Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study is to assess the technical and financial feasibility of procurement investment Tray Dryer fueled biomass to operations of coconut shell charcoal briquette in PT. Tropica Nucifera Industry. The result showed that investment-Tray Dryer on cocnut shell charcoal briquette bussiness was highly feasibile both the technical and financial aspects. The technical aspect was seen that the quantity-production capabilities of coconut shell charcoal briquettes using a dryer-Tray Dryer could be increased 15 percent compared the previous consdition-used of solar energy. While the quality of the charcoal briquettes produced from Tray Dryer was a much butter quality, moisture content (6.39%); ash (2.65%); carbon-bound (85.83%), compared to using sunlight, water content (15.89); ash (2.57%) and carbon-bound (77.32%).The financial aspects of procurement Tray Dryer investment that its value was more feasible than previous, nothing Tray Dryer. Coconut shell charcoal briquet enterprises without using Tray Dryer was feasible to be done with NPV 1,058,928.12, IRR 63%, Payback Period 1 year and 9 moths, Net B/C 2.25 and analysis of swicthcing value reached 20 percent. And after the business using Tray Drayer, the financial analysis was much more feasible with NPV 2,285,500,498.12, IRR 113%, Payback Period 11 months, Net B/C 3.5 and analysis of switching value reached 50 percent.Keywords: Coconut Shell Charcoal Briquettes, Tray Dryer, Investment Feasibility, Financial and Technical

Abstract

Desa Prima is one of the policies of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment to break the poverty chain and women empowerment through productive economic development. “Kenanga” group is one of the Desa Prima with 21 active members engaged in culinary (81%), handicraft (9.5%), and services (9.5%). During the pandemic, sales are decreasing drastically. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an alternative business to survive and develop. By using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, these service activities aim to provide alternative product diversification. This service provided training in making “pisang sanggan” and “Jadah Wajik” as delivery in “seserahan” ceremony. This training was chosen because it is still relevant to the business field of the participants and can increase selling. The results show that the training increases participants’ understanding, skills, and creativity in making “Pisang sanggan” and “Jadah Wajik” and selling the product 100%.

Abstract

The creative industry is one of the solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic. The creative industry can adapt to changing times. MSME partners have problems in production, management, and marketing. The purpose of this service activity is to create industry products that are expected to become creative industry products that can compete. The method used is the 4P technique, the stages of implementation are observation, implementation, training, and mentoring. This community service activity took place in Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java Province. The partner mentoring process was carried out in Pandeyan Village for MSMEs Martha Mebel while Mukti Jaya's MSMEs took place in Gagaksipat Village. The training process for using the POS system is located in Gagaksipat Village where one of the community service members is located. During the training, he was also accompanied by students from the Mathematics Study Program, FMIPA UNS. The results of the training activities that have been carried out are that the training participants can operate the POS system. In this dedication activity, there was quite intense interaction between the participants and the presenters. At the end of this activity, participants can operate the POS system that has been developed. Participants can enter item and category data, besides that participants can make sales transactions and sales reports. The suggestion from this service activity is that there is support for devices and the internet that supports being able to access and edit the POS system that has been made.

Abstract

Peluang usaha coffee shop meluas dari daerah perkotaan sampai pedesaan. Meningkatnya jumlah coffee shop menimbulkan persaingan pemasaran, hal ini didukung dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi menuju pasar persaingan. Terdapat hambatan dalam pemasaran di Kopi Lawe Kota Surakarta yang menjadi ancaman bagi perusahaan, sehingga perlu analisis kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal sehingga dapat menghasilkan alternatif strategi yang dapat digunakan Kopi Lawe Surakarta dalam melakukan kegiatan pemasaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui kondisi umum pemasaran produk Kopi Lawe Surakarta, (2) mengidentifikasi faktor internal pemasaran produk Kopi Lawe Surakarta, (3) mengidentifikasi faktor eksternal pemasaran produk Kopi Lawe di Kota Surakarta, (4) merumuskan alternatif strategi yang diterapkan dalam pemasaran produk Kopi Lawe Surakarta, dan (5) merumuskan prioritas strategi untuk pemasaran produk Kopi Lawe Surakarta. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan mixed method serta metode penentuan lokasi secara purposive. Key informan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive dan snowball. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu (1) Matriks IFE dan EFE (2) Matriks Grand Strategy dan Matriks SWOT (3) Matriks QSPM. Hasil penelitian terdapat 4 alternatif strategi dari matriks SWOT. Prioritas strategi untuk pemasaran produk Kopi Lawe Surakarta adalah menjaga kualitas produk dan tenaga kerja dengan nilai STAS 6,172.

Abstract

Food consumption represents a pivotal dimension in enhancing food resilience. This research aims to analyze patterns of food consumption and factors influencing these consupposition patterns. Unlike previous studies that focused only on the level of quanity consumption that examine the level of energy and protein consumption, this study also examined quality consumption by analysing the diversity of food consumption. Furthermore, this study is the first to explore consumption patterns in cassava farmers’ households. The research was deliberately conducted in the Pracimantori and Jumantono districts, recognized as the largest cassava-producing regions within the Wonogiri Regency. The dataset comprised 70 cassava farming households, selected through accidental sampling techniques. Household food consumption was quantified using the 2x24-hour food recall method. Analytical methods employed encompassed energy consumption rates (ECR), protein consumption rates (PCR), expected dietary patterns (EDP), and multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that the average household energy and protein consumption were 1,660.13 kcal/capita/day and 55.48 grams/capita/day, respectively. The ECR and PCR values were 78.67% and 89.37%, categorising them as inadequate and moderate, respectively. The EDP score for the households was 74.7, signifying a suboptimal category. The grain and legume food groups exceeded the recommended EDP values, while other food groups remained below the recommended thresholds. An analysis of influencing factors on household food consumption patterns indicated that household size and the age of the household head significantly impacted household energy consumption. In contrast, household income, maternal education, and land area exhibited no significant influence.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine costumer satisfaction and loyalty in consuming coffee beverage products in the coffee shop case study at Sekutu Kopi Solo. The basic research method is descriptive. The research located at Sekutu Kopi Solo. Sampling using purposive sampling method. The number of research samples is 102 respondents. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis method used are descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. Data processing in this study used the SmartPLS version 3 software. The results showed that Sekutu Kopi costumers based on gender were dominated by male costumers, based on age dominated by the age range of 20-24 years, based on domicile dominated by respondents from Surakarta and surrounding areas , based on education level dominated by respondents with the last education level of high school, based on work dominated by students, and based on income dominated by income of more than IDR3,500,000.00. Research shows service, price, and taste variables have a positive and significant effect on costumer satisfaction. The costumer satisfaction variable has a positive and significant effect on costumer loyalty. Service, price, and taste variables have a positive and significant impact on costumer loyalty. Service, price, and taste variables have a positive and significant effect on costumer loyalty partially mediated by customer satisfaction.Keywords: satisfaction, loyalty, coffee shop Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepuasan dan loyalitas konsumen dalam mengonsumsi produk minuman kopi di coffee shop studi kasus di Sekutu Kopi Solo. Metode dasar penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian yaitu Sekutu Kopi Solo. Pengambilan sampel meggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 102 responden. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsumen Sekutu Kopi berdasarkan jenis kelamin didominasi oleh konsumen laki-laki, berdasarkan usia didominasi oleh rentang usia 20-24 tahun, berdasarkan domisili didominasi oleh responden asal Surakarta dan sekitarnya, berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan didominasi oleh responden dengan tingkat pendidikan terakhir SMA, berdasarkan pekerjaan didominasi oleh pelajar/mahasiswa, dan berdasarkan pendapatan didominasi oleh pendapatan lebih dari Rp3.500.000,00. Penelitian menunjukkan variabel pelayanan, harga, dan cita rasa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Variabel kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Variabel pelayanan, harga, dan cita rasa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Variabel pelayanan, harga, dan cita rasa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen dimediasi dengan kepuasan konsumen secara parsial.Kata Kunci : kepuasan, loyalitas, kedai kopi

Abstract

Migration plays a crucial role in the income augmentation efforts of numerous Asian nations, although its effect on income diversification is still uncertain. This study observed 168 households with 78 migrant households in four villages in Binangun and Nusawungu districts of Cilacap Regency, Indonesia to support their livelihoods and how remittance and income is distributed among them. The data was analyzed by Binary Logistic Regression analysis a statistical technique utilized for modeling the association between a dependent variable and independent variables, family size, land area, livestock count, remittances, total income, total investment, and migrant status. The results demonstrate substantial differences in income between households with migrants and those without migrants, highlighting the vital impact of remittances and the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on developing rural economies. The results of statistics showed that remittances and total income had p-values of 0.000, highlighting their crucial role in the process of diversifying livelihoods. The limited impact of livestock suggests that it serves as a supplementary asset, whereas the lack of relevance of family size, land area, and investment implies that these factors may not be the main factors driving diversity in the research area. These findings enhance the overall comprehension of rural livelihoods by illustrating the diverse functions that various forms of capital have in determining household strategy. Additional study is required to enhance our comprehension of the interaction among remittances, migration, and livelihood strategies, establishing a basis for data-driven policies that promote economic resilience and expansion in rural regions.
