Abstract

Rose (Rosa hybrida L.) is classified as the genus Rosa and is an ornamental flower plant in the form of herbs with thorny stems. Roses have many types, one of which is a type of sowing roses that are widely grown in Tapak Village, Panekan Subdistrict. Sowing roses can be used as a support for daily economic needs by residents in Tapak Village. In addition, rose plants can be used as conservation plants, if planted on a bench terrace on sloping land. The Panekan area is an area declared by the Magetan Regency Government as an area prone to landslides. Until now the terraces of sloping land in Tapak Village are often not utilized with terrace reinforcing plants, so land degradation is increasing and expanding, mainly due to the high level of soil erosion, especially in sloping areas. Utilization of conservation techniques with rose plants on sloping lands prone to erosion can reduce degradation of soil fertility. Therefore it is necessary to provide assistance for: 1) planting a terrace with rose plants; 2) supply of rose seeds and non-dependence on synthetic chemical fertilizers. Community service activities are held from October to December 2018. Each partner farmer is given training and is facilitated to supply sowing roses and compost plus for nurseries. The method of activity uses a group approach, field meeting, farmer course. The mentoring activity was carried out with a pattern of rural appraisal Participatory, namely working with members of farmer groups in Tapak Village. The results of the mentoring activities were carried out to increase the income of sowing rose farmers and reduce degradation on sloping land.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is carrying out development with a large population. The construction of citizen housing has occurred in many regions. But many homes were damaged. One reason is the use of building materials. Each construction must be subjected to material testing first. One material that is usually tested is concrete. Concrete testing can be done including the Specific Gravity Test and Absorption of Coarse Aggregate Water, as well as the Content Weight Test, Mixed Production Volume, and Concrete Air Content. In this service activity, socialization will be carried out to the public about the importance of testing building materials before carrying out construction. Because some people still have not tested material before carrying out construction. The activities carried out included socialization, training, and mentoring. After the activity is complete, an understanding evaluation of the material is carried out. From the results of the evaluation, it was found that the percentage of understanding was 53%, for the people who understood enough by 31%, and those who did not understand at 16%.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest rice producing countries in the world. In rural areas, the majority of the population has a livelihood as rice farmers. Being a farmer also has several obstacles, one of which is the attack of planthopper on rice plants. This makes the yield less optimal. Farmers must be vigilant from the outset against planthopper pests. Onward with the development of technology, farmers can use information technology as a learning tool to detect planthopper pests early and control them. The result of the development of information technology that every community uses and owns is an Android-based smartphone. For this reason, with the socialization of the application of early detection of planthopper pests and their control using biological agents can help farmers in managing rice plants. The app is made based on Android, so farmers can install the application into a smartphone to detect planthopper pests. Whereas for the control of planthopper pests selected using Biological Agent, because Biological Agents are a safer way to control planthopper pests than using pesticides. By utilizing Android applications and biological agents, farmers are expected to get maximum yields.Keywords—: Rice; Wereng Pest; Socialization;  Biological Agents.

Abstract

The wider community, especially mothers and adolescents, have not been aware of the importance of using hygienic cosmetic products. Microbial contamination in cosmetics can occur due to the use of unhygienic applicators and the exchange of cosmetics between users. In addition, improper cosmetics storage in warm and humid places triggers microbial growth. Based on this, it is necessary to educate cosmetic microbial contamination of PKK RW 09 Bumi Antariksa Residence Madiun. The activities carried out through lectures, interactive discussions, consultations and assistance related to the use of cosmetics material and storage are good to minimize microbial contamination. Educational activities have succeeded in increasing partner knowledge about the correct handling of cosmetics including the use, the expiration of cosmetics and its storage and increasing knowledge concerning the prevention of microbial contamination in cosmetics including the correct handling of applicators and the use of cosmetics together. Keywords—: education; microbial contamination; cosmetics; bumi antariksa.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide counseling and dissemination of the establishment of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) with all formal legal aspects and the development of BUM Desa empowerment. Including Mendak Village, Dagangan Subdistrict, Madiun Regency, which has the potential of superior products in the form of fruit plants and natural tourism potential such as Watu Rumpuk tourist destinations. The implementation of community service is carried out by using methods of counseling or legal communication both directly and indirectly.Referring to the laws and regulations the establishment of BUM Desa as a village economic institution must have a strong legal basis. Where the BUM Desa privilege is located in 1) the formation of sufficient Perdes, 2) the highest authority in the hands of the Musdes, 3) ownership of at least 60% of the village government. These three things are to maintain the sovereignty of the establishment and management of BUM Desa in the hands of the villagers. There are three factors that influence the success of BUM Desa. First, natural resources owned. The second factor is funding capital for financing. Third, the factor of Human Resources (HR). Keywords—: Formal Legal; Establishment; BUM Desa Empowerment.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding of accounting in general and provide training in the preparation of accounting (financial statements) to owner  IKM  Kilodang Tawangrejo in Magetan . Since established, this  IKM has not had  financial report that resulted in Mrs. Suti's tempe  IKM and Mrs. Narsi are not being able to know the cash inflows and cash outflows. The benefits of this bookkeeping training are expected through training and mentoring. It is expected that IKM players can make simple bookkeeping and determine. the profit and loss of their business. Increase the income of  through information obtained from financial statements. Located in Tawangrejo Takeran, Magetan Regency, which was focused on chips, especially Mrs. Suti and Mrs. Narsi, which was conducted on 1 August 2018 - 31 December 2018. The activities carried out by providing training to IKM actors in making simple bookkeeping that will greatly help them in managing cash, so that they can find out the benefits and losses obtained, so that they can develop their business to become bigger and more resilient. Keywords—: Bookkeeping; IKM.

Abstract

Entity Financial Accounting Standards Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP) that are used for entities without public accountability. SAK ETAP is an entity that does not have significant public accountability and publishes general purpose financial statements for external users such as owners who are not directly involved in business management, creditors, and credit rating agencies. For this reason, KPRI Karya Praja needs to understand and compile financial reports according to these regulations. The purpose of this community service is to assist the KPRI Karya Praja management in preparing financial reports in accordance with SAK ETAP and the Cooperative Law, namely by providing assistance. The benefit of this assistance is that the KPRI Karya Praja management is expected to understand the presentation and preparation of the correct financial statements in accordance with SAK ETAP and the Cooperative Act. The method used by the socialization of SAK ETAP and the Cooperative Act was continued with assistance in preparing financial statements. The results of this activity provide knowledge and understanding to the administrative, bookkeeping and treasurer sections on the basics of bookkeeping, code adjustments and account classification based on Financial Accounting Standards ETAP and Cooperative Law and provide assistance in the preparation of correct financial statements in accordance with ETAP Financial Statements and Laws. - About Cooperatives. Keywords—: Assistance; Preparation of Financial Statements.

Abstract

Information Technology has grown rapidly in Indonesia. Almost all problems can be handled by a computer. For this reason, every level of society must be ready and able to follow along with the development of technology. After the development of information technology, typewriter users moved to the computer. Because of its more efficient performance. Now almost all people must have switched from being manually switched to computers, nowadays performance is demanded to be faster in solving a problem. Correspondence is a problem that is often handled by computer administrators in order to become faster, the making of letters or reports at the village level government should be using a computer. But in reality, there are still many village officials who cannot yet use computers, especially older employee. Even though in making letters or reports, village administrators are required to work faster. By referring to these problems, at this time service will be conducted a training aimed at village officials about their understanding of information technology, especially the ability of village officials to understand the making of letters or reports using Microsoft Office 2007. Microsoft Word 2007 and Microsoft Excel 2007, this programs is often used when making reports. Abstract

This service aims to provide an understanding of juvenile delinquency problems. By using legal counseling methods. Location of community service in Ngujung Village, Maospati Subdistrict, Magetan District. Based on the results of the discussion show that adolescence is a period where an individual experiences a transition from one stage to the next and experiences changes in both emotions, body, interests, behavioral patterns, and also full of problems. While Juvenile delinquency (juvenile delinquency) is malicious behavior, or crime / delinquency of young people is a social pathology in children and adolescents caused by a form of social neglect, so they develop deviant forms of behavior. For this reason, efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency can be done, among others: (1) Parents must pay more attention, supervision, and affection to children and parents must open two-way communication (listening and open) to children, (2) Giving limits on freedom, (3) Providing religious education to adolescents, (4) Teaching adolescents not to be easily influenced by negative relationships, (5) Providing positive activities to adolescents so that adolescents are busy and do not have time to do things negative things and (6) Providing knowledge about laws that regulate juvenile delinquency and sanctions. Keywords—: Extension of Law; Juvenile Delinquency.

Abstract

Abstract— Information and communication technology is currently developing very rapidly, this is indicated by the use of the internet by the general public. The internet as a medium of communication and information has now become a primary need. The benefits of the internet are very large, especially in the world of education, entertainment, business and government. Kiringan village is one of the villages located in Takeran District, Magetan Regency. Kiringan Village still uses conventional information media, namely by using a notice board located at the village office to convey public information such as an introduction to the organizational structure, activities, location and village potentials that the community feels is less legible. With the development of information and communication technology that is increasingly rapid and massive, the village of Kiringan needs an online information medium which can also be called a village website. So that this village website is expected to optimize public information to the Kiringan village community and the community outside the Kiringan village as a village promotion media in introducing the village potentials as well as the administration of public services in the Kiringan village. Keywords—: Information Technology; Kiringan Village; Public service; Village Website.
