Journal of Education on Social Science (JESS) ISSN: 2622-0741 (Print), ISSN 2550-0147 (Electronic) is a peer-reviewed journal and published biannually (twice in a year): April and October by the Faculty of Social Science, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. The objective of this research was to know the influence of work experience on the performance nagari apparatus in managing nagari finance in Tanah Datar Regency. The problem of this research is that some apparatus of nagari in this regency did not have sufficient work experience in financial management. The population in this research was all nagari apparatus totaling 525 people. Sample in this research determined through random sampling technique and consisted of 227 nagari apparatus from 32 nagaris. Data in this research collected through questionnaire with Likert scale measurement. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this research showed that there were influence of work experience on performance of nagari apparatus in financial management in Tanah Datar Regency. The results of the partial test showed that the influence of work period variable (X 1) on the performance of the nagari apparatus was 7.9%, the influence of the level of knowledge and skills (X 2) towards the performance of the nagari apparatus amounted to 8.8%, and the influence of mastery against the work and equipment (X 3) on the performance of the nagari apparatus in financial management was 9.3%. While the simultaneous influence of these three variables (X1, X2, and X3) on the performance of the nagari apparatus was 11.2%.

This research was conducted to find out how the concept of abuse of authority in criminal acts of corruption after the enactment of Law Number 30 of 2014 concerning Government Administration; and How was law enforcement in handling criminal acts of corruption after the enactment of the Law Number 30 of 2014. This research was a normative legal research. The approach used in this research was the statutory approach, the conceptual approach, and the comparative approach. From the results of the study it could be concluded that the concept of abuse of authority in criminal acts of corruption after the entry into force of Law Number 30 of 2024 concerning Government Administration was the Abuse of authority in accordance with Article 17 of Law No. 30 of 2014. Law No. 30 of 2014 focused on preventing abuse of authority. Aspects of criminal acts of corruption were first proven based on administrative law. In the process of law enforcement, if there was indeed an abuse of authority, then it became the basis by law enforcement officials to investigate or investigate allegations of corruption against the abusers of authority, whereas if in testing the abuse of authority by the State Administrative Court, the evidence was not proven, of course these actions could not be used as a basis for conducting investigations.

The purpose of this study was to determine the inhibiting factors and forms of empowerment of corn farmers by Stakeholders in nagari Kataping Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. The backround of this research is that there are still many nagari Kataping communities who do not yet know how to process corn after harvest. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive type. The technique of this research is purposive sampling. The informants of this guidelines the form of structured questions and documentation. Data validity test in this study uses data source triangulation techniques because the comparison and back-checking of the degree of information obtained through different sources. Data analysis techniques throught three stages, namely the stage of data reduction, the stage of data presentation, and the stage of drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the forms of empowerment of corn farmers by Stakeholders and the inhibiting factors for the cultivation of corn farmers by Stakeholders in the nagari Kataping Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

The implementation of Virtual Office Administration System (SiMAYA) in Secretariat Office of West Sumatera Province still faced various obstacles, such as lack of regulation, limited of human resources, and so on. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinant factors in the implementation of SIMAYA program, and efforts made in overcoming the problem. This study was conducted through a qualitative research using descriptive method. The informants of this study were determined through purposive technique. The data of this study were collected through observation, interview, and documentation study. Then, the data were analyzed by interactive model analysis technique. The finding of this study indicated that (1) The implementation of Virtual Office Administration System (siMAYA) in West Sumatera Provincial Secretariat had not been effective; (2) There were still many inhibiting factors in the implementation of siMAYA program in West Sumatera Provincial Secretariat office, such as limited human resources, lack of hardware devices, unclear software usage, lack of data, and limited of LAN network. (3) Efforts made in overcoming these barriers include human resources training and completing the facilities and infrastructures.

This study aims to determine the authority of the Camat in the Era of Regional Autonomy in SitinjauLaut Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency and effects that hinder the implementation of the authority of the Camat in Sitinjau Laut District, Kerinci Regency.This research is motivated by a number of issues including the decline of functions, roles and authority of sub-district heads in government and sub-districts and sub-district heads. It is still seen as an important institution and actor whose role is in fostering social relations and public services. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The informants of the study were determined purposively. Data is collected by making observations, interviews, and documentation studies and reduced so that conclusions can be drawn. The results showed that the delegation of authority was given based on the objectives and plans that had been prepared previously and the mechanism applied in SitinjauLaut Subdistrict had been based on the clarity of the position hierarchy even though the implementation was less effective due to the sub-district institution.

This study aims to describe the success of Prodi IAN FIS UNP graduates in getting a job and to identify the factors determining the success of the graduates in finding employment. This research was conducted through quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation on several private and government agencies in the province of West Sumatra where the alumni of Prodi IAN work. To obtain quantitative data the researchers used a technique of proportional sampling area through the tracer study. As for the qualitative data, the informant has been determined purposively. Qualitative data were analyzed through interactive models of analysis. While quantitative data were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis in the form of frequency, percentage, and mean. The results of this study, among others, indicate that the sustainability of a study program depends not only on the ability of managers to manage the institution, but should also consider the needs of other stakeholders interested in the study program that is students, alumni, and the workforce.

Health is a fundamental thing in human life. Healthy development is an investment for the development of Indonesian communities, therefore increasing community awareness, willingness, and abilities is a must. Benchmarking of success in health development is the creation of quality public health services. Increasing challenges in health development, impacting on public health services become less optimal. The government tries to improve the quality of public health services by creating various innovations through digital technology. Andalas Community Health Center as part of the government improves the quality of health services through Ayo Ceting Program, which aims to prevent stunting in the District of East Padang. Ayo Ceting consists of three program packages namely, WhatsApp Group for Pregnant Mothers, Rumah Gizi and Digital Education: The Ayo Ceting Android-based application. This study aims to determine the implementation of Ayo Ceting innovation at Andalas Public Health Center, Padang City. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, where research is conducted to obtain and collect in-depth data directly from the research location regarding the use of Ayo Ceting applications. The informants in this study were health workers responsible for the stunting prevention innovation program at the Andalas Public Health Center in Padang. Based on the explanation from sources, Ayo Ceting innovation increasing people's knowledge and understanding of Stunting and it prevention and empowering the community itself to actively report their health data. Furthermore, it provides more effective and efficient public services, and finally, the community can obtain information with access and a more attractive appearance

Organizational culture factors that influence the ability of the nagari government apparatus in managing financial nagari : The purpose of study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture on the performance of nagari government apparatus in managing nagari financial in tanah datar regency. Background of this study was still poor performance of nagari government apparatus in managing nagari financial that there was in Tanah Datar Regency. This study used quantitative method. This study was conducted to 75 nagari government in Tanah Datar Regency with total population as many as 600 people consisted of walinagari, nagari secretary, nagari treasurer, and five head of nagari affairs. The sample in this study consisted of 244 respondents determined with slovin formula. The data of this study collected through questionnaire with likert scale measurement. Data of this studi were analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression Test. The result in this study showed that organization culture variabel, both simultaneously and partially significantly influence the nagari financial management in Tanah Datar Regency

This research aimed to determine the influence of work environment on service quality at Labor and Industry Agency of Padang City. This was an associative study with a causal relationship variable. The population of this study was all of people who received services at Labor and Industry Agency of Padang City on July 2018. Sample of this research consisted 265 respondents, determined through the table of Isaac and Michael with a level of 10% error. Data in this research were collected through questionnaires and analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis by SPSS version 22.0 software. The results of this research showed that there was a significant influence of physical work environment (X1) on service quality (Y) with a contribution amounted to 22.3%. Then, there was also a significant influence of non-physical work environment (X2) on service quality (Y) with a contribution amounted to 8.9%. Furthermore, there was also co-significant influence on the physical work environment (X1) and the non-physical work environment (X2) simultaneously on service quality (Y) with a contribution as many as 25.8%.

This article aims to determine the effectiveness, constraints faced by Duta Genre in socialize Genre Program BKKBN in Padang City. As well as knowing how far the role of government overcome the genre ambassador problem in socialize genre BKKBN program. This research uses a qualitative approach which is interpreted as a research resulting in a descriptive form of words that can be observed and directed to the background individually and in society. A qualitative research approach is a complex, in-depth approach. The informant is derived from the management of the generation planning Program, including Kasubid area of population control, counseling and mobilization DP3AP2KB Kota Padang, and from the Genre ambassadors. Based on the results of the study, the genre ambassadors in socialize BKKBN program in Padang City can be said to be effective. Padang City people feel the benefits of the presence of the genre ambassadors in socialize Genre BKKBN program. The changes that occurred after the ambassador genre can also be seen from the problem of young marriage, Napza, free sex, and readiness of human resources who are ready to receive the BKKBN program through the genre ambassadors by proving the public can Overcome obstacles. But there is still a shortage in the implementation of the genre ambassador activities in socialize Genre BKKBN program is weak supervision done to the event of the ambassador of the genre itself.
