Abstract

Safety education in schools is usually taught conventionally by teachers, but this learning method is currently not appropriate to students' development and interests. The improvement of learning media with recreations is an elective to today's learning for understudies since they can learn utilizing a ubiquitous demonstrate (learning anyplace) without time and put imperatives. Game development research uses the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method with a game based learning approach. The test results for this game use an alpha testing and beta testing approach, where there are no errors or obstacles in the game. The results of this research produced a game with the title "Discover Hazard In The Workplace". Students can learn in a fun, interesting and actively motivated way so that it is easier to understand the content presented in risk management in occupational health and safety (K3) learning.

Abstract

In this digital era, Instagram is not only the most popular photo and story sharing platform, but also acts as a source of important and critical information such as information about emergency situation. This research aims to utilize caption data from Instagram posts to produce a map showing the location of emergency situations in South Jakarta. From 1088 captions, 204 of them were successfully identified as informative and relevant texts for this study. The informative data then processed and visualized as a geographic information system using the OpenStreetMap map and the Overpass Turbo API, so that the resulting information can be more easily understood and can be used as material for further analysis by the public or authorities. This research combines the TF-IDF and Multinomial Naïve Bayes methods for classifying informative or uninformative captions on Instagram posts, as well as the Levenshtein Distance Algorithm for cleaning the dataset by correcting typos to reduce dimensions and improve the quality of the data that are going to be analyzed. The challenge in overcoming data imbalance is by implementing three text augmentation techniques, namely synonym replacement, random swap, and random deletion. From the model training process, an accuracy rate of 92,6% was obtained. This result shows that the proposed method is not only effective in improving classification accuracy, but also successfully provides informative visualizations related to the location and frequency of emergencies in South Jakarta.

Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of two optimization techniques, Grid Search and Randomized Search, in improving the accuracy of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification method in sentiment analysis of JKN Mobile application user reviews. The problem faced is the low accuracy of SVM classification in sentiment analysis when hyper parameters are not optimized effectively. This study aims to identify a more effective optimization technique in improving the performance of the SVM model. The research methodology includes the steps of collecting user review data, preprocessing, feature extraction, data sharing, model training, hyper parameter optimization, and model evaluation. In addition, Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique (SMOTE) is used to handle class imbalance. The results show that the combination of SVM with Randomized Search provides the highest accuracy of 82%, compared to Grid Search which produces an accuracy of 81.5%. The execution time for Randomized Search is also faster, which is 1 minute 21 seconds compared to Grid Search which requires 3 minutes 28 seconds. The SMOTE technique successfully improves the balance of the distribution of negative, neutral, and positive sentiment classes, although the F1-score values ​​for the neutral and positive classes remain low. In conclusion, Randomized Search is superior in terms of time efficiency and accuracy improvement, although challenges still remain in classifying neutral and positive sentiments.

Abstract

This study aims to detect intruders on a server computer used for Open Journal System (OJS) services. The server is connected to the internet via a router, making it vulnerable to external attacks. In this research, the tool used is Tripwire, installed on the server computer as the main object. Tripwire functions as a change detection tool for the file system, identifying suspicious activities and recording valid file hashes, verifying file integrity against this record periodically. The system is operated by journal managers from computers connected to the server within the same network address providing OJS services. The method used in this research is the Network Forensic Development Life Cycle (NFDLC), which consists of several stages: initiation, acquisition, implementation, operation, and disposition. Each stage is applied systematically to facilitate the forensic analysis of attacks. The research results show that the NFDLC method is effective in analyzing and detecting intruders in the network. Based on forensic analysis using Tripwire, 12 data losses were found in 7 attack incidents identified on the OJS service. This study successfully demonstrates that the NFDLC method and Tripwire tool are effective in detecting and analyzing intruders attempting to access the OJS service server computer.

Abstract

Legacy of Sisingamangaraja XII" is an educational game designed to enhance young people's understanding of the struggle of Sisingamangaraja XII, an Indonesian national hero who fought against Dutch colonialism in the 19th century. This research employed the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) to ensure the game's effectiveness. Developed using RPG Maker MV and the Finite State Machine (FSM) method, the game successfully increased interactivity by regulating the dynamic behavior of Non-Playable Characters (NPCs), enabling dialogues, providing clues, and responding to player actions realistically. The results of the evaluation showed that 81% of respondents felt positive about their gaming experience, 82% experienced an increase in historical understanding, and 84% considered the game to be an effective learning medium. FSM proved to enhance the depth of interaction and realism in gameplay, providing an immersive and enjoyable learning experience. This research concludes that "Legacy of Sisingamangaraja XII" is an effective and innovative interactive learning tool with potential for application to other historical materials.

Abstract

In Indonesia, fuel filling stations (SPBU) play an important role in the energy supply chain that supports community and economic mobility. Gas station management needs to focus on service quality and fuel availability for consumers. However, misuse by irresponsible parties often occurs, such as manipulation of the amount of fuel sold. This causes consumers to receive an amount of fuel that does not correspond to their payment, harming them and reducing the reputation of gas station managers. Technical errors, such as damage to dispensing machines, can also disrupt distribution. To overcome this problem, this research aims to develop a fuel monitoring and filling tool that uses a PING sensor and flow sensor. This sistem utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to connect sensors in the tank and pump. Data from the sensors is sent to the Blynk platform for analysis. This real-time monitoring is expected to increase efficiency, accuracy and reliability of fuel distribution and reduce the potential for fraud. By implementing this sistem, consumers can feel more secure and confident that the fuel they receive is what they paid for.

Abstract

Security is a critical concern when using wireless networks, especially on open networks. Opportunistic Wireless Encryption (OWE) provides a solution to enhance protection on open wireless networks through encryption. This study evaluates the impact of OWE implementation on the performance of 802.11ax networks, focusing on metrics such as throughput and packet loss, compared to open security. An experimental approach was conducted in a client-server topology, measuring maximum throughput using the TCP protocol with packet sizes of 384 KB, 640 KB, and 1408 KB. Packet loss was also measured using the UDP protocol with data sizes of 10 MB, 100 MB, and 1000 MB. The results indicate that using OWE leads to performance degradation as packet size increases. Throughput decreases by 5–10 Mbps compared to open security, while the highest packet loss of 16% occurs with a bandwidth of 100 MB. These findings highlight that the encryption overhead in OWE affects performance, particularly with larger packet sizes. Despite the performance impact, OWE significantly enhances the security of open networks. However, the trade-off between performance and security should be carefully considered when implementing OWE in practical scenarios.

Abstract

The church is a place of worship for Christians. In carrying out worship and service activities every week there are a number of cash receipts and cash expenditures. Currently, the Toraja Jemaat Bintaro Church is still recording cash out and in manually. With the creation of web applications that can facilitate the church in recording cash and android applications that provide financial information to the congregation. This web and android application will be created using the RESTful API method with android and web based, the web API will provide the data requested from the web and android applications. This method can also ensure the data provided to the congregation and in accordance with the database in the church. This application uses PHP, HTML, CSS and Dart programming languages. The API and web of this application use the Laravel framework while the android application is made with the flutter framework E-budgeting applications can simplify the process of managing donation, tithe, and budget data at the Toraja Jemaat Bintaro Church because the E-budgeting application makes church data collection processed accurately, efficiently, and saves time. This application can also provide more effective and efficient donation, tithe, and budget information for congregations that can be accessed at any time without the need to wait for the congregational newsletter that will be given every week.

Abstract

In the digital era, unrestricted internet access can have both positive and negative impacts, particularly in educational settings such as Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren). This study aims to implement a web filtering firewall system based on Mikrotik RouterOS to enhance internet network security at Al Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Kebumen. Utilizing the Mikrotik RB951Ui-2HnD device to manage network access and winbox for router configuration, this research applies a web proxy approach to restrict access to negative content such as pornography, online gambling, and online games, which may interfere with students' learning processes. The development process follows the Waterfall model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Results from the implementation indicate that the system effectively blocks unwanted websites, thereby fostering a safer and more conducive internet environment for educational activities. This research can provide an effective solution in managing and controlling internet access at the Al Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, Kebumen.

Abstract

The puzzle industry faces challenges in meeting dynamic market demands, necessitating appropriate strategies to maintain a balance between supply and demand. This research aims to design a forecasting system for stock requirements of puzzle products at PT. XYZ using the Double Moving Average (DMA) method. This method helps generate more accurate predictions, with an error rate of 7.25% based on the MAPE value from historical sales data. The analyzed data covers the period from September 2022 to October 2024, with the forecasted sales for the final month reaching 308.44 units. The analysis results are implemented in a web-based system using the Laravel framework. The system is designed to display forecasting results quickly and measurably in an interactive dashboard. With this system, the company can minimize the risks of overstocking or understocking, potentially reducing operational costs. The application of the DMA method assists PT. XYZ in understanding and responding to sales trends by producing low-error predictions, thereby supporting the company in enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing stock management to meet customer demands effectively.
