Abstract

The high rates of early marriage and divorce in Gresik Regency reflect the low awareness among adolescents regarding the importance of education and readiness for family life, which negatively impacts the quality of the younger generation, particularly Generation Z. This study aims to analyze strategies for preventing early marriage at MA Billingual Entrepreneurship Robithotul Ashfiya through educational and socialization approaches, as well as by strengthening students’ entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy. The research employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, actively involving teachers, students, and parents in problem identification, interactive seminars, group discussions, and understanding evaluation. The findings indicate that counseling activities and skill reinforcement significantly increased students’ awareness of the risks associated with early marriage and the importance of continuing education. The implication is that madrasahs can play a strategic role as agents of change in shaping an empowered and competitive young generation, prepared to face future challenges by delaying marriage until reaching a mature age.

Abstract

The Javanese Language and Literature Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Surabaya contributes to the Kampus Merdeka humanitarian project, which aims to preserve and promote Javanese culture to the younger migrant workers by utilizing engaging and relevant educational media. This activity aims to strengthen their identity as descendants of Indonesians, particularly through the Javanese language. In the pitepangan (greetings) lesson, students were encouraged to learn how to introduce themselves in Javanese. In the tembang dolanan (traditional children's songs) session, they were taught to sing three traditional songs: Menthok-Menthok, Lesung Jumenglung, and Gundhul-Gundhul Pacul. The learning activities used the Empowerment-Based Collaboration (EBC) method, emphasizing active collaboration among all involved parties. The steps of the method included initial observation, demonstration, discussion, practice, and documentation. The activity results showed a 75% increase in students' ability to introduce themselves in Javanese, and 82% of the students were able to sing tembang dolanan in Javanese. Overall, the understanding of local culture increased by 78%, accompanied by high enthusiasm throughout the learning process. Through the use of pitepangan and tembang dolanan as educational media, the learning model became more varied, enabling students to absorb the material more effectively.

Abstract

Community analysis shows that Al-Muhtadin Pharmacy Vocational School, Bekasi students are interested in making pharmaceutical products from natural ingredients. However, their desires are often hampered by the lack of knowledge regarding manufacturing pharmaceutical preparations from natural ingredients. Therefore, the solution is to hold training in hand sanitizers with natural ingredients from essential oils of lime and sweet orange peels. This Community Service activity (CSA) aims to provide training in making and testing hand sanitizers for Al-Muhtadin Pharmacy Vocational School students in Bekasi. The CSA participants numbered 62 students of Al-Muhtadin Pharmacy Vocational School, Bekasi. The activity methods include providing material on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) and making hand sanitizers, training in making and testing hand sanitizer products, and evaluation in the form of concept tests (pre-test and post-test) and skills tests. The paired t-test results showed that the calculated t-value was smaller than the t-table (-4.952 <-2.013), or there was a significant difference in the average value of knowledge about CHLB and making hand sanitizers between before and after being given the material. In contrast, the practical exam showed the average percentage value of participants' skills in making hand sanitizers of 90.57%, while the efficacy testing skills were 93.44%. Testing of the antibacterial efficacy of hand sanitizer products by respondents showed that they were able to inhibit and kill bacteria on the hands. This CSA concludes that all participants have learned the concept and skills regarding manufacturing and testing hand sanitizers from a combination of lime and sweet orange peel essential oils.

Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance the digital promotion of Kampung KEREN Sumber Banteng, Kediri, a high-potential tourism village with low digital visibility. Key challenges include unintegrated digital channels, a lack of structured storytelling, big77 and limited capacity in content management. The program implements a community-based digital branding ecosystem by integrating platforms like Instagram, Website, Google Maps, WhatsApp Business, and Linktree. Using a participatory approach, local tourism actors (Pokdarwis and UMKM) were involved in planning, training, and implementation. Based on the visitor journey and local storytelling, the project led to improved digital presence, enhanced content creation skills, and the emergence of user-generated content (UGC). This initiative offers a replicable model for digital branding in tourism villages and highlights digital marketing's role in empowering local communities.
