Abstract

This study aims to abtain a clear and detailed description of coffee cultivation in Wolofeo Village, Detusoko District, Ende Regency, and the income level of coffee farmers and the factors that hinder the business of coffee cultivation. The focus of the research is the coffee cultivation business in Wolofeo Village, how much the income level of the coffee farmer community and the inhibiting factors of coffee making cultivation. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative in an integrated manner. With the population are all citizens in the Wolofeo Village area, while the sample in the study were 20 people from 2 hamlets namely Nuasipi Hamlet with 10 people and Jalan Sumbi Hamlet as many as 10 people. Taking samples in this study is done by random sampling, which is a lottery system because all have the same opportunities. The instrument used for data collection in the form of observation, interview and questionnaires, then processed and analyzed using the produst moment correlation coefficient formula. The calculation results obtained by rxy = 0.673, this result is consulted with a table of r value “Product Moment” with subjects (N) = 20 people in a significant level of 5% = 0.444 and a significant level of 1% = 0.561 which is simplified as follows: 0.444 < 0.673 > 0.561. Thus it can be said that the business of coffee cultivation has an effect in increasing the income of the people of Wolofeo Village, Detusoko Subdistrict, Ende Regency, with a moderate correlation classification of between 0.40 – 0.70.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) Participation Members of the Tuke Jung Cooperative Village Wairterang Subdistrict of Waigete District Kabik. (2) The success of the Tuke Jung Cooperative in the Village of Werangerang in the Waigete District District of Sikka. (3) The Effect of Participation on Members on the Success of the Tuke Jung Cooperative in the Wairterang Subdistrict District of Sikka. This research uses the postfactex design with quantitative approach. Methods of collection of the letters used were questionnaires. Populations in this study were members of the Tuke Jung Cooperative. Measures were taken by 80 people with the potential sampling method. The analysis of which is used in this study is not a multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that: Participation of Tuke Jung's operative group is quite good with a criterion of 73.75% while the success of Tuke Jung's Cooperation is quite sufficient with a criterion of 61%.

Abstract

The aim of the writing is to review the values in learning IPS at elementary school. IPS education is a simplification of social knowledge and humanities, and human activities which is organized and reviewed in scientific and pedagogical/psychology context for educational goals. The objectives of IPS at elementary school are a) to equip students with social knowledge that’s useful in society, b) to equip students with the ability to identify, analyze and develop an alternative social problem solving happened in society, c) to equip student with the ability to communicate in social communities and various areas of scientific and those areas of expertise, d) to equip students with the consciousness, a positive mental attitude and skills toward the utilization of the environment as a part of life, e) to equip students with the ability to develop the knowledge and IPS in accordance with society development, science and technology. Values is expected to exist within the community vary greatly according to the diversity, community groups and the value that exist within the community can only contains a good value and can also be value is not good. In the education value, we wanted the emergences of awareness in the implementation of the positive values and keep the negative values.

Abstract

Research results show that; (1) the influence of the environment on the interest of students of Flores University in choosing a place to live in boarding house can be seen that the value of t arithmetic on the environment variable is equal to 1.761 with a significance level of 0.004. Because the value of t count is greater than t table, namely (1.761)> (1.673) and its significance value (0.004) <(0.05) then it is said to be valid and fulfilling the requirements; (2) the effect of the price on the interest of Flores University students in choosing a boarding house location can be seen that the value of t count is greater than t table (2.317)> (1.673) and the significance value (0.022) <(0.05) is said to be valid and qualify; (3) the influence of facilities on the interest of Flores University students in choosing a boarding house location can be seen that the calculated value is greater than t table (1,691)> (1,673) and the significance value (0,007) <(0,05) is said to be valid and qualify; (4) the influence of decisions on the interest of Flores University students in choosing a place to live in boarding house can be seen that the value of t count is greater than t table (1.797)> (1.673) and its significance value (0.008) <(0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on economic learning outcomes. The results showed that there was a significant effect of emotional intelligence on economic learning outcomes in the amount of t = 1.991 and sig. 0.047 < 0.005. These findings reveal that emotional intelligence has a significant influence in improving students economic learning outcomes. From these finding it is expected that the school does not only produce student who have intellectual intelligence but must have emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: The influence of parents in the economy continue children's studies to college. This type of research is research quantitative descriptive. The population in this study is the children of Woewolo village who will went to college with a population of 50 people. The results of this study shows that the economic influence of parents in continuing their studies to the college level of Flores in Woewolo village, Mauponggo sub-district, Nagekeo District simultaneously known from the determination of53.8% and the remaining 46.2% is influenced by other variable who are not thorough. The partial results show that economic variables parents give a significant effect of 48.9% compared to the interest of children studying at the college level Flores by 27.6%. From the results above it can be concluded that the parents are very capable to pay for children's education to Flores college level, while the level the seriousness of children in learning at college is still very low.

Abstract

The focus of this study is the skills training activities for the workforce and the inhibiting factors that affect the level of productivity of coconut stem furniture. There are three problems to be examined in this study are (1) Are there training activities for workere (2) The extent of the influence of labor on the productivity of coconut bar furniture (3) Are there any inhibiting factors in producing coconut stem furniture. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative integrated. With research subjects as many as 10 respondents consisting of 10 workers and managers. The instrument used for data collection in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation, the data collected is then processed and analyzed using the product moment correlation coefficient formula. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the training of the skills of the workforce possessed in increasing the productivity of Maumere coconut stem furniture.

Abstract

Micro learning activities (micro teaching) in the Economic Education Study Program is a process of transforming science to shape the character of prospective teacher students who have specific teaching skills before implementing a real teaching program. Pragmatically, mastery of the material is less comprehensive, mastery of classes is less than optimal, awkwardness and awkwardness become modes of learning in micro teaching. It is also influenced by the limitation of the frequency of teaching micro. The acquisition of good / excellent grades in micro teaching activities cannot be used as a contribution to say that a 2014 Class of Economics Education Study Program student will be able to carry out real teaching programs well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of thematic learning with scientific approaches and learning outcomes of class IA students of SD Inpres Ende 7. The type of research used was classroom action research with data collection techniques namely observation techniques, and tests. The results showed that the teacher's activity in the first cycle was not optimal in fostering new experiences that were meaningful and more dominant use of time to discuss themes mathematically, not optimal in making general phenomena available to later draw specific conclusions (inductive reasoning) or otherwise specific phenomena later draw conclusions as a whole (deductive reasoning). Learning outcomes are 36, 36%. In the second cycle there was an increase in teacher and student activities and 100% completeness, with an average of 78.18. It is concluded that thematic learning provides a charge for students to have comprehensive thinking skills (multi aspects), having a rational and empirical relationship. Scientific approach (scientific approach) provides space for students to observe, ask, try, process, present, conclude, and create. Thus students will use the skills to investigate and or inquiry against a phenomenon or symptoms.
