Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has given birth to online attendance innovations using Quick Response Code (QR Code), utilizing technology to facilitate fast and responsive information exchange. Attendance systems play an important role in monitoring staff attendance and measuring productivity. Currently, the attendance system for TKIT Insan Mulia Manokwari educators still uses a fingerprint machine, so fingerprint identification is slow and attendance is recorded manually. To overcome this, a new QR Code-based attendance system is needed. This research uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which includes requirements planning, system design, development and implementation. The resulting web-based QR Code attendance system simplifies teacher attendance and provides automatic recap reports, increasing data accuracy and reducing manual errors. This system effectively increases the efficiency of school administration. This research can be a reference for developing attendance systems in other educational institutions.

Abstract

The increasing adoption of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication networks has introduced new cybersecurity challenges, particularly in detecting and mitigating distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. This study evaluates the effectiveness of multiple machine learning models, including Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Machine (SVM), for DDoS attack detection in UAV networks. The dataset, derived from a simulated UAV communication network, incorporates key network parameters such as signal strength, packet loss rate, round-trip time, and base station load. Data preprocessing steps, including feature selection, normalization, and synthetic minority over-sampling (SMOTE), were applied to enhance model performance. Among the evaluated models, Random Forest demonstrated the highest classification accuracy with an F1-score of 0.839 and an AUC score of 0.912, outperforming other models in precision-recall trade-offs. Gradient Boosting and XGBoost exhibited moderate classification ability, whereas Logistic Regression and SVM struggled with capturing complex network patterns. The results highlight the effectiveness of ensemble learning in intrusion detection for UAV networks. This study provides valuable insights into optimizing machine learning-based intrusion detection systems and paves the way for further advancements in UAV cybersecurity. Future work will focus on integrating additional feature engineering techniques and validating models on real-time network traffic datasets.

Abstract

E-SinaARE is an application used to convey aspirations to members or leaders of the Regional People's Representative Council and increase community involvement in the decision-making process in the Bengkayang Regency. Community involvement in this application is still low, indicating obstacles to accepting this technology. This research aims to analyze the acceptance factors of E-SinaARE users based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. A snowball sampling technique was used for the sample selection because E-SinaARE user data was unknown. This study's total number of respondents was 100 people—data analysis using SEM-PLS. The research results show that performance expectancy and effort expectancy do not affect the behavioral intention of E-SinaARE users. At the same time, social influence and facilitating conditions are proven to affect behavioral intention positively. The positive correlation of social influence and facilitating conditions on the behavioral intention of E-SinaARE users means that the stronger the social support and the more adequate the supporting conditions, the greater the intention to use E-SinaARE. Therefore, the Bengkayang Regency government needs to focus more on increasing social support and providing sufficient conditions for the use of E-SinaARE, such as intensifying socialization and training activities, as well as campaigns about the importance of using this application and its benefits for the community, so that community participation in using it E-SinaARE is increasing.

Abstract

Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are chronic diseases that develop slowly, are not transmitted between humans or animals, and usually show no symptoms in their early stages. Prevention efforts through early detection of NCDs can be carried out in health facilities such as community health centers (Puskesmas). Puskesmas Bangkalan plays a crucial role in the examination of NCDs. However, the current process has several shortcomings in terms of time, cost, service, and resources. This study aims to improve the efficiency of the early detection process of NCDs at Puskesmas Bangkalan through the approach of Business Process Reengineering (BPR). The methods used include data collection, business process analysis, throughput efficiency testing, and solution implementation. The results of the study indicate that the application of BPR can increase the throughput efficiency of the patient registration process and physical activity examination from 66.67% and 64.28% to 100% respectively. The recommendations from this process resulted in a web-based interface design to enhance process efficiency.

Abstract

Improvements in information technology have complicated the issue of plagiarism in academia, particularly in higher education. This project intends to create a plagiarism detection tool that examines the similarity of PDF files to established references utilizing the Levenshtein Distance method.  The suggested system can effectively and precisely identify plagiarism by a series of procedures, such as text extraction, linguistic Preprocessing (tokenisation and stopword removal), and calculating the degree of similarity using the Levenshtein Distance method. Testing was carried out on various scenarios, including variations in document size and plagiarism levels. The experimental results show that the higher the level of similarity between the document and the reference, the longer the computing time required. However, this system can detect plagiarism with a fairly good success rate, even in documents with a low level of similarity. Black box testing confirms that this application can work according to the expected specifications, namely inputting PDF documents, detecting plagiarism, and providing accurate similarity percentage results. This research contributes to providing a plagiarism detection tool that can help maintain academic integrity, with the possibility of further development through integration with machine learning and user interface improvements.
