Abstract

AbstractGlobalization as a multi-dimensional phenomenon at some point generate a variety of perspectives. On the one hand, the scientists assume that globalization is a science paradigrma (grand theory) in the scholarly community service, but if we look at the broader aspects of the globalization of the implications of globalization also posed on the pattern of development of science and technology world. Th is paper tries to elaborate the implications of globalization as an approach in the social sciences to the pattern of development of science and technology. In the early 1970s gold reached a stage of development of capitalism and technological development pattern at that time adopted many technological developments (hard technology) but when in the 1990s era of globalization comes the pattern of technological developments turn out to be more humane. What happens is that there is an attempt to force a culture to another culture. Th is will have a big impact on the life of society. Today, people fed to then make Western culture as daily until the new kemudian budaya releasing or removing people's identity. To overcome it, clearly need to be selective in accepting a culture.Keyword: globalization, technology, culture.

Abstract

This research describes the marketing strategy of higher education with model approach of Islamic Marketing concept. To know that customer loyalty has been recognized as an important source to maintain sustainable competition within an institution. Institutions of higher education is one of the organizations that have a level of intense competition. Increased customer loyalty can be done by an institution of higher education to maintain the increasingly tight competition. This paper answers how the strategies undertaken by higher education institutions in mepertahankan competition, through Islamic Markeing concept approach. The results of this study are: customer satisfaction is built on the basis of sharia values, where marketers in serving customers always behave and behave, among others: first gentle, second, generous, and third, customer priority (Îtsâr).

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan dapat dilihat dari peran serta kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin (leadership). Arah kebijaka yang diambil berdampak pada kinerja seluruh elemen-elemen pendidikan. Sehingga totality dan kuality akan bisa dirasakan seluruh steak holder, dengan berorientasi dan tolok ukur pada kepuasan pelanggan (siswa dan wali murid). Pola kinerja kepala sekolah dapat dilihat dengan empat model yaitu; (1) Pemimpin Otokratis; (2) Pemimpin Pseudo-Demokratis; (3) Pemimpin Lasissez-Faire; (4) Pemimpin Demokratis. Dari empat model tersebut seorang pemimpin dipengaruhi relasi-relasi, baik itu kepada pemerintah, stake holder eksternal, stake holder internal dan lembaga-lembaga sejenis. Hasil dan kemampuan seorang pemimpin dikatakan berhasil apabila mampu memuaskan pelanggan (siswa dan wali murid).

Abstract

AbstractThis paper explains the issues Gender in al Qur’an and Islam. Adaptation of gender discourse in Islam have generated various respons among moslem, which can be classified in to at least three groups. First, outspoken group refuse the adaptation gender into moslem community. They have claimed gender issues represent the product of Western civilization and not a part of Islamic doctrine. Second, group that supporting adaptation of gender issues in Islam world. Third, critical group to issues gender in Islam. In one side, they active to campaign about gender equality in Islam world. But in the other side they also give the critic. This paper, focus on moslem feminists thougt, especially in al Qur’an interpretation. They attend in newly perspective about interpreting sentences of al Qur’an, especially that talking about the women rights, like polygamy, violence, justice, waris, divorce and veil usage. All of moslem feminists sure that Islam esteem the women rights. But, moslem intellectual have to reinterpretate the sentences of al Qur’an to get the deep meaning.Keywords: Islam, gender, tafsir

Abstract

AbstractPlurality is a fact and can not be denied in society, Islam as a moderate religion, which a justice, and always invites people to facilitate religious and possess compassion for fellow human beings. Islam rejects the conservative attitudes, opacity, and setbacks. On the other hand, Islam also rejects definitively all forms of oppression, hostility, murder, and destruction (on behalf of unifying the Ummah). All humans in the natural world was created from the same origin. No excess of one than the other, but the most good in the discharge of its functions sebagimana caliph of God on earth, which is more useful for humanity, and the most piety to Allah SWT. Differences of race and nation merely as a sign and identity in social life of society. Islam recognizes the plurality, as in Q.S. Al-Hujurat verse; 13. Islam recognizes the differences in nation, tribe, ethnicity and language. This diversity can not be deleted. Abstract

Abstraksi Artikel ini membahas mengenai kemampuan membaca dan menulis responden yang merupakan mahasiswa asing di UIN Walisongo Semarang. Responden berasal dari wilayah kelompok propinsi Thailand Selatan. Kemampuan membaca dan menulis responden diukur menggunakan indikator bahasa Indonesia (Bahasa) yaitu kemampuan membaca dan menulis. Responden berjumlah 37 orang, terdiri dari 25 mahasiswi dan 12 mahasiswa yang tersebar di 3 fakultas di UIN Walisongo Semarang. Responden berusia antara 20 hingga 28 tahun dari angkatan 2012 hingga 2016. Bahasa asli dari responden adalah bahasa Melayu. Bahasa kedua yang dikuasai responden adalah bahasa Thailand. Responden belum cukup mempunyai bekal kemampuan Bahasa sebelum tiba di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data pada artikel ini menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil temuan yang diperoleh untuk indikator membaca adalah mean atau rata-rata responden dalam membaca tulisan Bahasa berada pada angka 22. Angka tersebut berada di antara interval 21 – 22  yang menunjuk pada kategori sedang. Sedangkan hasil temuan untuk indikator menulis adalah mean berada pada angka 25. Angka 25 terletak di antara interval 24 – 25 yang menunjuk pada kategori sedang. Kategori ini menggunakan interval standar lima yaitu sangat tinggi, tinggi, sedang, rendah dan sangat rendah. Kesimpulan yang dapat diperoleh dalam artikel ini adalah baik kemampuan membaca dan menulis responden menggunakan Bahasa berada pada kategori sedang.Kata kunci : membaca, menulis Bahasa, mahasiswa Thailand Selatan ***AbstractThis article discusses the writing and reading skills of South Thailand students at UIN Walisongo Semarang. The respondents were from the province of South Thailand, their skills were measured by using an indicator of ability to write and speak Bahasa. They were 37 students from 2012 till 2016, who aged between 20 to 28 years old. The 12 students were males while the rest were female students. These students were spread across 3 faculties. Their original language was Malay whereas the second one was Thai. They actually did not have adequate language skills preparation before having come to Indonesia. Data were collected by using questionnaires with average skills of reading Bahasa was 22. The score of 22 is located between 21-22 interval, which it refers to medium category. While the average of writing skills was in 25 (in a medium category as well). The conclusion that can be obtained in this article is that both the ability to read and write respondents using the language is in the medium category.Keywords :reading, writing Bahasa, students of South Thailand***

Abstract

AbstractPenetration and acculturation cause problems for the adherents of certain religions. It was experienced by Muslims when the Jewish culture influenced the heart teachings of Islam such as the interpretation of the Prophet of the Qur’an and Hadith. Fairy tales and the information obtained from Jewish culture had scattered in the works of tafsir al-Qur’an. While in the Hadith of the Prophet, the influence of Jewish culture was transformed into false hadiths (mawdlu’at) that contained stories that are misleading superstition. This article examines the influence of Jews (Israiliyat) in the interpretation of the Koran. Some of the questions that the author has answered in this paper are how the history of Jewish had influenced the religious teachings of Islam; what the dangers arise from the existence of such influences, and what efforts Muslim scholars have tackled the influences of these.

AbstrackTujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menemukan tentang penerapan model pembelajaran karakter di pondok pesantren Roudhotut Tholibin Kabupaten Rembang.Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yakni lebih melihat seperti apa penerapan media belajar dan pembelajaran berbasis pondok pesantren di Pondok Pesantren. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif dilakukan sejak sebelum memasuki lapangan, selama di lapangan dan setelah selasai di lapangan.Model pembelajaran pendidikan berbasis karakter di Pondok Pesantren Roudhotut Tholibin terdapat beberapa upaya dan rencana pembentukan karakter pada siswa atau santrinya. Hal ini ditunjukkan tata tertib santri pada buku peraturan disiplin santri, tentang tata tertib disiplin santri seperti menyiapkan petugas piket, etika izin dan berbagai jenis pelanggaran dengan konsekuensi hukuman. Proses pendidikan di Pondok pesantern melalui tahapaan-tahapan pembelajaran dalam hal penguasaan baca tulis dan hafalan al-Qur’an.Keywords: model pembelajaran, karakter siswa dan pondok pesantren.

Abstract

AbstractThis article would like to examine the values of the characters of students Asshodiqiyah islamic Boarding School Semarang. Character education is a very strategic issue today. This can be seen from the many cases of moral decadence that has entered the world of education. Starting from the persecution of students even to murder. Of course this causes anxiety for all of us.From that, it is necessary to be disclosed as one prototype model of character value education conducted in islamic boarding school as an indigenous institution that has proven to be the front guard in carrying out character education because the students of this islamic boarding school live for 24 hours under the watch of the kiai. The issues raised in this article are: 1) How is the activity of the students in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang, 2) What are the character values developed in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang. This research is a qualitative descriptive research in which the researcher presents various data obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. From the research that has been done, the results show that: 1) students’ activity in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang can be classified in the form of routine and incidental activity, whereas 2) The character values developed in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang are religious, honest, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, spirit of nationalism, love of the homeland, appreciate achievement, communicative, love peace, love reading, caring environment, social care, responsibility. AbstrakArtikel ini ingin mengkaji tentang Nilai-nilai karakter dalam komunitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang. Pendidikan karakter menjadi isu yang sangat strategis dewasa ini. Hal tersebut bisa kita lihat dari banyaknya kasus dekadensi moral yang sudah masuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Mulai dari penganiayaan yang dilakukan siswa bahkan sampai pembunuhan. Tentu saja hal ini menyebabkan kegelisahan bagi kita semua. Dari itulah perlu kiranya untuk diungkap sebagai salah satu prototype model pendidikan nilai karakter yang dilakukan di pesantren sebagai lembaga indigenous yang telah terbukti menjadi garda terdepan dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter karena memang para santri bermukim selama 24 jam di bawah pantauan sang kiai.Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam artikel ini adalah : 1) Bagaimana aktifitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang, 2) Apakah nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mana peneliti menyajikan berbagai macam data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa: 1) Aktifitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang dapat diklasifikasikan berupa kegiatan rutin dan insidental, sedangkan 2) Nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang diantaranya berupa nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan atau nasionalisme, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, tanggung jawab.
