Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Starindo Sakti Award for 31 days. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a significant relationship between overburden stripping production and loss time. Because stripping of overburden is an activity that affects mining activities, the researcher is interested in analyzing every mining activity, especially in stripping the overburden layer at the mining front at PT. Starindo Sakti Award using a Kobelco SK-200 excavator. To determine whether or not the relationship between overburden stripping production and loss time is significant, the F test can be carried out. find out the deviation of the data. After conducting the F test, it turns out that the relationship between overburden stripping production and loss time is significant (very influential), as evidenced by the results Fhitung of 686 and Ftabel of 3.34 with a standard error of 5,8.

Abstract

Life Expectancy (UHH) is one indicator of the health status assessment of the population for government programs successful. Life Expectancy at birth is defined as the average estimated length of life of a person that can live from birth. Life Expectancy is affected by the environment, food availability, education, government policy, community’s economy, and so on. In this study, the factors model will be conducted, affects the community’s life expectancy for all Indonesia’s provinces that involve the percentage of household variable which has decent drinking water (AML), percentage of household variable that has decent housing (HL), percentage of household variable that has access to proper sanitation (ASL), percentage of poor residents (PM) variable, and years of schooling average (RLS) variable. The modeling results, three independent variables significantly affected towards life expectancy variable or clean water and sanitation (ASL) variable, poor people (PM) variable, and years of schooling average (RLS) variable. The model result showed that the coefficient determination score is 0,859 which is the independent variable able to explain the dependent variable which is 85,90%, meanwhile the rest is 14,10% which is explained by other variables, outside the model

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning independence by implementing Geogebra-assisted Moodle virtual learning. The method used is the experimental method with a one group pretest posttest research design. The research subjects were class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Serang City. The data collection technique uses independent learning by distributing questionnaires before and after product trials during limited trials and field trials. An increase in learning independence is known by using the n-gain test to obtain an average result of 0.6 with moderate criteria during the limited test and field test

Abstract

The background of this research is the low student activity that affects the low learning outcomes of class X SMA Bosowa Al-Azhar. One alternative to overcome learning problems that occur is to apply the advance organizer learning model. This advance organizer model is assisted by the preparation of a concept map. The purpose of preparing a concept map is for students to be able to show the relationship between the various components of concepts and ideas. Overall, learning using the advance organizer learning model using concept maps has an impact on increasing students' mathematics learning activities so that they can improve student learning outcomes. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research, which consists of four stages that form a cycle, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted in class X SMA Bosowa Al-Azhar, with 10 students. Based on the research that has been done, students' mathematics learning outcomes have increased. The average of the final tests in cycle I was 53,2, in cycle II was 71,4 and in cycle III was 81,1. The percentage of students who achieved KKM scores (Minimum Passing Criteria) in cycle I was 20%, in cycle II was 50% and in cycle III was 80%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) The advance organizer learning model using concept maps can increase student learning activities during the learning process. (2) The advance organizer learning model using concept maps can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

The background to this research problem begins with the results of observations where students are weak in performing arithmetic operations so students need a long time to perform simple calculations. Besides taking a long time, students are also weak in stacked calculations. For example in addition, where there are students who forget to put inserts, so the inserts are not added up which results in erroneous results. Students have difficulty solving questions with more than two numbers and students rely more on calculators or cell phones (hand phones) for calculating. Then the paradigm which states that mathematics is a complex subject makes students less interested in this lesson. To overcome this, it is necessary to update learning methods, including using the mathemagics. In this mathematics method calculations, are given in a simple and interesting way so that students are more motivated to learn mathematics and instill in students that mathematics is fun. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the learning outcomes of students who were taught with mathemagics were better than the learning outcomes of students who were taught without mathemagics. This research is experimental research with a randomized control group-only design. The research population was class VII junior high school students. The research sample was taken randomly after being tested for normality, homogeneity and average similarity. Data processing of the final test results is done through hypothesis testing using the t-test. After doing the calculation, it is obtained t count > t table (1.779 > 1.645). It was also seen from the average value of the two samples, the average value of the experimental class was 72.42 while the average value of the control class was 67.63. The standard deviation of the experimental class and control class is 11.215 and 11.034. This shows that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. This means that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who are taught with mathemagics are better than those who are taught without mathemagics

Abstract

This study aims to identify mathematical material that is considered difficult at the Junior High School level class VIII. This research used a descriptive method with interview techniques. Needs analysis was carried out to experts, namely senior teachers in 4 cities in Indonesia, namely Pekanbaru, Jakarta, Cirebon, and Yogyakarta. Based on the results of the needs analysis, it was found that there are at least three materials that are difficult for students to master, namely straight-line equations, building flat-side spaces, and opportunities. This is expected to provide inspiration and further research opportunities, namely research aimed at the development of learning tools, including learning methods, learning media, and learning evaluation tools, so that materials that are considered difficult can be resolved immediately and students can master them well

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of learning styles and learning independence on the mathematical problem-solving Ability of students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Majene. This study is an ex-post facto causal study with a sample of 78 students, namely 39 students of class XI MIPA 1 and 39 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Majene which were selected using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques used three instruments, namely: (1) learning style questionnaire, (2) learning independence questionnaire, (3) problem solving ability test. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis of the data show that: (1) Visual learning style is in good category, audiotorial learning style is in good category, kinesthetic learning style is in good category (2) Learning independence is in very high category (3) Mathematical problem-solving ability students are in the sufficient category. The results of hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression, namely: (1) learning style has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving ability, (2) learning independence has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, (3) learning styles and independence learning has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving ability

Abstract

The traffic is one of the problems that are often in big cities in Indonesia, where this also happened on Gatot Subroto Sei Sikambing street, Medan city. The traffic light is a tool that is made with the aim of being an assistant in regulating traffic so that it runs more orderly, but it has not been able to run optimally due to the determination of which traffic flow is green or red and also the duration of the traffic light. The solusition that can be given to solve this problem is to use a welch-powell algorithm. The welch-powell algorithm is doing coloring activity  by producing a chromatic number. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop E-Module teaching materials based on the CORE learning model to facilitate students' mathematical communication skills on social arithmetic subjcet. This study uses research and development methods with the ADDIE model. The results of the research were, the E-Module teaching materials based on the CORE learning model are feasible to use with a feasibility level of 91,67% coming from the media expert, 75.76% from the mathematics education expert test and 98.33% from the mathematician test. Student responses in the field test on the completeness aspect of the material were very complete (60%), attractive appearance (53.33%), good color combinations (53.33%), good language easily understood by junior high school students (53.33 %), illustrations can represent social Arithmetic material (63.33%), and E-Modules can help students learn independently (70%).

Abstract

Transportation is an activities that affect the smooth wheels of the economy. The core problem of transportation is to minimize distribution costs. Matters that affect distribution costs are in the form of demand quantities, supply quantities, and transportation costs. In 2021, the rice distribution costs of Perum Bulog Sub Divre Medan was very high accompanied by uncertain demand and supply so it is expressed in fuzzy numbers. It is necessary to use a method that can solve this transportation problem optimally. In this study, the improved exponential approach method was used to find the optimal solution in rice distribution and combined with fuzzy integer transportation to find the integer value of the parameters with fuzzy values. The improved exponential approach method is a method of solving balanced and unbalanced transportation problems directly. The results showed that the improved exponential approach method can be applied to solve the fuzzy transportation problem. The cost of distributing rice in 2021 using the improved exponential approach method has decreased by IDR 41,155,480 from the actual distribution cost. Through these results, it can be concluded that the improved exponential approach method can optimally solve the fuzzy transportation problem in 2021 at Bulog Sub-Divre Perum Medan
