Abstract

The Karangantu Archipelagic Fisheries Port, commonly referred to as PPN Karangantu, provides a venue for business activities in the field of fisheries. These business activities are carried out by the fishermen of the Boat Lift Net. The Boat Lift Net captures small pelagic fish, and the catch is distributed by the fishermen of the Boat Lift Net at PPN Karangantu to fish traders outside the Karangantu location. This expands the distribution of the marketing of the catch from PPN Karangantu, as it is not only marketed at the Karangantu Fish Auction (TPI Karangantu). Therefore, the objective of this research is to illustrate the map of the distribution locations of the marketing of the catch from the Boat Lift Net landed at PPN Karangantu. Subsequently, it aims to identify the distribution channels for the marketing of the catch from Boat Lift Net at PPN Karangantu. To achieve these objectives, this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and Geographic Information System (GIS) with remote sensing methods. As a result, it is found that PPN Karangantu has 4 distribution channels and there are 11 distribution locations for the marketing of the catch from the Boat Lift Net

Abstract

The current condition of the Karangantu Archipelago Fisheries Port (PPN) is still considered unfavorable because the operational area of the port waters looks dirty and shabby. There are many ships that are no longer used in the Karangantu PPN operational area. Based on the results of interviews with PPN Karangantu officers, there are several things that cause ships to be abandoned in the operational area of PPN Karangantu waters, including the age of the ship, costs or capital, and human resources. Abandoned ships that are not immediately handled will result in obstacles to the flow of water traffic at the port and create a risk of collision for other ships passing by. Therefore, web-based mapping of abandoned ships (WebGIS) is needed in the operational area of PPN Karangantu waters. It is hoped that the results of this abandoned ship mapping can be used by the port to report abandoned ships to the center so that they can immediately take action to transport the abandoned ships. With the existence of WebGIS mapping abandoned ships, the port does not need to go directly to the field to find the location of abandoned ships because the information can be accessed via the web that has been created. Data collection on coordinate points was carried out by field survey and tagging using the GPS Map Camera application. The research results show that there are 74 abandoned ships in the Karangantu PPN operational area.

Abstract

The high usage of internet networks, coupled with various direct and indirect attacks, will affect the activities on the internet network. The office of PT. INKA Multi Solusi Service, located in Madiun City, has each employee working with their own computers, and the office's internet speed is 150 Mbps. However, the internet network at PT. INKA Multi Solusi Service faces several optimization issues. Three of these issues are related to internet security login, bandwidth conflicts, and unrestricted website access, leading to virus-related problems. The proposed solution involves implementing the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method, a bandwidth management technique used to control internet networks. HTB operates by allocating bandwidth hierarchically based on user needs. One of its advantages is that any unused bandwidth will be reallocated according to the priority needs of each user in a network. A captive portal will be implemented to protect the network from unauthorized users, ensuring that users have been granted permission to access the network through a username and password. Web filtering will safeguard internet users from harmful websites and restrict access to specific websites, especially those that could be potential sources of network viruses.

Abstract

The fuel commonly used by people for daily needs is Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). LPG leaks can occur in closed spaces with temperatures above 30℃ because they contain very dangerous propane and butane compounds. If there is no early warning, the gas cylinder can expode and cause a major fire. The proposed model is capable of displaying gas concentrations and air heat (temperature and humidity) and reporting via telegram using the fuzzy mamdani algorithm. The aim of the research is to design a model for monitoring gas leaks and air heat. The sensors used in this system are tehe MQ6 sensor for gas detection, DHT22 for temperature and humidity detection, fire sensor, and nodeMCU as an Internet of Things-based processor using the fuzzy logic method. This system will turn on fan, buzzr and send a warning to telegram automatically when conditions are unsafe and dangerous. The conclusion of the research is that buzzer warning and telegram notifications make it easier for users to identify gas leaks so they can take immediate action

Abstract

Thrifting, or purchasing second-hand items, has become a popular cultural phenomenon in Indonesian society, particularly among budget-constrained students. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies to comprehend the impact and motivations of students adopting the thrifting lifestyle. The findings reveal that thrifting not only serves as an economic solution for students but also fosters unique and creative fashion styles. Additionally, this activity positively influences the environment by reducing waste and supporting charitable causes through the sale of second-hand items by non-profit organizations. Thrifting emerges as an alternative that allows students to stay up-to-date with fashion trends without compromising their budget balance. In conclusion, thrifting is more than a shopping activity; it is a lifestyle that reflects creativity, social responsibility, and the need to adapt to changing fashion trends.
