<![CDATA[SARA conflict adorns the life of the Indonesian people in recent years. The tendency of each community group to emphasize their respective identities, both cultural and religious identity. The phenomenon of mastering public space by certain religious identities was found in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, precisely in the village of Sengkan, Desa Condongcatur, Sleman. In this village, the names of the streets were found with the nuances of city names written in the Bible. In conducting this study, the author examines how the impact of the emergence of certain religious identities in public space, as well as how the role of community leaders in creating consensus in the public space. This paper was analyzed using discourse theory and consensus of Jürgen Habermas. The concept of Habermas's public space is a space for critical discussion and is open to everyone. What discourse theory wants to show is not the purpose of society, but only the way or procedure to achieve the goal. Rationality is the method used in accepting consensus. As for the impact of the emergence of certain religious identities in the public sphere, namely protests from some minority (Muslim) communities that gave rise to conflict which resulted in residents asking to replace street names with more general names, without any tendency of any religious identity. In addition, the difficulties of Muslims in establishing places of worship and inconvenience of minorities towards their environment. The role of community leaders in creating consensus in the public sphere, namely community leaders who are there have a dual function, so that they can facilitate the purpose of naming the road and reducing community protests so that consensus is premature or fails because there is no awareness of accepting all citizens]]>

<![CDATA[Pluralism is a modern study in theological discourse. Many followers of the world religions focus on this discussion, especially Muslims and Christians. The discourse offered by both Islam and Christianity in terms of pluralism contains the same value. Pluralism according to Islam originating from the Qur'an is a necessity. al-Qur'an stated that humans were created from a pair of men and women who in their development became diverse tribes and nations. The Sunnatullah is proof that Allah made humans as plural beings. While Christianity, which is represented by the Bible and cosmetics, believes that pluralism is reflected in the body of one with many members. Pluralists are not regarded as a barrier to unity, but are seen as something that enriches and complements each other. Through descriptive analytical and comparative methods it was found that both Islam and Christianity had a spirit of pluralism.]]>

<![CDATA[This article attempts to explore one perspective of the knowledge of the Qur'an and interpretation. Muhammad Shahrur ad-Dayyub, a linguist with civil engineering background, offers a new approach to understanding the Qur'an. Syahrur's concept about Qur'an which published in "Al-Kitab wa al-Qur'an: Qira'ah Mu’ashirah" has been offered as the most ideal contemporary reading method in accordance with the present social dynamics. In this case, Shahrur wanted the Qur'an to be placed in a position as if it had just been revealed. The offer has been deconstructed as well as the scientific reconstruction of the Qur'an and interpretations that have been "considered" to be accepted. Some view Syahur concept as novelty that needs to be positively appreciated in the creative discourse of reading religious texts. But not a few also respond to his thoughts with criticism and even blasphemy.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the bad habits that has developed in the community for a long time until now is talking dirty, rude, which contains utterances of hatred or the term now known as hate speech. This is due to a lack of public understanding of Islamic communication ethics that is manifested in quranic speech acts. Our Prophet Muhammad SAW said that one of the characteristics of a believer is someone who says good or just keep silent. Hamka in his interpretation gave the concept of theology of speech. Therefore, in this study, it is important to know the theology of love that God loves and hates according to Hamka. There are two things to be studied, First, what are the words that are loved by God? Second, what are some words that God hates? The method used in this study is qualitative, the type of library research, and the approach used is normative and sociological theology. While the data collection techniques used are horticulture with descriptive data analysis techniques. The purpose of this study is to find out what words are loved and hated by Allah according to Hamka. Given the culture of saying dirty and rough in Indonesia needs great attention, given that if these traits are left unchecked, it will become a disease rooted in the general public environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Mernissi has tried to dismantle the building of interpretations of classical scholars, She tried to dismantle injustice feminism through criticism of the hadith about women's leadership, which according to her must be examined again in terms of asbab al-nuzul and historically why hadith or verse came down. As a sociologist, Mernissi did not only approach textual texts in conducting her studies. However, religious texts must be studied from a historical-sociological approach. This is to find the significance of meaning, if it is related to the conditions of the times and places. The hermeneutic approach, used by Mernissi, is to criticize the verses of the Qur'an and misogyny hadiths. She reveals the historical background to the following hadiths had misogyny about the quality of the narrators to find the true meaning of the text. Related to women being head of state according to Mernissi in essence, and what is a problem according to Mernissi is not the problem of men and women but how they are able to become leaders themselves.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of the world is accompanied by the reality of various religions, languages, and cultures. Various conflicts that arise in the world actually arise from the lack of understanding of this diversity which even appears in the form of violence in the name of religion. In the confusion caused by conflict about diversity, pluralism was born as a solution.. But of course, because pluralism comes from outside Islam, it is necessary to do an in-depth study of whether this flow is in line with the spirit of Islam or vice versa. The results of the study on this matter are that Islam accepts pluralism. Some points to be argued in this case are the equality of divine religions in tauhid uluhiyah faith, Islam teaches tolerance both among religious people and among religious believers, and even Islam teaches the teachings of brotherhood not only in the form of ukhuwwah Islamiyah but also in ukhuwwah insaniyyah. Even so, Islam does not accept pluralism in the concept of John Hick who believes that all religions are true and leads to salvation, because what is meant by Islam with pluralism is a peaceful social life between humans with different religious understanding. Theological differences are indeed undeniable in their existence in religious life. But Islam is a religion that is best prepared to interact with other religions in social matters, both in concept and in application.]]>
