Abstract

This study aims to describe the form, meaning, and function of diction and figurative literary language of the journey contained in a collection of poems by A Romantic Journey the Beginning by Desi Anwar. Desi Anwar's method of stylistic assessment of ARJTB used in this study is descriptive-analysis through literature studies. The technique used in this study is by collecting data in the form of documentation, namely from ARJTB poetry by Desi Anwar as the research material object. While the formal object is the diction and figurative literature of travel. The results showed: (1) Studying denotative and connotative diction, the choice of words in my lyrics shows that the contents of ARJTB poetry are not merely channeling factual information but there are convincing goals, persuading, reminding, and insinuating with contextual understanding of a particular culture; (2) The figurative language in ARJTB's poetry hides the true meaning with an image and the poet has tricks to create a richer, more effective, and more suggestive effect in the language of poetry; (3) By Meaning, the ARJTB poem contains a fairly detailed description of the author's experience and perception of a place. I lyrics can give pragmatic information about a place visited and a description of people's culture through the author's perception; (4) The function of travel literature can analogize a story of narration and change one's intellectual attitudes to be wiser and pay attention to the meaning of beauty in every corner of the place (spot) that has been explored.

Abstract

The value of Javanese Culture in Novel Kartini by Abidah El Khalieqy and the Implications for Learning Appreciation of Indonesian Literature in High School. This study aims to determine the value of Javanese culture contained in Kartini's novel by Abidah El Khalieqy and its implications for literary appreciation learning in high school. Data from this study is the use of the Kartini novel by Abidah El Khalieqy. This research is classified as qualitative research. In this study the objects studied by the authors are: (1) intrinsic elements which include the theme, setting, plot, character and characterization, mandate, point of view and style of language. (2) The value of Javanese culture relates to various Javanese cultures such as literature, language, traditional ceremonies, arts, architecture, culinary, traditional clothing. (3) The dominant Javanese hierarchy emerged which was then analyzed using Javanese cultural theory. The results of the research conducted by the author indicate that many different Javanese cultures are contained in the novel. The emergence of these various cultures is none other because it is influenced by the background used in the novel, namely in Jepara, Central Java.

Abstract

This classroom action research was motivated by the students’ low scientific process skills and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science. One of the reasons is the lack of teachers’ ability in choosing appropriate learning model and using of Kit or learning science equipments in natural science learning. Thus, the implementation of Problem Based Learning approach with science Kit Seqip to students of class V SDN 20 Kurao Pagang Padang is one of the ways to solve this problem. The objective of this research is to describe the improvement of the students’ scientific process skills and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science at class V at SDN 20 Kurao Pagang Padang by using Problem Based Learning approach with science Kit Seqip. The instruments of this research were the observation sheets of students’ scientific process skills and teachers’ activities and the test sheets of students’ cognitive learning outcome. The results showed that there was a significant improvement of students’ scientific process skills and cognitive learning outcomes in natural science class V by using Problem Based Learning approach with science Kit Seqip from the first cycle to the second cycle

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the agribusiness of patchouli in Konawe Regency, (2) to know the feasibility of agribusiness of patchouli farmers in Konawe Regency, and (3) to know the pattern of future patchouli agribusiness development (market opportunity and patchouli refining industry) in Konawe District. The results of the research are: (1) Subsystem of supply of production facilities in the development of patchouli agribusiness is one of the supporting factors in increasing income and acceptance level of farmers. The provision of production facilities for patchouli agribusiness is felt to be quite easily accessible for patchouli farmers, especially the availability of fertilizer and medicine (2) the subsystem of farming (production) is a subsystem of farming is activities that used capital goods and natural resources to produced primary agricultural commodities. In supporting the success of farming, it requires the competitiveness of patchouli through the planting of superior seeds and the increasing of patchouli market share. (3) Processing subsystem is the industry that process primary agricultural commodities into processed products both intermediate and final products. Abstract

Value of Environmental Services for the Nura-Nipa Tahura Region as a Provider of Clean Water Sources for Communities Around the Tahura Nipa-Nipa Area in Kendari City, This study aims to find out: how much the value of the Tahura Nipa-Nipa Region provides a source of clean water for the people of Watu-Watu Village. This research was conducted in the Tahura Nipa-Nipa area, in the community of users of clean water in the TAHURA Nipa-Nipa area, which took place in October 2018. Primary data is data obtained directly from individual targets individuals such as interview and observation data. Interviews were carried out by filling out questionnaires / questionnaires, while observing by observing activities. Secondary data is data obtained from regional bodies, relevant agencies, local government in the form of notes, books, reports, tables or diagrams about the research area and carried out based on the principle of purposive sampling for location determination and Simple random sampling for determination Respondents by collecting data that have been determined based on simple random sampling, obtained 21 families or 20% (respondents) from 105 households. ased on the results of the observation, it was concluded that the average water use of the Tahura Nipa-Nipa Forest Area in Watu-Watu Subdistrict West Kendari District perKK in one year was 899.66 m3, so with a population of 105 households using clean water from the Tahura Nipa- Forest Area Nipa especially Watu-Watu Village is 944.64 m3. And if the value of the rupiah is calculated based on the current PDAM price for the people of Watu-Watu Village, it ranges from Rp. 472,320,000 / year. While the total willingness to pay the community (Willingness to Pay / WTP) ranges from Rp. 442,251,000, -. This is also due to the different levels of people's livelihoods and the level of willingness of the community to pay for the availability of water from the Tahura Nipa-Nipa Area.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of class IX students of SMP 1 Wawotobi in understanding the structure of text content. This research was conducted in class IX of Wawotobi 1 Public Middle School. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, namely researchers who support compliance in the field that aims to test students' understanding of the structure of the short story text content. The findings in this study are comparisons of students who use the structure of the content of short stories in Indonesian language learning in class IX 1 Wawotobi Junior High School by an Indonesian teacher who discusses through calculating averages (X) Average score of 77, 82 aspects of value assessment the average is 86, 23 and the resolution aspect of the student average score is 82.66. The three aspects are categorized as capable because they are in the range of values ​​of 66-85. Percentage of students' ability to understand the structure of short story texts in learning Indonesian language and literature in class IX of Wawotobi 1 Public Middle School by Indonesian teacher X) is 82.25. This value, if adapted to the quality of the ability to understand the structure of the short story text that has been determined is in the category of capable. Based on this description, it can be concluded that some of the achievements have succeeded in making the structure of the content of the short stories can be mastered by students. The conclusion in this study is the class IX students of Wawotobi 1 Public Middle School depending on the category of being able to improve the structure of the short story text content.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Time Budget Pressure, auditor experience and Audit Tenure both partially and simultaneosly to audit quality at public accounting firm of region medan city. The test use in the study is the survey method, the type of data studied is quantitative data, the populations of study are auditors who worked at public accounting firm of medan by confinient sampling method with the number of respondents as many as 80 and the result showed that partially and simultaneous the variable of Time Budget Pressure, auditor’s experience and Audit Tenure has significant effect on audit quality. The researcher suggests that for future research to be able to improve this research such as adding more variables and expanding the population.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the availability of facilities, comfort and service to interest in reading in the Kefamenanu Regional Public Library. This research was conducted at the Kefamenanu Regional Public Library. The sample determination technique uses the Slovin formula with a sample of 100 people. Analysis Method The data used are validity and reliability analysis, classic assumption test and multiple linear regression using SPSS 21 program. The results showed that based on the partial test (t test), the availability of facilities, convenience and services had an effect on reading interest in the City Public Library Kefamenanu. Simultaneously (F test), Availability of Facilities, Convenience and Services has an effect on Reading Interest with a significance of 0,000 <0,05.

Abstract

In this study, how to create an SMD resistor application that aims to help mobile phone technicians who experience problems in reading an SMD resistor value whose size is as large as fleas. This is because the SMD resistor has unique codes to determine the value of a component that is not easily memorized for mobile and computer repair technicians, thus influencing the effectiveness and speed of work of mobile phone technicians. For the tools used in making this application include the Indigo Eclipse, Android Windows SD, UML and Flowchart.
