study explores the conceptual integration of deep learning within Islamic Education through a comparative analysis of the educational philosophies of John Dewey and Paulo Freire. Responding to the growing challenge of technological disruption in education, the study argues that the implementation of deep learning should not be limited to technical or mechanistic approaches, but must be grounded in strong philosophical and ethical foundations. Using an interpretative qualitative method, this research employs comparative thematic analysis to examine key concepts such as experience, reflection, dialogue, critical consciousness, and social transformation in the works of Dewey and Freire. The findings reveal that Dewey’s pragmatic and democratic orientation toward experiential learning complements Freire’s critical and emancipatory pedagogy aimed at social justice. Their integration offers a transformative learning framework that aligns with the moral, spiritual, and social values of Islamic Education. This study contributes theoretically by formulating a conceptual model of deep learning that bridges pragmatic and critical perspectives, and practically by offering a value-oriented direction for educators in designing reflective, dialogical, and socially responsive learning environments. The proposed framework positions Islamic Education as a mediating force between technological advancement and humanistic educational transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of a learning service program for slow-learner students at SDN Kadokan 02, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency, during the period of August–September 2025. The research aims to identify the learning difficulties experienced by slow-learner students and to analyze the strategies used by teachers to overcome these challenges through adaptive, structured, and student- centered interventions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving classroom teachers, parents, and two slow-learner students. The findings indicate that slow-learner students experience difficulties in concentration, processing information, and completing tasks within the expected time. Teachers implemented several strategies such as chunking materials into smaller units, using key-point-based guidance, providing repeated instruction, and offering intensive mentoring through modified worksheets and individualized learning schedules. The study concludes that personalized learning support, consistent collaboration between teachers and parents, and the use of simplified key-point-based materials significantly help improve students' participation and understanding. These findings highlight the importance of adaptive learning services in ensuring inclusive and equitable education for slow-learner students.

Abstract

In the rapidly developing modern era, the main challenge in Islamic education is how to maintain the truth values taught in Islam, especially among the younger generation exposed to globalization, social media, and secular lifestyles. This study aims to analyze the role of discipline in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at MTs Nurul Abror Asembakor Kraksaan Probolinggo in preserving Islamic values amid the progress of the times. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, through semi-structured interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. Data were collected from 10 IRE teachers, 30 students, and 5 school administrators. The results of the study show that religious discipline is applied well within the school; however, the main challenge arises from the influence of social media and peer pressure outside the school. Furthermore, technology plays a dual role: on one hand, it can strengthen religious learning, but on the other hand, it also becomes a source of distraction. This study concludes that in order to preserve Islamic values, religious discipline needs to be applied consistently across all aspects of students' lives, both inside and outside school. The implications of this study suggest the need for synergy between schools, families, and communities in supporting Islamic education that is relevant to the challenges of the times. The recommendations of this study include the development of curricula and training programs that involve parents and the community in strengthening religious discipline among students.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of educational supervision in strengthening an Islamic values-based quality culture at MI Muhammadiyah Kasihan IV Tegalombo. In the Society 5.0 era, Islamic schools are expected to produce not only intelligent but also moral and civilized students. The study uses a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, staff, and students. Analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model with source triangulation for validity. The findings reveal that educational supervision is conducted in a humanistic and reflective manner. The principal acts as a murabbi, guiding teachers’ professional and spiritual growth. Quality culture develops from faith-based awareness rather than systemic pressure. The values of sincerity, trustworthiness, excellence (ihsan), and responsibility underpin all educational activities. Supervision is carried out through dialogue and consultation, fostering a spirit of togetherness. Islamic values-based supervision effectively strengthens quality culture, creating a learning ecosystem that is high-quality, character-driven, and spiritually grounded reviving education’s essence as a process of humanization.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the gap between the holistic objectives of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), namely spiritual and moral transformation (tazkiyah), and learning practices that are often verbalistic and rote-oriented. To bridge this gap, this study proposes the integration of the Tafsir Tarbawi approach, which extracts educational principles from the Qur'an, with the theory of Experiential Learning from modern pedagogy. Using qualitative research methods of library research and content analysis, this study aims to: (1) analyze the meaning of experience as a source of learning in the epistemology of Tafsir Tarbawi, (2) examine Islamic values in the framework of Experiential Learning, and (3) formulate pedagogical implications for PAI. The results show that Tafsir Tarbawi interprets experience (tajribah) as a divine epistemological path which, through reflection (tadabbur), leads to the strengthening of faith and morals. Core Islamic values such as Tawhid, Akhlak, Ukhuwah, and Rahmah can be effectively internalized through the experiential learning cycle. As a synthesis, this study formulates the TT-EL (Tafsir Tarbawi-Experiential Learning) Model, which offers an operational framework for transforming PAI learning to be more contextual, reflective, and meaningful.
