Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of posyandu cadres on the level of visits by the users. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a program evaluation approach. The results obtained from this study are that the number of visits by pregnant women, toddlers, and the elderly has increased. However, a strategy is needed to increase the interest of young women to utilize posyandu so that they can increase the number of visits by adolescents. In conclusion, the role of Posyandu cadres dramatically contributes to the health needs of small communities, especially in villages. Keywords: Cadres, Posyandu, Healthy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rope jumping games on gross motor skills in children. This study uses a Quasy Experiment research design with a One Group Pre-Post Design approach. The results of this study show the effect of jumping rope on gross motor development in children with pre-test and post-test data of jumping rope with p-value = 0.001. In conclusion, rope jumping games affect gross motor development in children because rope jumping games have jumping movements in a balanced and coordinated manner. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the birthing ball on labor pain during the first active phase in women giving birth at the Kurao maternity clinic, Padang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that the effect of the birth ball method on the intensity of labor pain in the active phase 1 before and after being given the birth ball method obtained moderate pain before providing the process was 1.80. In contrast, after being given the technique, the average pain scale was 1.30 Standard deviation of pain before the method was 0.42, and after being given the standard deviation method 0.38. The results of the statistical test showed a p-value = 0.000. In conclusion, there is a significant effect of providing the birth ball method to reduce the intensity of labor pain in the active first stage. Abstract

This study aims to optimize the application of five-moment hand hygiene for the Pematang Tiga Health Center staff. This research method uses a quantitative methodology with a quasy experiment, one group pre-test, and a post-test design approach. The results showed that the average score of staff knowledge related to five moments of hand hygiene before the intervention was 67.50, or in the excellent category. The bivariate analysis of the two data using the Paired sample t-test showed a value of p = 0.000 <0.05. In conclusion, there is a difference in the average score of staff knowledge related to five-moment hand hygiene before and after giving the intervention. Keywords: Five Moments of Hygiene, Staff

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between media factors and the incidence of bullying in school-age children. The research method used is quantitative, using an explanatory survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that the media factor chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.001 < (α = 0.05). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of video in increasing knowledge about maturing marriage age in young SMK Bakti Ibu 3 Palembang students. This research method uses a pre-experimental design with a pre-post-test design with a control group. The results showed that 18 respondents (45%) had a low level of knowledge, 20 respondents (50%) had a sufficient level of expertise, and 2 respondents (5%) had a good level of understanding. The analysis results using the t-test were obtained (p-value 0.000). In conclusion, providing educational videos can increase respondents' knowledge about maturing at the age of marriage. Abstract

This study aims to determine how effective shiatsu therapy is on the anxiety of post-op menopausal women. Mammary at Pusri Hospital. This research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental pre and post-test design. The results showed that the mean value of anxiety in the treatment and control groups was 32. The results of bivariate analysis obtained a p-value = 0.000. In conclusion, shiatsu therapy was performed eight times in Menopausal Post Op Ca women. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of progressive muscle relaxation on blood pressure after hysterectomy in the elderly. This research method uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test approach with a control group. The results showed a decrease in blood pressure of 29.2 mmHg in systolic blood pressure and 16.2 mmHg in diastolic blood pressure (p-value = 0.000; α = 0.05). In conclusion, progressive muscle relaxation effectively reduces blood pressure in post-hysterectomy elderly patients. Keywords: Hypertension, Elderly, Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of isometric handgrip exercise on the elderly and postmenopausal women with rheumatoid arthritis in hypertensive patients accompanied by rheumatoid arthritis. This research method is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design and a control group approach to pretest and posttest design. The sampling technique used in this study is nonprobability sampling. The results showed a difference in the mean difference between the elderly and menopausal women with systolic rheumatoid arthritis pre-day one and post-day 5 in the intervention and control groups (p-value = 0.000) and diastolic blood pressure (p-value = 0.015). In conclusion, isometric handgrip exercise (IHG) affects changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients accompanied by rheumatoid arthritis. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the motivation to become a nurse and the academic achievement of the Bachelor (S1) program at the Adventist University of Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative research with a correlation descriptive design. The results showed that the p-value between the motivation to become a nurse and GPA was 0.001 <0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement in the Bachelor Program (S1) of the Adventist University of Indonesia, which has a close and positive relationship.
