Abstract

This study aims to respond to the dynamic and fast-paced educational needs of the digital era in the 21st century by developing a curriculum for Islamic Religious Education (IRE) that integrates essential competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. The methodology employed is an in-depth literature review, combining various prior research sources to formulate a holistic approach to curriculum development that is both applicable and relevant. Key findings from this study indicate that integrating technology into IRE significantly enhances student interest and motivation, while also facilitating the development of critical 21st-century skills. Additionally, the study reveals that innovative curriculum implementation requires effective collaboration between educators, educational institutions, and policymakers. This research also emphasizes the importance of adapting the curriculum to local values and the Indonesian culture to ensure relevance and acceptance in a broader social context. Recommendations include the need for intensive training for educators, robust infrastructure support, and an ongoing process of evaluation and revision of the curriculum to maintain its relevance and effectiveness.

Abstract

This research is qualitative type with literature method. Information is collected through relevant references to be analyzed such as collecting information by recognizing discourse from various references such as books, papers or posts, journals, internet (websites) or other information in the form of data, magazines and so on related to the principal's strategy and supervision in improving teacher performance. Educational supervision plays an important role in providing guidance and support to teachers to develop effective learning strategies by utilizing information technology and evaluating the quality of learning. Principals have a strategic role by providing motivation, increasing teacher capacity, implementing supervision, and optimizing information technology in learning management. Good teacher performance is determined by the ability to master academic competencies, learning methods, work discipline, commitment to improving student achievement. Cooperation between principals, teachers and all school elements is very important to carry out supervision and education management to improve the quality of learning in a sustainable manner and in accordance with the times. The implementation of these strategies is expected to maximize the role of each element to improve the quality of learning processes and outcomes. This discussion is expected to provide an overview of the efforts made to improve the quality of learning through educational supervision, the role of the principal, and improving teacher performance.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of systems thinking as a strategic method for governance and institutional oversight within Islamic higher education, specifically at Islamic Universiy of  Al-Kifayah Riau.  As educational institutions encounter growing complexity, systems thinking offers a comprehensive and adaptive framework for planning, development, and performance assessment.  This research used a qualitative case study technique to examine how Islamic Universiy of  Al-Kifayah incorporates systemic mechanisms into its governance structures, decision-making processes, and resource optimization.  Data were gathered by comprehensive interviews, document examination, and participant observation.  The findings indicate that the institution's leadership utilizes a feedback-driven methodology, connects strategic objectives with the institutional mission, and integrates several subsystems (academic, administrative, spiritual) to improve overall performance.  Notwithstanding difficulties in consistency and system alignment, the study illustrates the potential of systems thinking to facilitate adaptive governance and suIslamic Universiy of ned institutional development in Islamic education contexts.  The study enhances the conversation on educational reform by presenting a model for systematically administered Islamic institutions that integrates traditional values with modern management practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pola pembinaan disiplin siswa berbasis restorative justice (RJ) di SMP IT Al-Ghofar, Cimenyan, Bandung. RJ muncul sebagai paradigma alternatif terhadap disiplin retributif yang berorientasi pada pemulihan relasi dan tanggung jawab aktif. Fokus penelitian mencakup mekanisme, aktor, faktor pendukung-penghambat, dan dampak implementasinya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Wali Kelas, dan siswa, dilengkapi observasi dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman berbantuan perangkat lunak NVivo. Hasil menunjukkan RJ diimplementasikan secara bertingkat: nasihat, peringatan, pemanggilan orang tua, hingga mediasi multipihak. Aktor kunci meliputi wali kelas sebagai penanganan awal, wakil kesiswaan sebagai koordinator, dan kepala sekolah sebagai pengambil keputusan final. Komitmen kepemimpinan dan nilai-nilai Islam menjadi faktor pendukung utama, sementara ketiadaan guru BK dan komunikasi terbatas dengan orang tua menjadi hambatan terbesar. Dampak RJ terlihat pada meningkatnya kenyamanan siswa, kepercayaan orang tua, dan iklim sekolah yang kondusif. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya penguatan sumber daya manusia dan sistem dokumentasi agar model pembinaan berbasis nilai lokal-keislaman ini dapat direplikasi secara lebih optimal di sekolah Islam lain.
