Abstract

PT. Anugerah Starindo Sakti which focuses on mining, especially on desiccant mining, is located in Pamotan Village, Kalipucang District, Pangandaran Regency, West Java Province. Based on the overburden stripping production data at PT. Anugerah Starindo Sakti could not achieve the production target. After doing multiple linear regression analysis with the results 641,63=698,66-91,28X1-81,48X2 and assuming that when standby time and repair/breakdown time is worth 0, then the linear regression results are X2=-1,667X1+0,7with a maximum limit of 1.3 hours for standby time and repair/ breakdown time of 17.5 hours. Regression results that show a coefficient of determination of 0.98 and a correlation coefficient of 0.99 or which means the effect of loss time on the amount of production is 99%. Therefore, it is better to make improvements to the inhibiting factors (loss time), especially improvements to standby time and repair/breakdown time

Abstract

The Unemployment Rate is the main indicator to measure the unemployment in the labor force. The higher Unemployment Rate will have an impact on the decline in people's welfare. Based the results of SAKERNAS in February 2022, Banten Province's Unemployment Rate is the highest in Indonesia, besides that, since the Covid-19 pandemic, the Banten Province's Unemployment Rate has increased. There needs an effort to reduce the Unemployment Rate so that it can reduce the number of unemployed, one of which is by knowing the predicted value of the Unemployment Rate in the future. From the results of historical data analysis, it is known that the data pattern of the Banten Province's Unemployment Rate is seasonal, so the Triple Exponential Smoothing Method is suitable to be used because it can stabilize seasonal patterns. Forecasting is carried out to determine the Unemployment Rate in Banten Province in the next 7 periods, from Semester 2 of 2022 to Semester 2 of 2025. From the forecasting results, the MAPE value is 8.858859%, which is smaller than 10%, that  shows very accurate predictions. Furthermore, the results of this research  are expected to be used as consideration in determining strategies to reduce the Banten Province's Unemployment Rate

Abstract

Health is a human right that is one of the indicators of welfare that must felt by all people following the ideals of the Indonesian people to realize a high degree of health. The high level of public health is one of the base capital for realization of the implementation of national development. One indicator of policy target evaluation in the health sector is the availability of adequate public health facilities and services. In addition, the level of the number of people suffering from disease complaints needs to be the attention of the government and the community to become the material for evaluating policy targets in the health sector. Based on data on the percentage of the population who have health complaints in 2020 obtained from the BPS of the Republic of Indonesia, East Java Province is ranked 7th, which is 32.8%. While the data in 2021 East Java Province is ranked 8th at 28.55%. This figure is quite high compared to other provinces so the East Java Provincial government needs to pay attention to reducing cases of disease complaints. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and map regencies and cities in East Java Province based on the distribution of the characteristics of the number of disease cases in each regency and city using the Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering method. Based on the value of the cophenetic correlation coefficient, the average linkage method is the best method with the optimal number of clusters formed 4 clusters based on the cluster validation test using the connectivity validity index test, Dunn index, and silhouette. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the government of East Java Province in taking policies to improve national development planning in the health sector to increase the high level of public health

Abstract

Production planning is a very important activity for companies in considering production factors ranging from the number of products that must be produced, when the product must be completed, and other things needed. Improper production planning risks causing losses to the company because the use of production costs and profit estimates are not optimized. One method that can be used in optimizing production planning is the fuzzy goal programming method. Fuzzy goal programming is an extension of linear programming that can solve problems of more than one goal in the presence of target constraints. This study aims to examine and apply the fuzzy goal programming method which is solved by the simplex method in Ayune Kitchen production planning by maximizing revenue and minimizing raw material costs. The data used in this study include product data (comb bread, dulce, brulee, mentai, lasagna, and briyani rice), production prices, and raw materials for making products from Ayune Kitchen which will be analyzed using linear programming and fuzzy goal programming methods. simplex. The result of this research is the optimal income that will be obtained by Ayune Kitchen is Rp. 8.830.000 and the optimal expenditure incurred by Ayune Kitchen to purchase raw materials is Rp. 6.687.821

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of ability to understand mathematical concepts of students of class VIII MTs At-Taqwa on circle material. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of the study were students of class VIII-2 MTs At-Taqwa Bekasi totaling 26 people and one class VIII mathematics teacher. From the research subjects will be selected using purposive sampling techniques. Furthermore, the ability to understand mathematical concepts will be analyzed according to the test results and interview results of the selected 3 students. From each of the students who have been selected represent the high, medium and low group categories. The results showed that the level of understanding of mathematical concepts in the high group category was 4 people or 16%, the level of understanding of mathematical concepts in the medium category was 16 people or 64%, and the level of understanding of mathematical concepts in the low category was 5 people or 20%. While the achievement of indicators is different for each indicator, namely the percentage for each indicator is as follows: only 90.6% of students are able to meet the indicators of re-state the concept, 32.3% of students who are able to meet classifying indicators / grouping objects according to certain traits according to their concept, 14.5% of students who are able to meet the indicators develop the concepts that have been owned, and 11.5% of students who are able to meet the indicators  use and utilize and select specific procedures or operations and apply them to troubleshooting

Abstract

Food commodities such as shallots and garlic are still a concern for the Indonesian people, this is because prices are not fixed and fluctuate for each period. It is these price fluctuations that cause high price volatility. An illustration of the magnitude of the risks that will be faced by economic actors in the future can be illustrated by the magnitude of price changes that indicate market fluctuations in a period of time. The model that can be used to analyze the nature of price volatility is Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) and Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH). The purpose of this study was to determine the price volatility of shallots and garlic in West Java Province for the period January 2013 to December 2021. The results showed that retail prices for garlic were heteroscedastic, so the model that was more suitable was ARCH/GARCH. As for the commodity of shallots that are homoscedastic, the model that is carried out is only up to the ARIMA model analysis. The volatility model for garlic is the ARCH(1) model. The results of the model estimation show that garlic price volatility is quite high

Abstract

Tile is one of the most important building materials. Tile has the main function as a roof covering. Tile is more often used in the construction of houses. The tile protects the occupants of the house from the hot sun and rain. Selection of the right tile needs to be considered for the comfort of the occupants of the house. In this study, the determining factors in the selection of roof tiles are price, product quality, and product availability. The types of tiles used in this research are ceramic tiles, clay tiles, Alderon tiles, asbestos tiles, zinc tiles, and metal roof tiles. The method used in this study is the multidimensional scaling method. The multidimensional scaling method is one of the multivariate analysis methods used to determine the similarity value based on the proximity seen on the perceptual map. Based on the calculation results, it is determined that the types of tiles that have similarities are ceramic tiles and Alderon tiles with a distance value of 0.2062. Furthermore, the best roof tiles based on respondents' perceptions are Asbestos tiles because the variables of product quality and product availability have advantages

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning discipline and critical thinking on mathematical reasoning abilities. This research was conducted on eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Tambun Selatan, Bekasi Regency with a random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study was done by giving a questionnaire for the two independent variables and giving essay questions for the dependent variable. The research method used in this study is a survey with correlational techniques. The sample in this study was 68 students of class VIII. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between learning discipline and critical thinking with mathematical reasoning abilities. This is indicated by Ftable = 3.14 and Fcount 8.57, so Fcount > Ftable (8.57 > 3.14). Thus, it can be concluded that learning discipline and critical thinking have an influence on mathematical reasoning abilities

Abstract

Education is  foundation in building the nation and state, besides that education is a right for all citizens. Educational achievements in Indonesia can be seen from the achievement of educational graduation rates for all levels of education from elementary to high school. The government needs to pay more attention to education in Indonesia, so there needs to be a grouping of provinces according to similar characteristics, so that the government can focus more on preparing programs and activities to improve the quality of education. The right method for grouping provinces is the best method from the results of cluster analysis by comparing the centroid and ward methods as seen from the value of the cophenetic correlation coefficient. Based on the research, the best method was obtained, namely the centroid method with cluster profiling: cluster 1 is a cluster with a moderate level of completion of education consisting of 31 provinces, cluster 2 with a level of completion of higher education consists of 2 provinces, and cluster 3 with a low level of completion of education consists of  1 province

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of mathematical reasoning in solving story problems for students of the Language and Social Studies specialization program. The approach in this study is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study are students who have high mathematical abilities in the Language and Social Studies specialization program in Class XI SMA Negeri 7 Malang. The data collection techniques used are tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through 3 stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, the following findings were obtained. In the sensemaking process, learners are equally inclined to represent visual and symbolic forms. In the conjectturing process, language subjects have linguistic intelligence, while social studies subjects have intrapersonal intelligence. In  the convincing process, the subject of Language corresponds to a predetermined settlement strategy but there are errors in the calculation process and tend to use the right brain. While the subject of IPS corresponds to a predetermined settlement strategy and is not written down the process of calculating it but the results are correct and tend to use the right brain. In  the reflecting process, the Language subject reevaluates the completion result but is less sure, while the IPS subject reevaluates the completion result and is confident so that the completion result is correct. In the process  of generalising,  the subject of Language generalizes conclusions using words but incorrectly. Meanwhile, the subject of IPS generalizes conclusions correctly and uses words in writing down the conclusions of the answers. Based on the results of the study, language subjects are known to have poor mathematical reasoning skills, which can perform all indicators but there are errors in the stages of the indicators. Meanwhile, IPS subjects have good mathematical reasoning abilities by fulfilling all stages and indicators of mathematical reasoning ability
