Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the role of internet in translating. The subject of this research was the students who took Translation course. The data in this research were taken in three methods that is observation, interview and questionnaire. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found that in the Translation course, the students had freedom on using internet to translate. Internet was believed by the students to be helpful on their ability to translate, especially in translating in more natural way. Moreover, the students used search engines such as google and yahoo, read articles in English, and used online dictionary. However, they tend to be not satisfy with the translation result of the google translate. Therefore, the first conclusion that can be taken is that the ability of the students to translate is good enough. It was proven by the mean score of the class which reached 78.67. The second conclusion is that the internet is quite helpful for the students to help them translating the material. Keywords: internet, translation ability, qualitative research.

Abstract

Now a days, the competition between companies is getting tighter with the increasingly competitive competition between business actors. In the course of the company is often faced with various problems in maintaining its survival, such as difficulties in increasing sales, increasingly varied consumer tastes, and uncertain economic conditions. Sales become a very important thing for the company, because the value of the profits or losses derived from sales activities become the source that shapes the overall value of the company and determine whether the company can grow and maintain its business activities. This study aims to find out how the cost of promotion and distribution costs affect the sales of food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. The population in this study is a food and beverage sector manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sample selection technique used is purposive sampling and obtained 9 companies with research period in 2012-2016. Data analysis method in this research is panel data regression analysis using software Eviews version 9. The result of t-test shows that promotion cost have a significant positive effect, and distribution cost has a positive significant effect. The result of F test shows that simultaneously promotion cost and distribution cost influence to sales with adjusted R2 equal to 97,7736%. Keywords: promotion cost, distribution cost, sales.

Abstract

The research objectives to be achieved in this research is to know the role of regional development bank (BPD) SULTRA branch unaaha in providing credit to the community for the development of service sector smes in konawe discrit. The sample in this study is the small and medium business actors in subdistrict unaaha which amounted to 23 people, from the result of the analysis obtained that the credit BPD Sultra branch unaaha have a real role in business development, especially smes service sector in the region unaaha. This is avidenced by the presence of loans borrowed able to increase their business. Keywords: the role of banks, UKM, small entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pemberdayaan dosen terhadap kinerja dosen di STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode survei dan tehnikanalisis jalur(path analysis). Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini adalah dosen pada STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung dengan jumlah sampel 80 0rang dosen. Tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi beberapa daftar pernyataan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberdayaan berpengaruh secara langsung positif terhadap kinerja dosen. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja dosen dipengaruhi oleh pemberdayaan.

Abstract

In this research the writer seen the social phenomenon that shows in the novel Ground Zero by Agustinus Wibowo. The purpose of this study is to describe the social value in the novel Ground Zero by Agustinus Wibowo. This research using the content analysis approach is a research technique to make replicable with regard to its context. The research method used descriptive qualitative method to presents the data decomposed based on objective facts in accordance with the data contained in the social value in the novel Ground Zero by Agustinus Wibowo. The data in this study are the words or sentence contained in the novel text of Ground Zero. Source of data in this research is novel Ground Zero by Agustinus Wibowo Published by PT. Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2013 with 556 pages. The technique of data collection used of close reading, noting and quoting. The results of this study found types of social values that are generally divided into three that is; value of affection, value of responsibility, and the value of harmony of life. Specifically the types of social value is divided into fourteen (14) social value they are;The value of affection consists of love or affection, devotion, mutual help, kinship, caring and respect to parents. The social value of responsibility consists of obligations, discipline, keeping promises, independence and trust. Furthermore, the value of harmony of life consists of cooperation, togetherness and adherence to custom. The types of social values mentioned above the most dominant value in the novel is the social value of caring. Keywords: Novel, Social, Value.

Abstract Bentor is short for Becak Motor which is a tricycle from Tobelo. According to the data obtained from the Tobelo City Traffic Unit and the Pehubungan Service, the number of traffic violations committed by the bombing vehicle amounted to 70 cases of violations by 2015 and traffic accidents involving the collision vehicle which amounted to 39 cases of traffic accidents in 2015 The problem discussed in this paper is how the application of the Law for Violations against Terrorism? And What is the sanction for the riders who committed the traffic violation according to the rule of law applicable This research was conducted by using the type of juridical Normative legal research. so the source of the Law material is analyzed is the legal material by using Approach of Law and Approach case. Abstract

Culture existence, as one of the nation's identity, ought to be maintained in order not to be lost. Although the times keep changing, the original identity of the nation, should not be faded and diplaced by outside culture that comes slowly through information and communication technology development. Generations that lives in this millennial era is different than its predecessor generation, especially with the presence of digital media, which has become part of an integral part of their lives. This paper aims to reveal the efforts of traditional Sundanese dance artist in introducing Indonesian to the local community and abroad.. Using qualitative descriptive method with phenomenology approach, the results shows, the efforts to introduce traditional Sundanese Dance made through performances in a variety of arts events and missions abroad. Communication used is mostly symbolic communication that manifests in the form of dances as well as its supporting elements. Keywords: millennial, culture, identity, artistry, symbolic communication.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of the service quality, customer loyalty at UD. cahaya unggas in Konawe Southeast Sulawesi. Sampling conducted using purposive sampling technique of 100 respondents. Data were collected by using the questionnaire method is to provide a list of statements and questionnaires directly to the respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study using PLS analysis. Results of this study indicate that the service quality affects toward customer loyalty. Keywords: service quality and customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze: The Effectiveness of the Implementation of Women's Economic Development Program at Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population and Family Planning in Southeast Sulawesi Province The method used is qualitative research with descriptive analysis. The data obtained comes from interviews, observations and document studies. The results showed that the Effectiveness of the Implementation of Women's Economic Development Program, the Women's Empowerment Agency, Child Protection, Population and Family Planning in Southeast Sulawesi Province has been implemented in accordance with established procedures, but not yet optimal.
