Abstract

Hanna Hersop Course and Training Institute (LKP) is a non-formal educational institution that offers learning materials both offline and online. The obstacles faced by the institution during the implementation of the exam are still not optimal because they are still carried out using conventional methods, such as the use of paper and pencils, which causes the risk of cheating and security during the exam. So this study aims to implement an exam system on a virtual machine with an integrated security application using the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) with the Windows Server 2019 operating system as a server and client for the implementation of the exam test. The main objectives include security settings on the Windows Server OS in the virtual machine, login key encryption with the Rijndael algorithm, and creating an application to generate login keys. The development technique chosen is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The online exam application was developed using Microsoft ASP.NET Core for the time server, while the exam website uses PHP and JavaScript. The desktop application of the security system with RDP was created using the C# programming language. This system includes setting the exam time synchronized with the time server via the HTTP protocol, as well as restricting access to the exam website only in the virtual machine and limiting keyboard functionality during the exam. The results of the study show that the implementation of online exams on a virtual machine with an RDP security system can create a safe exam environment. This includes preventing cheating through restricting access to applications and the web, encrypting login keys to maintain confidentiality of information, and limiting keyboard functionality. This implementation also creates a better exam implementation structure with exam time synchronization, and a high level of user satisfaction. Respondents on the Likert scale showed satisfaction with the ease of use of the online exam security application implemented at LKP Hanna Hersop.

Abstract

The availability of safe, clean water is fundamental to human health and well-being, but a growing issue is that natural water sources are increasingly contaminated by various pollutants, especially in mining areas. The water source in the mine comes from rainwater and is collected in a lake used for mining activities, so the water conditions tend to be murky and contain many hazardous chemicals. World Health Organization (WHO) and the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number 2 of 2023 state that clean water that is suitable for MCK is water that is not cloudy, colorless, temperature between 15 - 35 °C, free of chemicals or with a pH between 6.5 - 9, and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) water no more than 1000 ppm. The purpose of this research is to provide water quality monitoring at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in the coal mining area based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT product created, namely the water quality monitoring system, has several main advantages. This system can monitor water pH, water TDS, water temperature, and water turbidity, and display data in real-time on the monitoring website. On the website, sensor data is displayed in the form of charts, allowing users to monitor significant changes in data. In addition, there is an export feature to excel that makes it easier for WTP technicians to make reports. The tool testing technique is carried out using 15 water samples, the result is that the pH sensor has an accuracy rate of 97.93%, the TDS sensor has an accuracy rate of 99%, the temperature sensor has an accuracy rate of 98.58%, and the turbidity sensor shows a value that matches the water sample used. The results of this study indicate that the IoT system created is effective in monitoring important parameters such as pH, TDS, temperature, and turbidity of water in real-time, which can improve operational efficiency at the WTP and assist technicians in monitoring the WTP which was previously done manually.

Abstract

JKN Mobile application has become one of the main means for Indonesians to access health services provided by the National Health Insurance (JKN) program. In this context, sentiment analysis of user reviews of the JKN Mobile application is important to understand user perceptions and experiences. This research uses the SVM classification method to carry out in-depth sentiment analysis of user reviews of the JKN Mobile application. Research steps include collecting user review data, data preprocessing, feature extraction, data sharing, SVM model training, and model performance evaluation. User review data is collected and processed, then trained using an SVM model to classify review sentiment into positive, negative, or neutral. This research tested the level of accuracy by comparing the distribution of training data with testing data. The aim of this method is to explore various optimization techniques to increase the accuracy of the SVM model in classifying the sentiment of user reviews of the JKN Mobile application. This can include using optimization algorithms such as Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to find the best parameters for the SVM model. The research results show that the SVM accuracy level after implementing PSO or Grid Search experienced an increase in accuracy, initially the SVM accuracy level was 81%, after optimization, the accuracy level obtained a higher accuracy of 85%.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country that has a tropical climate. This country is also famous for its wealth in various natural resources, one of which is water. Water is a source of human needs which is important for survival and is used for daily needs such as consumption, bathing, washing and others. As a society, of course you have to pay attention to the quality in the use of water, for this reason the government provides PDAM (Regional Drinking Water Company). In using PDAM facilities, especially in the South Sulawesi area, Mamuju Regency, it is necessary to monitor the amount of usage every month. The meter display is still analog and the amount of tariff or bill that must be paid by the public is not yet listed. The amount of bills that must be paid is the result of recording by PDAM officers who come every month. With this, tools are needed to monitor usage and the amount of bills that will be paid by the Internet of Things (IoT) based community. With this IoT-based control tool, people can see the amount of water used and the tariff they have to pay each month.

Abstract

Respiratory Tract Infection is a condition that triggers inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, such as the nose, throat, sinuses, and airways leading to the lungs. Symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, sneezing, and fever appear. Because the symptoms are often similar to other diseases, people with respiratory infections are often unaware of their condition. For this reason, a system that can diagnose respiratory infection symptoms quickly and accurately is needed. By integrating biology and artificial intelligence (AI), a biotechnology expert system for respiratory tract infections was developed. The Certainty Factor method is used to assess the level of confidence in a symptom based on the beliefs of an expert. The system is designed for the general public to receive examination results in the form of percentages, which help identify whether the symptoms experienced fall into the category of sinusitis, pneumonia, pharyngitis, or asthma. The doctor's question feature as a development of the previous system, allows users to consult with doctors about the symptoms experienced. The test results that have been carried out show that the results are in accordance with manual calculations. In addition, the system accuracy test resulted in an accuracy value of 80%.

Abstract

This research aims to assess impacts of information system services on student satisfaction to prevent dissatisfaction with campus information services. Students become active members of the academic community at higher education, are the center point of this investigation. Because the measurement of student satisfaction level on information services at the Faculty of Engineering is still unknown. By measuring student satisfaction, the faculty can improve the quality of service information system. The importance of campus information system services cannot be overstated because it serves as the main center for information management in higher education. in higher education. By using the Naïve Bayes Algorithm for the method used in this research utilizes simplicity and ease of application. its application. Data was collected through a questionnaire technique filled out by students of faculty of Engineering. The questionnaire contains about the quality of information systems and information service quality. A total of 316 student datasets were collected from 3 study programs in the Faculty of Engineering namely informatics, electrical engineering, and information technology study programs. Testing using naïve Bayes algorithm accuracy value of 94%, precision of 92% recall of 95%, and f1-score of 93%. It is hoped that this research can play an important role in improving the existing information system services to increase effectiveness. information system services to increase effectiveness.

Abstract

This study developed a vehicle counting system based on vehicle types using the YOLO algorithm in real-time. With the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, particularly in computer vision, outdoor media has also advanced through the computation of CCTV image results installed on such media. The significance of this research is found in its ability to provide accurate and real-time traffic data that can be utilized by local governments, traffic management companies, property developers, and advertising companies for traffic planning, security, and marketing analysis. The research method involved training the YOLOv9 model and centroid-based tracking on a dataset that included four vehicle classes: car, motorcycle, bus, and truck. The results showed that the developed system could detect and track vehicles with high accuracy, achieving a mAP of 0.9, precision of 0.909, recall of 0.828, and an F1-Score of 0.867. However, the system's performance heavily depends on the hardware specifications used, and the detection for motorcycles has lower evaluation scores compared to other vehicle types. This study indicates that improving hardware specifications and optimizing the model can enhance system performance. These findings are important as they reveal the considerable potential of using the YOLO algorithm in real-time traffic monitoring applications.

Abstract

The increase in child abduction cases in Indonesia highlights the need for a better understanding of the dangers of abduction among teenagers, especially abduction in online games. This occurs due to parents' lack of awareness of their children's gaming activities and also because children often seek social interaction through online games. Therefore, an educational approach is needed that involves teenagers and parents in understanding and preventing child abduction cases. The purpose of this research is to develop educational media through games using finite state machines (FSM) and forward chaining. FSM is used for the control system on the player, while forward chaining is used for the puzzle and puzzle system in making decisions based on information taken by the player. The research method uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which includes determining the application concept, 3-dimensional object design, material collection, application development, application testing, and application publishing. The results of the white box trial ran well, and the validation test was carried out on 30 respondents, with 83.8% stating that this game deserves to be an alternative learning media in self-defense from the crime of kidnapping teenagers.

Abstract

Elearning is a very vital tool in learning today. To provide optimal service, elearning servers require quite large computing resources when a large number of users access them simultaneously. However, expensive computing resources such as CPU, memory and disk storage make it difficult for organizations to meet the needs of large users. Previous research compared the performance of two public clouds on a moodle-based learning management system. The results showed that backup and restore times increased by about 10 seconds for every additional 500 MB of data size. This research aims to apply Kubernetes-based horizontal pod autoscaler and Redis cluster on the Moodle elearning server. Moodle is used to run elearning and Redis as database memory which can improve website performance. Horizontal implementation of pod autoscaler and Redis cluster was able to increase the performance of the Moodle e-learning website by 4.3% compared to a monolithic approach. Research shows that implementing Kubernetes and Redis clusters can improve the performance of Moodle e-learning websites. This research also shows that the microservice approach has better performance compared to the monolithic approach..

Abstract

The problems that occur at PT Accentuates as a research site are the difficulty of performance evaluation in choosing the best promoter, the data processing procedure is still manual, the selection results are less accurate, and the assessment becomes less objective. So the research proposed using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method to determine the best promoter. With observations, interviews and literature studies, and using two calculations, namely manually and applications for accurate data. Based on the research, SPK (Decision Support System) with AHP Method can help the process of selecting the best promoter, the weighting of each criterion, more accurate and precise, brings a high level of transparency, reduces subjective bias and increases objectivity. Web-based SPK application system is the result of this research can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The research results ranked the top 3 values for the June 2023 period, namely Yogi Firdaus = (0.4222), Yosep T.A = (0.2182), Nova S.W = (0.1691). SPK with AHP Method can help Admin and Head of Division at PT Accentuates in choosing the best promoter by providing a printed report of ranking results.
