Abstract

In Indonesia, the pillar of economic development through MSMEs based on labor absorption plays a critical role in addressing employment issues. Where two dependent variables, specifically employment and unemployment, are present. Five independent variables are included in this analysis: investment, GDP, minimum wage, population, and the number of MSMEs. This study uses secondary data or time series for the years 2005–2019. This study's data analysis method is Simultaneous Regression. In contrast, the number of MSMEs has a positive and significant impact on employment, whereas the GDP has a negative and major impact on employment. It is necessary to determine the effect on unemployment

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the magnitude of the influence of Brand Image, Price and Product Quality on Consumer Purchase Decisions on OPPO Smartphones, especially Students / I SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Research Range the author uses descriptive quantitative methods and tends to use theoretical basis analysis as a support that is formed to clarify a data. And data collection techniques using questionnaires, literature studies and interviews, while data analysis techniques use methods (validity test, reliability test), analysis test (descriptive test, classical assumption test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test), hypothesis test (multiple linear test, F test, T test, determination test).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of job promotion and job stress on employee performance at PT Mega Lestari Pratama Medan. This research uses associative quantitative data analysis method, multiple regression analysis with t-test (partial test), F test (simultaneous test) and coefficient of determination test (R2). The test equipment of this research used multiple linear regression model. The results of the research simultaneously prove that job promotion and job stress affect employee performance. The results of the research partially prove that promotion has an effect on employee performance with a dominant influence. The results of the partial test also prove that work stress has an effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Financial literacy is an issue that is still hotly discussed today. This is because skills in finance can lead a person to financial prosperity. The world of higher education contributes to the improvement of financial literacy, and this study wants to see how the factors of gender, age, parents' income and spending in college affect the financial literacy of students. This research was conducted on 498 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business using the accidental sampling method. Financial literacy was analyzed by descriptive analysis, and factor analysis was carried out by using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of this study indicate that the factors of age, gender and parental income have a significant effect on student financial literacy, while the learning factor in college does not significantly affect student financial literacy.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence and analyze of profitability and liquidity on working capital partially and simultaneously. The population of this research was 35 hotel, restaurant, and tourism companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2017-2019 and samples of 12 companies by using purposive sampling technique. The data were processed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research showed that first, profitability had influence positive and significant on working capital. Secondly showed that liquidity had influence positive and insignificant on working capital. Thirdly showed that profitability and liquidity influence significant on working capital simultaneously

Abstract

Thus employee performance increase is absolutely necessary as well as the the ability of the organization to control the employee’s stress level,discipline and the promotion of position in the organization as well in order to fulfill the achievement of performance objectives optimally so that the company can survive and win the competition. This research aims to know and analyse the influence of work stress, discipline and job promotion on the performance of employees at Capella Multidana Company Medan. With the Simple Random Sampling technique and using the Slovin formula with 5% percentage of looseness (e), then obtained samples in this study a number of 104 employees who are the status of permanent officers. Data is collected through questionnaire, interviews and documentation studies. The poll is calculated by the measurement unit of Likert scale, and processed using SPSS (statistical product and service solution) program. The results showed that simultaneously, work stress, discipline and job promotion were positively and significantly impacted by the employee  performance. Partially, discipline and job promotion were positively and significantly impacted the employee  performance but work stress were negatively impacted  the employee performance of Capella Multidana Company Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. BPJS Employment at Binjai Branch. To find out and analyze the influence of communication on the performance of employees of PT. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan at Binjai Branch. To find out and analyze the effect of work discipline and communication on the performance of employees of PT. BPJS Employment at Binjai Branch. From the above discussion, it can be concluded in this study are as follows: From the results of this study, the value of the discipline's significance based on the t test was obtained at 0.000 (Sig 0.000 <?0.05). thus Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion: there is a significant effect of discipline on performance. From the results of this study, it was found that the communication significance value based on the t test was obtained at 0.000 (Sig 0.002 <?0.05). thus Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the influence of organizational culture, job satisfaction and leadership style on employee performance at SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan Susu. This study uses a quantitative associative approach with data collection techniques through literature study and questionnaires. The population and research sample were all staff and teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan Susu totaling 30 employees. This research uses validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing using the SPSS program. The results showed that: (1) partially organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan Susu; (2) partially job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan Susu; (3) partially the leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan Susu; (4) simultaneously organizational culture, job satisfaction and leadership style have a significant effect on the performance of employees of SMP Negeri 2 Pangkalan Susu.

Abstract

Teacher performance is the result achieved by a teacher in carrying out the tasks and responsibilities that have been assigned to him. One of High performance teacher is shown by professionalism of teacher which consist of four competencies including professional Competence, Pedagogic Competence, Personality and social Competence. Pedagogic Competence is one of type competence that absolutely needs to be mastered for teacher. This study was conducted to examine the role of extrinsic. Motivation on the effects of leadership and supervision on teacher performance in the Muhammadiyah School of Binjai. The population of this study was 125 people with a total sample of  98 respondents and the data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire with distribution method and processed by the SEM-PLS data processor 3. Results of the study indicate that Extrinsic Leadership and Motivation Significantly Determined Performance, Oversight has a significant effect on Extrinsic Motivation. Leadership Has No Significant Effect on Extrinsic Motivation. Supervision does not determine Significance on Performance. Leadership on Performance through Extrinsic Motivation has no significant effect and Supervision on Performance through Extrinsic Motivation has a significant effect

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of communication and work environment on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable at PT. Regional Post-I Medan. The research sample was all employees at PT. Regional Post I Medan, amounting to 84 people. The partial test results that communication has no significant effect on motivation and the work environment has a significant effect on motivation. The second equation shows that communication has no and insignificant effect on employee performance, the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance and motivation has no and insignificant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneous testing for the first equation is communication and work environment which have a significant effect on motivation. The second equation proves that communication, work environment and motivation have a significant effect on employee performance. The test using path analysis proves that motivation cannot be a variable that mediates between communication variables on employee performance and motivation cannot be a variable that mediates between work environment variables on employee performance.
