Abstract

Wulukubun Arso XIV, District Skanto Kerom regency is overgrown with stingging nettle leaves that are useful as traditional medicine as pain relief, reduce fatigue, and reduce stiffness. Stingging nettle leaves are found in the village but they are only allowed to dry, wilted, dead, even thrown away. On the other hand the value of this leaf is higher if they are developed as pharmaceutical products. The purpose of this activity was to carry out a program to empower, strengthen community participation in swamedication and optimization the potency of stingging nettle leaf to raise the health and economics of Wulukubun Arso XIV people as topical ointment. This activity was taked out by the preparation method, established cooperation with partners, related institutions, activities of the activity day in the village, evaluation, report, and publication. The results showed 7.4% of participants have followed the same activity. As many as 88.9% of participants got new information from this activity and 70.4% committed to assist others in disseminating the information from this activity

Abstract

IbM activities implemented is training for children in Panti Asuhan Yatim Puteri Aisyiyah Cabang Kota Barat dan Panti Asuhan Yatim Puteri Aisyiyah II Kadipiro to produce nata. The skills in producing nata are suitable for women orphanage because the methode is simple, the tools and materilas are easily obtained and can potentially be used as new enterpreneur. The methodology includes : 1) a test product manufacturing, 2) preparation of modules for training, 3) the provision of tools and training materials, 4) training in producing, harvesting and packing of nata, 5) mentoring activities of production and marketing. Results achieved from this activity are: 1) training activities to produce nata for women orphanage have been completed and get good responses from attendees, 2) trainees can produce 3 nata variant, i.e., nata de coco, nata de soya and nata de pina,3) organoleptic results include the aroma, color, flavor, texture and suppleness, it brings that overall, each variant of the nata has the same favorite level with a value of 5 (scale 7), 4) trainees has marketed its products directly and online by instagram address : @kenesnata.

Abstract

The purpose of the implementation of Community Services (PPM) is to improve the quality and quantity of production and improve the management of business on the business Vegetable Chips on Women Farmers Group "Sejahtera" in the village Kopen, Teras, Boyolali. Specifically, problems faced are: (1) the production process that is still simple to limited production capacity and the quality is not optimal, and (2) business management on Women Farmers Group "Sejahtera" is not well ordered so that the business profits can not be calculated correctly. The target of these activities are (1) the production capacity can be increased both quality and quantity, and (2) the business finances can be managed properly so that business profit can be calculated correctly. An outcome of this activity is the publication of a scientific article in the Journal of the National (ISSN). Based on these problems, the method to be performed are: (1) to provide business management training, training to be undertaken include: (a) the financial management training, maintaining cash flow remains liquid (b) accounting training simple to calculate profit businesses and (2) improve the production process by giving stimulant funds to upgrade existing equipment by using a greater capacity to increase production capacity.Keywords: Vegetable Chips, Business Management, Productivity

Abstract

Science and technology for society (IbM) is intended for business partners of Ojek coachman gig and pedicab drivers are available in traditional markets Merjosari, Lowokwaru, Malang. The IbM program is aimed to preserve transport people, improve performance coachman gig and pedicab drivers, and enhance the capabilities and employability at a time of family welfare partners. Specific targets to be achieved IbM programs that ease the workload of partners and increase revenue and improve motorcycle taxi transportation service so well that the partner revenue increased. To achieve the objectives and targets of this IbM program, a team of devotees using methods which include socialization, counseling and training motorcycle, helping modification rickshaw ontel be Pedicab, free service motor tricycles, improvement of physical performance rickshaws and carts, fermentation and formula feed concentrate high energy horse, coaching and mentoring efforts. The IbM program results indicate that all the activities responded well by partners coachman gig and a pedicab driver. Performance rickshaws and carts, and the performance of the motorcycle taxi drivers and coachman more attractive, growing customer segment, the knowledge and skills of motorcycle taxi drivers bentor about light treatment increases, the coachman gig have knowledge and skills in making the concentrate feed for his horse. Furthermore, the partner revenue increased as efforts can preserve local culture. The output of this program is the product of horse feed concentrate nutritious and high energy, modif bentor and journal articles. Conclusions from the implementation of the program is to improve the performance IbM bentor, carts, rickshaw drivers so as to increase the number of subscribers and revenues as capital to preserve its business.Keywords:traditional taxi, concentrate, business performance

Abstract

Tanjungharjo Village, Nanggulan, Kulonprogo, has wide variety of agricultural products that has not been processed optimally. One example is breadfruit. The cultivation and development of this breadfruit has been started by the government of Special District of Yogyakarta since 2003. With several ways of processing, breadfruit fruits can be used to support food diversification. The Successful of development and diversification of breadfruit processing into region’s food can increase its selling value so that impact on improving public welfare. Klajuran is one Hamlet of Tanjungharjo Village, has ‘Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Ngudi Makmur’ with 25 members joining. This group is usually processing breadfruit using the traditional ways by steaming or friying, but the product is not so acceptable by the community. One of the factors causing the lack of processing of these products is the lack of knowledge about the various ways of processing, packaging technology and financial management in producing various foods from breadfruit as business opportunity. Based on the description, the research and community service institutions of Mercu Buana University of Yogyakarta has provided counseling and training on the processing of breadfruit’s donut cake, packaging and financial management to increase the economic income of the group members.Keywords: Bredfruit, donut cake, counseling, training, production

Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Indonesia mempunyai tanaman yang mengandung banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan masyarakat diantaranya tanaman kelor (Moringa oleifera L.). Salah satu manfaat yang dapat diambil dari tanaman kelor terdapat pada daunnya. Masyarakat biasa menggunakan daun kelor sebagai pelengkap dalam masakan. Pemanfaatan dan pengolahan daun kelor secara luas belum banyak dilakukan di Indonesia. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai manfaat daun kelor untuk kesehatan, kurangnya pengetahuan dan antusiasme masyarakat dalam melakukan pemanfaatan daun kelor serta belum banyak masyarakat Indonesia yang mengonsumsinya. Untuk itu, perlu adanya inovasi dalam mengolah daun kelor menjadi suatu produk yang dapat diterima masyarakat agar kandungan nutrisi dalam daun kelor dapat dimanfaatkan oleh tubuh. Daun kelor dapat dibuat menjadi bubuk untuk mempermudah pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan pangan fungsional. Inovasi yang kami uji coba disini yaitu pemanfaatan bubuk daun kelor dalam bentuk permen jeli. Dengan memformulasikan bubuk daun kelor ke dalam formula permen jeli akan menambah nilai gizi dalam permen jeli. Selain itu, permen jeli kelor ini nantinya dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) sebagai suatu pangan fungsional yang mampu diterima oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat terutama anak-anak.   Kata kunci: Moringa oleifera L.,miracle tree, bubuk daun kelor, permen jeli, kesehatanABSTRACT Background: Indonesia has a plant that contains many benefits for the health of the community such as moringa (Moringa oleifera L.). One of the benefits that can be derived from the moringa plant is found in the leaves. Ordinary people use moringa leaves as a complement in cooking. The utilization and processing of Moringa leaves has not been widely implemented in Indonesia. This is due to the lack of community knowledge about the benefits of moringa leaves for health, lack of knowledge and enthusiasm of the community in making use of the leaves of Moringa and not many people of Indonesia who consume them. For that, the need for innovation in processing the leaves of Moringa into a product that can be accepted by the public for the nutritional content in the leaf kelor can be utilized by the body. Moringa leaves can be made into powder to facilitate its utilization as functional food. The innovation that we tested here is the utilization of powdered leaf kelor in the form of candy jelly. Formulating Moringa leaf powder into a candy jelly formula will add nutritional value to the candy jelly. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk membantu sanggar yang memiliki lebih dari 100 orang peserta didik dalam melaksanakan evaluasi keterampilan menari, sebelum diadakan ujian kenaikan tingkat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa penerapan sistem evaluasi dengan menggunakan web e-assessment yang dapat membantu instruktur dalam memantau perkembangan keterampilan menari peserta didiknya selama proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini melibatkan dua mitra sangar tari dengan mempertimbangkan jumlah peserta didik, prestasi yang telah diperoleh sanggar tari, kompetensi instruktur, dan kurikulum yang dimiliki sanggar. Metode penerapan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan 6 kali pertemuan dengan materi 1) pengenalan tujuan dan manfaat menggunakan sistem evaluasi yang berbasis IT, 2) praktik penggunaan web e-assessment yang dimulai dari membuka kelas atau log in kelas, membuka kursus, membuat indikator kemampuan, mengklasifikasikan materi ke dalam tiap tingkatan, cara meng-up load materi tari yang diujikan, 3) memberikan umpan balik bagi instruktur. Hasil dari kegatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tari di sanggar, baik instruktur maupun pimpinan sanggar dalam memonitoring keterampilan menari siswa di setiap ragam geraknya dari waktu ke waktu secara berkelanjutan, dengan mudah dan terdokumentasi.

Abstract

During this time the carrot farmer groups in the village Gondosuli, Tawangmangu have constraints in the development of agribusiness carrots from the upstream aspects, on- farm up to downstream. And one of the main problems here is the difficulty in increasing production and the sale value of the carrots produced. Therefore devotion here is doing the processing and marketing technology introduction lunkhead carrots ie processing tools lunkhead carrots, entrepreneurship training and food processing carrots. Activity introduction of post-harvest technology is urgently needed by the farmer groups carrots Gondosuli in increasing production and selling value during the carrots that have a low value. Abstract

The purpose of this activity are: (1) improve the quality and productivity of UKM through the provision of machine presses for first partners and machine  mixer for second partners; (2) help create tranquility, security and comfort in consuming wet noodle through noodle products that meet the quality requirements SNI 01-2987-1992; Specific target availability noodle products are hygienic and healthy appropriate quality requirements SNI 01-2987-1992.The results of activity are: (1) UKM Mie Pendowo has managed to increase its production through the provision of Machine Presses from 25 kg to 50 kg. It also increases the number of customers from 6 to 8 people. (2) UKM Mie OjoLali has managed to increase its production through the machine to make dough mixer become more effective and efficient. Supply of Machinery Mixer to increase the production of 150 kg / day to 175 kg / day. 3.
